15 Training

Theo and Zero returned to Theos dreamscape.

"Okay so it seems you're ability didnt consume as much as you made it seem so it looks like we can train for another 3 weeks in this place before we should leave." Zero looked at Theo and asked " 3 weeks seems like such a short time are you really going to be able to teach me in such a short time?"

" yes yes it should be more than enough to teach you the basics of it all. first we need to test what short of spell attributes you are most likely able to use." as Theo said this he pulled out a large crystal ball. " Now all you have to do it inject some mana into it like this." Theo proceeded to fuse his mana into the crystal ball. As he did the crystal ball flared inside while the mana inside started to twist and bend together with the crystal balls mist. after a few seconds everything intertwined into a bright red color. " this color signifies my affinity to fire magic." after theo said that you could see the crystal ball swirl around and change colors again.

This time when zero peered into the ball the most started to turn blue. " This signifies my affinity for water magic." theo explained as the light spun inside creating an almost water swish effect. He then released his hand to his other and stopped the flow of mana.

Zero watched the reactions the crystal ball had given Theo. He looked a bit hesitant but ultimately his interest to see his abilities overcame him as he grabbed the crystal ball from Theo. Zero started to circulate his mana into the crystal ball.

He felt a heat begin to come from his hand and he saw the mana combine with the mist and change into a red light inside the ball. Theo smiled at the result of this test. " Hmmm it seems we both have an affinity for fire. That's good, that's good. I should be a suitable teacher." Theo thought to himself as he stood beside Zero during this test.

Zero focused on the image inside the crystall ball mesmerized with the fact he was doing this, this was his power he received from this world. He smiled thinking he would use these abilities he had been given to protect his family with all his might.

Just as he was processing this beautiful phenomenon happening inside the crystal ball he felt his hand go cool all of a sudden. Zero mana continued to flow as the mist inside the crystal ball changed from a fiery red form to a more liquid blue form. Theos eyes opened wide as he saw the attributes change inside the crystal ball. Of course his surprise wasn't for no reason.

In this world, Agartha, the amount of dual attribute mages were relatively low about 17% of all magicians were able to achieve this. It was not completely rare but still surprising indeed. The chances of Zero also having the same attribute alignments as Theo was also what shocked him. To be matched with a student so perfect was to big a coincidence.

Zero smiled. It was after all amazing he had two attributes and the cool sensation also calmed him quite a bit for some reason. Just as zero was about to release his hand and stop the flow of mana he felt another strange sensation. Zero felt another warm sensation but this one felt calmer than the original fire attribute sensation. Letting the feeling seep into the crystal ball as he did the other two sensations the mist again changed from it's more liquid form into a shining bright light.

This time Theos eyes did not just open wide but his jaw was agape at the fact he had just discovered a tri-attribute mage. This was indeed extremely rare. It could be said mages with this kind of latent talent could be counted on a person's two hands. This put Zero ahead of so many as long as he wasn't destroyed early, but if other empires found out they would destroy this kind of talent if they could not have it.

As Theo was thinking about all this Zero himself was the most surprised. He truly didnt understand how he achieved this but all he knew was he would not abuse this opportunity to make use of another attribute. As long as he had power to protect those he loved it mattered not how it came about to Zero.

No sooner then the previous time did Zero feel yet another sensation coursing through his hands. This one felt cold and heavy. Zero didnt feel at peace when this feeling started to pour out of him. The crystal ball reacted the same way as last time and the once shining light that looked light a tiny star completely collapsed. The entire crystal ball went dark.

Theo could no longer control his body as he began to pull down his eyelids at the sight he just witnessed. 4 ATTRIBUTES! Theo had only heard of legends of people actually having this. There was once a mage who had all 4 attributes who conquered most of Agartha before he disappeared to enjoy himself in other places because he was "bored" of this simple place. That is to say the people with grew to higher ranks were almost gods with the 4 attributes at their finger tips.

Zero was now worried as he saw the expression on Theos face. He could see how unique what just happened was by the pure actions Theo had just made. Still he felt no matter what power he received he was thankful to Theo for even showing him all this. Eventually he may have learned of his secret potential but if not for all the events that had happened he would not have found all this information out. He looked at Theo and felt himself forgiving this "young kid". Finally Zero could not contain the shock on his face as he felt something else.

He felt a very slow sensation creep up on him. This feeling was completely different from all the rest numbing his entire arm. The crystal ball began to change again, the darkness inside began to change into a silver mist. The most began to disappear and reappear inside moving all over the crystal ball. He didnt know what was going on inside the ball but he was extremely confused because he knew only 4 attributes existed. There were of course variations inside of each attribute but this seemed different from a variation from his other 4 attributes.

Theo could no longer accept what was going on he had fell flat on his a** staring at person in front of him. Not only did he have all 4 attributes he had now seemed to unlock some sort of mysterious skill or attribute that he had never seen from the crystal ball before.

Zero finally let go of the crystal ball and walked up to Theo. " Thank you for letting me use this." He placed it into Theos hand. Theo still was in shock processing what had happened. Zero crouched down to make eye contact with Theo. Theo still sat there silently waiting in anticipation of what Zero would say after conducting such a heaven defying miracle making history before his eyes.

Zero drew in a deep breath "So now that we know what my attributes are, when do we start training?" he said as he smiled towards this little teacher of his.
