review number 2. hmhm. now i know more abt the story, my only complain is update Stability, however, author said he will be more consistant frm now on, i m looking forward to it. the best part abt this story is Alice. that's it. Alice is cute. Alice is yandere. Alice is best. Read the Story to meet Alice. hm hm.
Iβm ten chapters in and most characters, including the MC, can be attributed to be naive, foolish, idiotic, and irking to various degrees and spectrums. But of course, the MC wins this competition with his edgyness and cringey behavior. The story itself is not any better. While the MC is raising your blood pressure with his frustrating and cringe actions and behavior, the author decides to add in some flashbacks and side character backstories that only serve to disrupt the story flow thats already gone to sh#t. If a good storyβs flashbacks and character background was compared to a suspence before a climax, then this one is like an annoying constipation on an already sh*tty day.
Upon reading the first chapter, I was already enticed by the world of this novel. So I kept reading, and found myself pretty hooked on the writing and the characters! The world feels vibrant and imaginative. I can imagine the characters in my head, and the harsh environment they're put in both mentally and physically. Sure, there's a few grammatical errors but not much that would jump out at you.
not terrible but also not really good. mc as the generic gluttony skill template but what really ruins it is the annoying yandere girl that got shoehorned in the story. she's a minor he isn't author is trying really hard to make mc a pedo and it's apparently supposed to be fun. alice gets more screen time than mc after she's introduced and the entire story tanks. this combined with the bad grammar makes this very unenjoyable and the generic story template doesn't manage to elevate it beyond mediocrity
Okay, first 46 episode review. Warning, this comment contains spoilers. Let's start with Mc's character... Although Mc acts a bit emo at first, the reason why he acts like that is because of an accident he had in the past. This doesn't last long and his character recovers. He becomes a character who likes to hunt monsters and make them suffer. He is also normal, affectionate towards those he loves. The only bad thing is that the MC is Dense. Yes, even though the series is a harem, there is only one love interest in the first 46 episodes. She is yandere but of course mc doesn't understand this and he misunderstands the girl's reactions and the girl misunderstands mc's reactions. So we can say a series of misunderstandings. When I say dense mc, you know the girl says "I love you" or "Let's stay together forever" in a low voice. More than once, but the mc doesn't hear it. Even if the girl really shouts "darling", he says "I must have misunderstood, she didn't mean it like that". In other words we can say, if the girl says "i love you" it out loud, he is "deaf", and if she write "I love you", he is blind. We can say that they have known each other for 1 day, but he doesn't understand any of her expressions. Even for a day, he cannot tell from her blushing face and behavior that this girl likes me. Personalities of the characters Mc's family is a really good and loving family. Mc's best friend and his sister are also nice and normal. Apart from that there are monsters with a certain level of intelligence and stereotypical evil young master type characters. Don't worry, the author doesn't prolong their lives. They die either in that chapter or the next one. As for the story progression and fights, we can say that it is very well written compared to the author's first book. Although the story progresses fast at first, it starts to slow down later. Especially after mc starts to hunt with his family. While Mc can progress much faster alone, the fact that he starts hunting with the team slows things down. The author's mistakes... The author forgets the characters he wrote at the beginning. For example, after saving a girl in the early chapters, he tells her to hide in a house and he will clean up the monsters around. After Mc cleans up the monsters, he forgets about her and goes on his own and never thinks about her again. The same goes for his friend and his sister. After returning to his family, Mc forgets about them and goes hunting with his family, not even knowing if they are safe or not... The story takes place in modern times and creatures come out of the portal like in solo leveling. In short, it is a series that you will find fun at the beginning and you will not be able to leave it after continuing. For those who don't like Dense mc, they may hate the series. Lol
Read while it was free to chapter 50. The grammar and over all structure of the story is good. The world background can use some touching up to explain the layout of the city and the world it self size wise and where they are compared to other places. The MC ability is similar to others Iβv seen in the past but still has its own twist. Update stability is tye only real complaint over all but every author has their own limit and time restraints wish the author success in his endeavor
I only read the first few chapters but I like the story so far. The only negative thing is that you didn't manage to do daily updates but that's understandable. PS: Regarding what you said at the end of the Sypnosis: How could anyone dare say something against Veliona! (Don't know if she's actually Veliona in the story, but still, how could they!)
