You Don't Even Know Who You Are!

"What could I expect? Jedi overstepping their authority is not surprising. Jedi being used as manipulatable tools is not surprising. Well, today will be the day I begin collecting lightsabers then.", I say as I take out Destined Death and ignite it.

As I remember, around 30 Jedi at most made up Dooku's task force. However, seemingly accounting for my presence, there are 50.

This may make break a sweat...

I wasn't the type to wait, nor give an advantage. As they have the numbers, I need to be on the attack. With me on the attack, their greatest mistake is not bringing the motherfucker himself, Master Windu.

I do a Force-enhanced dash to the right side of their shoddy formation. Coupled with my armor enhancements and my own natural ability, I was there in less than a blink of an eye. The Jedi I arrived at was no where near my level, and was chopped in half. I then deftly rolled out a few grenades.

They exploded, and 7 Jedi died. A little less than expected. Dooku chose the more skilled Jedi it seems.

8 down, 42 to go.

I cloaked, moved around to the back of two jostled Jedi, cut off their heads.

40 to go.

I threw three shuriken to my side. 2 were blocked, 1 injured a Jedi. Dooku could actually tell my location, and threw his lightsaber at me. I deflected it and he recalled it back. I move again, go after the injured Jedi. 2 were guarding him, I attacked the two and dropped an activated power blade. It sought its target and tried to go for the legs of the injured. The injured Jedi jumped up, only to panic when the power blade stops and does a 90 degree upward turn. The power blade proceeds to bisect the poor Aqualish Jedi.

39 to go.

The rest are all fully recovered from my storm rush. They all zero in on my location, although they cannot see me. I uncloak as that will make their attacks more predictable. Lightsabers begin to descend on me. 2-9 blades try to strike at the same time at any time. Despite my larger figure, I dodge, block, and deflect with my light-glaive.

I cut off hands, and the initial attackers are pushed back. I throw down a trusty smoke bomb, to conceal myself as I dash at the 5 who had their hands cut off. I dash to two, slice both in two. At the same time I throw two more grenades on the ground towards the other 3. they explode and the other 3 are killed, along with 2 more.

7 down, 32 left.

I am then hit with a collective Force Grasp by the remaining Jedi. My body goes still, but I am not limited by the Dark or the Light. I do something, the Jedi will never be able to do. The Force is like a sheet of metal that is wrapped around me, holding me. Instead of resisting, I bring it in, I let the metal form crumble away and make it into water. Through a deep calm, and inner peace. Then I let it flow around me, like a soft touch. An ultimate expression over my understanding of the Light Side. The Force responds to you, your emotions, your thoughts. Through that understanding, the firm hold became a light touch. Then just as easily as I made it water, I made it into lightning. I pushed out the Force, made it screech as it reflected my anger. 10 Jedi around me were hit with red lightning, and were turned into ashes. The rest managed to block with their lightsaber. With this one counterattack, I showed the Jedi my mastery over the Force. Now, they are hesitating.

22 left.

They all could feel it, they all knew the gravity of what I just achieved. Dooku himself is wide-eyed in disbelief.

He could not help but say aloud, "How could you have mastered both sides of the Force to such a degree?!"

I take this moment to enlighten them, "When you die, you become one with the Force. What everyone fails to understand, is that we are already one with the Force. It is just as much a reflection of us as we are a reflection of it. I mastered both sides, by accepting and developing both sides of myself."

As I see the Jedi still hesitating a great amount, I extend an out, "Master Dooku, by now the True Mandalorians have fled. You are all greatly outmatched anyway. I will give you this one chance. Take the survivors, and go. Leave and end this pointless battle."

"I was not aware that it was in your nature to let prey slip away, Predator?", Dooku says to me.

I respond, "As I've said, I've developed both sides of myself. This battle is unnecessary. This is no hunt, this is just pointless bloodshed over a stupid manipulation. The only one worthy of being my prey here is you Dooku, and these circumstances do not please me. So, will take my one offer of mercy?"

