43 Chapter 12

Oliver pulled into the driveway and waited a minute before stepping out of the car. The absence of Henry and Agatha's cars meant they weren't in and he wasn't quite sure if their son would be indoor as well. Worried sick over the past two days and unsure as to why his endless calls and messages weren't being returned, he stepped out of his car and gawked at the building before him. 

"Vukan?" he called out upon seeing the silhouette of a figure rounding the house with a hose in hand. 

He raced after the figure and stopped upon seeing it was the gardener tending to the lawn. 

"Excuse me, Is Vukan in?" he asked the gardener who stopped working to indulge him for a moment. 

"He just went towards the back of the house", the gardener replied before pointing towards where Vukan had gone. 

Oliver thanked him and raced towards the direction, almost clattering into Vukan who had a large bowl of soil in his hands.
