Pokemon - A real story

There is a huge gap between the story of anime and the realistic story of Pokemon. This light novel closes that gap and gives the viewers a believable and exciting story with lots of adventure. Follow our protagonist Axel Blaze, a reincarnated person. With his knowledge of the previous Pokemon world, he hopes to dominate the world. But after he realizes how very wrong he was. This novel has a system, just to make things fun, the story is not focused on it though. "Success is like being pregnant, everyone says congratulations but nobody knows how many times you were fucked" So this novel tells the story of Axel blaze but all points of hidden difficulty he has to face to get it to there. -------- If you want to read advanced chapters earlier or just want to support me, you can do that at https://www.patreon.com/TheSilverPrince1 You can also visit my website and read 3 advanced chapters for free at: https://silver-prince.com/ (The story has a similar start as 'Pokemon - a mystical journey' so some people are probably confused. I wanted to say that only the beginning of the story is similar, not the later chapters and this story is not a copy.) Disclaimer: This is a fanfiction novel. So, the basics of the Pokemon world is not created by me. It belongs to "The Pokémon company".

Axel introduced Pidgey to the rest of his team. The little bird was a curious creature and it was very good at making friends. By the end of the day, every one was talking to Pidgey.

It also heard Axel call Shedinja and Alakazam by their nicknames and now it wanted one too. Axel didn't give it much thought but it was determined to get a nickname anyhow.

So, Axel named it 'Flappy'. The little bird was ecstatic and started flying all around. Before training Flappy and others, he wanted to get through the 2 remaining books of Giovanni. He didn't want to make any mistakes.

He first went through 'Items and resources'. Axel had knowledge about the items and resources and their effects.

Items and resources were divided into 7 main categories:

1. Type-enhancing items

2. Field items like repel and escape rope

3. Berries

4. Medicines like potions.

5. Key items like a clear bell and a good rod

6. Vitamins and

7. Legendary items like blue orb for Kyogre

However, the book focused more on warnings. Especially on medicines, berries, type-enhancing items and vitamins.

As per Giovanni, medicines should be forbidden during training time. Pokemon were not humans. They have higher resistant power and higher healing power.

"Most of the kids these days love their Pokemon very much. Puppy love. They tend to use potions on every small scratch.", the book said.

As per the book, a trainer should let the Pokemon heal itself in training time. That would lead to a better foundation.

Axel had a lot of money nowadays and he had been spoiling Tauros and Absol with potions. He thought to stop doing that.

Eating too many Vitamins was also no go. This should be consulted with doctors and nurses before letting the Pokemon eat it. The same was for the berries.

Type-enhancing items were not recommended till a Pokemon reaches uncommon rank. There was a good boost in power but 1 such item in every rank was enough.

There was not much to mention in the book but one thing got him interested.

Since almost 80% of the Pokemon world was still to be discovered, there were a lot of places with unknown Pokemons and possibly items and resources. Some of them are being revealed to the public while most of them were kept secret.

This interested Axel. He made a mental note to ask Blue about it.

And finally, he was in the last book about the moves.

The system had also given him a reward for move comprehension and also a word of advice.

He first thought to read a word of advice since the system had not done anything like this before.

The advice was just a single line.

"Get stronger faster. You are a lot behind than the others."

"What is this?", asked Axel but the system remained unresponsive.

Axel could not make head or tail of that statement. The system had never been wrong before and this statement was making him worried. Was there an impending crisis that was coming toward him or his family? Or was the world going to end? What was going to happen for the system to say such things? He didn't know.

He thought to train even harder and train his Pokemons too.

Now he looked at Giovanni's final book. He read all through it and also read the system notes on move comprehension.

After reading, making notes, and re-reading those documents, he came to some conclusions.

Giovanni's books didn't give him much information. There were general statements on how hard it was to create a new move or even modify it. Giovanni had also personally written some of the new and modified moves that he created himself for his Pokemon. That was a huge help for Axel.

Axel would not exactly copy them but he had got a lot of hints from his. He once again thanked Giovanni for these books.

After he read system's notes, his eyes were wide open.

First, the system revealed the difficulty of passing level 39. As per the system the moves were separated in following stages:

1. N/A: When a Pokemon first learns the moves

2. Understanding: Next step (lvl 10-19)

3. Competence (lvl 20-29)

4. Good (lvl 30-39)

5. Epic (lvl 40-

6. Extreme: A Pokemon can only upgrade 2 of its moves to the extreme. If a Pokemon upgrades 3 moves to extreme then its Pokemon rank would be upgraded to 'God'

The interesting thing about crossing level 39 and reaching epic rank was an improvement in the move itself.

When a move levels up, the Pokemon feel easier to use the said move. The Pokemon would be much more tuned to the manipulation of infinity energy of that move and it would grow stronger.

Obviously, the moves could also be stronger with good stats. But the stages of moves solely focused on the mastery of the move itself.

Just like when a Pokemon ranks up from rare rank to elemental rank, a Pokemon must transcend to reach the epic stage. This doesn't mean that the move should be modified.

Let's take the example of 'Flamethrower'. 'Flamethrower' is a deadly attack. A Pokemon would literally spit columns of flames from their mouth. It is a long-range attack which hits hard.

Now, to transcend the said move to the epic stage, it could be done in many ways. Either the Pokemon could improve the quality of the flame, making it more hotter than before. Or the Pokemon could increase the quantity of the flame to surround its enemies like an AOE effect or it could increase the pressure of the flame itself.

Axel didn't notice how Alakazam did it but it was able to do it and that was the fact.

The condition for reaching extreme rank was very vague. A Pokemon have to constantly reduce and remove the weakness of the move and improve the strength of the move to reach an ultimate level.

Axel didn't know how it could reach the ultimate level. The book didn't describe it but he figured out that he didn't have to worry about it until his Pokemon reaches champion rank and that would take a lot of time.
