16 Magic

Zero laughed at the sight of seeing Theo pass out. "Did I really just accomplish something that great haha" he thought to himself as he went to go practice controlling his mana while Theo was asleep.

Theo awoke from his "slumber" and saw Zero sitting down playing with his mana like a ball in his hands. Theo was surprised to see how well zero could control it seeing as he was relatively new to this all. Theo stood up and wiped off his robes to regain his composure. " Alright Mr. Prodigy how about we actually get to lessons so you can show me how many miracles you have hidden" theo said to zero as he walked up to him.

Zero stopped playing with his "mana ball" and stood up go talk to Theo. " Well I don't know what you think I already know but I hope to learn from you teacher." zero said as he gave theo a bow. Theos face became smug as he witnessed zero bow " yes, yes this is how a student should be. come over here I'll start with the basics."

Theo began to explain everything he knew to Zero. So our magic has its basic four attributes as you already know, but to make sure I will ask if you can recite them for me." Zero replied " okay, we have Fire, Water, Light, and Dark magic." Theo nodded in approval " good looks like you dont have mush for brains. Do you understand how magic is created?" he asked Zero.

" Its created by focusing the mana we cultivate inside our bodies and using it to make energy outside our bodies." zero replied. " Basically yes that's the simplest way to put it but now the hard part for beginners is understanding how to make your mana change attribute. Remember that feeling you had when you held that crystal ball." Zero nodded his head listening intently to Theos teaching. " Well try to replicate that feeling again while playing with your mana as you were earlier." Zero stood and and conjured his mana ball again. He smiled as he felt confident he could apply the same feeling before to this mana before him. Zero started to apply the sensation throughout his body and focus it into the ball but when he did the mana ball that was rotating in a very docile motion suddenly started to spin rapidly as a hint of fire aura invaded. Zero furrowed his brow as he focused on keeping his mana in it's current form, alas even with sweat drops forming at the cornes of his forehead fully focused on controlling it the ball of mana burst outwards and spread into the air.

"Damn why could I not control the mana with such a small amount of fire." zero said outloud towards theo. Theo smiled because Zero was a miracle maker 10 minutes ago and now seeing him struggle just as Theo did all those years ago made him seem more normal again and not some God that descended into this world. " Well it seems you have difficulty balancing attributes just like the rest of us. dont worry I'll teach you tricks to handle how to control the element combined with mana."

Zero continued to practice element magic with Theos guidance in his space for the next few weeks. Every day they would practice for hours before resting and talking over the lessons before practicing some more. This went on until finally Zero could conjure at least one form of each of his elements except for the 5th one because Theo wasn't familiar with it at all.

" Okay you've completed the beginner's course of my magic school. You need to cultivate and practice in the outside world once you advance your current level you can learn more as you'll have more understanding on mana and your own body. Oh that reminds me do you have and body refining arts or combat specialties?" theo asked. Zero smiled innocently and said" ummm not really I've barely started to learn magic I haven't even had a chance to learn of that stuff yet. when I fought that guy at the academy I kind of just relied on my instincts."

Theo nodded slowly " Interesting, very interesting he was actually fairly strong for his level so you fighting on only instinct you did well enough but I have someone I can introduce you too once we leave heresoon." Zero laughed and slapped Theo on the back saying "See I knew you never really hated me teach, I knew we would get along just fine."

Theo jumped away and yelled " dont attack me you fool I never said we were friends i just taught you what I said I would. now show some respect to your teacher and apologize!" Zero laughed a d gave a slight bow and said " forgive me for attacked teacher." he laughed some more and said alright let's go I really want to go meet this other teacher you are talking about.

"Alright let me focus and be quiet." theo said as he started to release them. " I will make you regret messing with me by taking you to learn under him!" theo thought to himself with a smirk on his face as they returned back to Agartha.
