Chapter 119 - Indigo League; Ash vs Cameron

Soon the battle second battle ended with Cynthia completely crushing her opponent Barry.

[Cynthia have won the second match of this round with 6 points.] Barry sighed and then smiled. Barry thought he would get eliminated in yesterday's point round. But he managed to strike a win and advance in the top 10. Barry was very proud of being able to reach this far.

Yesterday when Barry's match with Cynthia was declared, Barry knew that he won't able to defeat Cynthia.

But still Barry didn't wanted to quit without trying. Barry gave his all in this round and lost without any regrets. Barry wasn't sad or depressed with the result. Instead he was feeling extra motivated to work harder and try to beat Cynthia in the next League.

"Thank you Cynthia. I have learned a lot from this Battle. I have realized that I need to learn a lot as a Pokémon trainer." Barry bowed his head to Cynthia.

Barry's action made everyone in the stadium stand up and applause for him. Even though Barry lost, he did the opposite of others trainers and actually showed respect to his opponent. This won him the hearts of many people.

Seeing so many people cheering for him, Barry's was really happy. Barry waved his hand at the crowd as he left the battlefield.

Opposite to Barry, Cynthia also slowly walked away. Each of her graceful steps seems to charm countless man. She attracted lots of men gazes on her. Even the cameraman had focused on filming Cynthia.

[Now that the second match is over. We are not going waste any time and start with the 3rd match.]

[The third battle will be between Ash vs Cameron. It would an interesting battle since both Ash is from Kanto region while Cameron is from Unova region.] Some Pokémon and workers came down and began to repair the battlefield once more.

Cynthia went back to meet her Parents and everyone.

Cling!

When Cynthia opened the door, everyone congratulated her together. "Congratulations Cynthia."

"With perfect 6 points and 10 points from previous round, your place in the Semi-finals is confirmed."

"Now both of our stars have been qualified for the semi-finals."

Cynthia smiled and sat down without saying anything.

Cynthia was happy that she managed to win without exposing much of her trump cards that she planned on using.

Cynthia looked at Itsuki who was sitting at the corner and looking at the TV. Cynthia wished from the bottom of her heart to face Itsuki in the finals.

Itsuki looked at Ash who walking to the battlefield with a proud face. Just seeing him, reminded Itsuki a lot of bad things. Just seeing Ash, Itsuki's happy mood turned upside down.

This young man who once called Itsuki his best friend didn't hesitate to go against Itsuki when he saw Itsuki was surpassing him. Ash and Gary once called Itsuki their own brother. But now both Gary and Ash stood opposite of Itsuki because of jealousy.

When it came to Gary and Ash, Itsuki's feelings were complicated. The sweet memories of the past made Itsuki hesitant on many things. The only thing that was stopping Itsuki from harming Ash and Gary was the memories of the past that Itsuki cherished. Today Itsuki didn't feel any happiness even after defeating Gary. It was because Itsuki was regretting losing that Gary who once smiled sincerely and called Itsuki his brother.

The crowd showed mixed reactions to Ash. Ash didn't bother about the crowd. In Ash eyes the crowds held no value. The people who cursed him before wouldn't hesitate to bow their heads if Ash were to threaten them. Ash viewed the crowd nothing more than bunch of peasants.

[Battle begins.] Cameron and Ash looked at each other and then both took out their Pokémon at the same time.

[Even though Gary had lost and was eliminated we still have Ash, from Kanto. Kanto's hope now rest on Ash.] Michael now was trying get the Kanto's audience cheer for Ash. But this time the crowd didn't even react to Michael's words as almost all the people in Kanto hated Ash for what he has done to Brock.

Dewott!

[Cameron has chosen Dewott. Dewott is a Water-type. It is the evolved form of Water-type Starter Pokémon of the Unova region, Oshawott.]

