While Axel was looking at the book gifted by Giovanni, the gym leaders, elite 4, Oak and the champion of Kanto region were having an intense discussion of Axel.

The news about the fight and the reports from Alakazam had arrived at the table. After going through all the reports, the meeting of the top members of the league began.

"The battle was really something. His Alkazam had advanced to pseudo-king rank and now he has many elemental rank Pokemons.

In just a couple of months, he would have another pseudo-king rank Pokemon. Maybe in a few years time, he would be at our level. That kid is really a monster."

"You are correct. He signed in the battle and his strategy and tactics were to the mark. Making a strategy for every wild Pokemon is difficult but somehow he did it. His strategy of traps was also implemented well.

Agatha ignored all the praises about Axel and she continued to glare at Samuel. Oak, on the other hand, a small smile on his face and he said, "You can rain down the storm, Agatha. Holding back your anger is not good, especially for an old woman like you."

"Don't joke about this. You know how serious this issue is. Yet you are sitting here and smiling. You should be here with Axel right now.", spat Agatha.

"What happened? Did something bad happen to Axel?", asked Koga perplexed.

"It doesn't need to be reported. It is common sense. All this achievement and you have forgotten how he must be feeling right now. He is only 14 years old for Arceus shake."

Then it all dawned upon them. They also have to face the same mental trauma as when they first faced the tide. But that was a long time ago. Now, they didn't feel anything when they saw someone dead or when killing wild Pokemons.

What should we do now?", asked Charles. He was the most level-headed person in the room. Maybe that was why he was the champion.

"Yes, do say oh Pokemon master Samuel Oak. What should we do now? I don't want the kid to have a mental breakdown that he could not recover from. There have been such cases in the past and he is only 14 yrs old. So, what do you plan to do?", asked Agatha again.

"It is because of his talent Agatha. I have told you, people, repeatedly. He is more talented than anyone of us here. Neither Charles or me could be able to beat him in the future.

"You don't have to sound mysterious. Just say it.", Agatha was not in a good mood. She knew that Axel must be suffering a lot.

"I have a feeling that the world would turn upside down in the near future. We would be facing a big calamity. I want Axel to be stronger by that time.", said Oak.

"What calamity? Did you talk with Arceus? Did he tell you about this?"

"You know I cannot tell you anything related to Arceus. I don't know what type of calamity we would be facing but it would be something that we would not be able to handle with our current powers.

I am getting old and you know I cannot hold the fort for so long. After my death, all of my Pokemons have the choice to do what they want and I don't think many of them would support in this calamity.

Making Axel participate in this tide would rile up other fogies from other regions. They would also train their young generation to the limit. That is what I want.

Our generation is already over. We are just holding the fort for the next ones. Only the young generation would have the chance to survive in this calamity."

After a long speech, everyone was silent. Being a Pokemon master, Oak had the right to talk to Arceus but he could not reveal any of it to others. This was an agreement that had been happening since ancient times.

Now, Oak had said about this big upcoming calamity, and everyone was concerned about what it was. The worst part was, they didn't even know what the calamity was and when it was going to happen. Just that it would happen in the near future.

"Samuel, you still didn't tell us about Axel's situation. Right now, he is having a mental breakdown. How are we going to solve this? How are we going to make him normal again? I don't want the kid to be in constant pain.", asked Agatha.

"His family is the key. Over time I have realized that he loves his family a little too much. He is protective of them. Protecting his family would give him a purpose and that is the only thing that could make him normal again.

So, I have told him to spend time with his family until he is ready and to take enough time."

"That is good to hear. I hope he recovers fast."

"We can't hurry in this issue. We need to give him time and he had earned it well. Even if he stays with his family for 6 months, I am fine with it.", replied Oak.

The meeting went on and various things were discussed. Most of them were connected with Axel as he was the hot topic right now.