Dooku furrows his brows, "I will take your offer of mercy. Although I do ask for a duel. I wish to see."

I slightly relax, "Then a duel you will have Master Dooku."

A Jedi I recognize as Komari Vosa shouts out, "What! How could you accept mercy from this monster! He killed 28 of us! How can we not avenge them!"

Dooku sternly stares her down, "You will stand down Knight Vosa or I will make you. We will have peace as of now. Our mission is a failure anyways. Jedi do not seek vengeance!"

The human female knight promptly shut up and retreated to the back of the remaining Jedi.

We both then stand apart from each other, ready for the duel. Dooku gives a gesture of respect and ignites his lightsaber. I do the same and ignite Destined Death.

Dooku makes the first move. He dashes at me and sends a flurry of quick strikes. As his weapon is much more nimble, and his form is suited to one-on-one duels; I am actually finding it challenging to defend.

However, rotational weapon movement is not to be underestimated. I begin to twirl my glaive. Which would usually be comically ineffective for any regular person. However, every twirl deflects a fast strike for me. As I am not regular in any way. A few deflects later I counterattack with a overhead swing. He raises his lightsaber to block, but he is put on one knee from the power behind it. It was a bad idea for him to try and block with one arm. He now two-hands his hilt to finally knock my blade aside before going back to one-handing. I press the attack.

In a desperate move to interrupt my flow, he sends a close range Force Push. Dooku while masterful, is not masterful enough to interrupt my flow. Just like Po from Kung Fu Panda 2 when he catches a firework ball, I take one hand to catch the Force Push energy. I bring in my hand in a flowing motion, with a calm breath it is redirected back at Dooku. Dooku is not expecting it at all and receives a Force Push himself. He is sent flying back and makes a hasty recovery as I am back on him again.

I feel the frustration turn into anger and Dooku attempt a Force Choke. I break it before it take full effect with a sharp release of malevolence through the Force. His anger is too weak to compare to mine. I Force Choke him back to show him the difference. It takes effect and he grabs at his neck, I then throw him aside.

I chastise him as I press the attack again while he is defending from the ground, "You used your anger, but have no understanding of it! You use Force Push, but have no calm or inner peace to make it strong and steadfast! Your blade is swift, but it is without resolve, conviction or a higher intent! Why use the Force at all!? Why ignite your blade!? When you don't even know who you are!"

With that last sentence, I knock his blade from his hands. I grab him by his clothes and lift him up to my eye level. I say directly to him, "Do you now SEE?"

Before he could answer, I drop him and he lands on his hands and knees.

"You have had your duel Dooku. I hope you got what you wanted out of it. Now take your Jedi and leave Galidraan." I say in finality to him.

He gets up and retrieves his lightsaber. He opens his mouth to say something, but says nothing in the end. He gives me a bow, and silently leaves with his Jedi. As for the dead, they are mine by right, so they do not take them with their departure.

Now I stand alone in this open space on some lonely world in this vast galaxy. Surrounded by dead Jedi and the silently mourning lightsabers that have lost their wielders.

I sigh, "I have new genetic material, lightsabers, and trophies. I saved mt brother-in-law and his warriors. I dueled Dooku. Yet these 28 dead leave a sour taste in my mouth. A waste of life this was. That is what irks me about this. Yautja do not waste life. We carefully select, we have a way to choose, we make use of everything we kill. I did not select them or choose them. Jedi waste life in the name of some false pretense of good and order. What a joke that is."

I look at the dead, "They were just victims of circumstance and bad choices of those they follow."

"The Jedi wasted their lives, I will not waste their deaths.", I finally say.

I send a signal and have Arla come down with the ship. I have bodies to take care off, and lightsabers to to collect.

Thanks for reading. I had fun with this one. I like to poke at Dooku's character. Especially at this stage before he commits to Sidious. As he has many doubts and conflicting thoughts in his mind in this point of time.