Dewott is a bipedal otter-like Pokémon. It is mainly light cyan blue in color, with a navy blue apron-like fringe of fur around its thighs that bears two scalchops, which can be removed an used as swords when it battles. It has a black platypus-like tail and small black ears. Its feet and paws are black, with three digits on each. It has a tuft of blue fur sprouting from the back of its head. It has ovular black eyes, four white whiskers, and a round pink nose.

Tauros!

[Ash have chosen a Tauros. Tauros also known as [Kentarosu] is a Normal-type Pokémon of Kanto region. It is said that Tauros is a violent, rowdy Pokémon that whips itself into a frenzy using its three tails.]

Tauros resembles a bull. He is a tan color, with a brown mane that covers part of his stout body, a slightly chubby belly, somewhat fat haunches, and a hump on his back. Tauros has blue hooves and horns. He also has three long tails. On his head, he has three blue circles from his forehead down to his eyes.

'Both Dewott and Tauros level is same. They are both mid 4th order Pokémon. At this round everyone must have gotten used to seeing each and every Pokémon of the trainers to be Peak 4th order or beginning 5th order. So the first fight between Dewott and Tauros will definitely bore the audience.' Itsuki also lost interest to watch the battle.

"Mom did you bought any food with you?" Itsuki was feeling bored and the best way to overcome his boredom would by eating something.

"I have bought sandwiches with me. Do you want some?" Itsuki nodded his head. Rui took a square box and few bottles of juices.

"Here."

"Serena, Cynthia, Sabrina, Luna you girls want some?" Itsuki asked before starting to eat. All the girls shook their. They were no feeling hungry as it was only 9:09 in the morning. Except for Itsuki no one had the appetite to eat anything.

"Dewott start the battle with Aqua Jet." Dewott!

Dewott's body was surrounded by water and it shoots itself like a rocket at the Tauros.

Ash seeing this ordered Tauros to use Horn Attack.

Tauros!

Tauros charged at Dewott as his horns glowed in white light.

Both Pokémon meet at the center of the battle. Their attacks collided with a loud sound.

Boom!

Both Tauros and Dewott was pushed back. So the both trainers were forced to use different attack.

"Take down" :- Ash

"Fury cutter" :- Cameron

Tauros charged at Dewott at very fast pace. While the tips on both of Dewott's claws glow light blue.

Both Dewott and Tauros met in another confrontation and both took damage from their opponent's attack.

Scene change..

Today Giovanni had came prepared. Giovanni have came to pay the debt to some people. One of those people happens to be Itsuki, Oak, Lorelei and Lance.

"I want everything to be ready before the mission starts. I don't want any problems to arise and spoil our plans." Giovanni warned all the elite members involved in this mission.

Giovanni looked at Ash and Cameron. The battle didn't interest Giovanni. Giovanni was more interested in killing Ash and Gary. Giovanni knew that Oak was trying to take the whole Kanto under him by using his grandsons. Giovanni was not going to let that happen.

"Today I will settle all the grudges of the past and eliminate any thorn that will came in my my way. Nothing will stop me from getting Kanto."

Giovanni had kept some of his men to keep observing Itsuki. Giovanni felt Itsuki was too abnormal.

In just two and half months, Itsuki managed to train his Pokémon to 5th order which normally takes years to accomplish.

"I don't think Oak has helped Itsuki. Only Oak knows the formula to make the serum that could push Pokémon level in a short time. So Itsuki must be hiding some kind of secret and I must know what secret is that."

The abnormalities of Itsuki began right when he disappeared from an entire month. In that entire month, Giovanni have used his everything to find out about Itsuki's location. But what he ended up finding was that after leaving Celadon city Itsuki had disappeared. For an entire month Itsuki had vanished from Kanto. Giovanni had even searched in other regions. In the end he couldn't find Itsuki anywhere. After an month, Itsuki arroved and challenged his gym with a different looking Zeraora. Giovanni believes in that month, Itsuki must have found something which increased his Pokemon levels so quickly.
