Upon seeing the look of anger in the eyes of the woman, Pixel let out a sigh. "You should be grateful that one of your children will be able to live on yet you are still only worrying about yourself and your prized son."

Pixel's amber eyes flashed with pity for a moment as she thought about what would happen in the future. "You have left a permanent wound on your daughter and even now, you will continue to do so."

Cleo was full of mental wounds that had helped to shape her from a young age but despite that, she was able to grow up so beautifully.

Even if she found the courage to heal from her mental wounds, there would still be traces left behind.

Having her own mother and twin brother be trialed for their actions was something that could leave her in a worse state and help to inflict more wounds upon her.

Pixel could not stop what was coming even if it was for her younger sister and even if she did succeed, there would only be further opportunities for her to be let down once again and left with more mental wounds.

Everything she and Micah had done to help her grow stronger could be ruined whether she took action or not unless Cleo was able to completely cut off such toxic relationships for good.

Pixel went back towards the topic she had been wanting to bring up the most. "So eager to seize what is not yours that you would even go as far as messing with my things too?

Seriously.. how greedy can you people be? Do you honestly believe that everything in this world is yours to take? Sure.. I admit that some minor things of mine may have been granted by the family so technically anything related to the family can be seized back.

The main flaw in such logic is that whatever I had been granted for start up anything of my own had already been expanded way beyond what had been given. They exist through my own merit and not due to the Meridian family."

Pixel continued to peer into the raging eyes of the woman who was the mother of her two youngest siblings. "You will get everything you deserve."

Pixel felt great anger towards her for the things she had done and attempted to accomplish once she was given a brief moment of freedom.

Upon being released and being granted freedom to act, she was very fast to begin isolating the other mothers of the main bloodline.

Pixel's own mother was cut off from the rest of the household just like the other mothers and was treated like she did not exist at the orders of Cleo and Milo's mother.

No food and other goods were supplied to each of the mothers of each child.

If they were left along for long enough then they would either starve to death or would try to revolt resulting in them being forced into worse conditions.

Any support they had was cut off along with their contact with their families or outside activities like businesses.

Small groups were sent to some businesses and locations owned by the main bloodline heirs with the seized books containing the logs of the ingoing and outgoing wealth.

Deeds of land and businesses were included in the documents so unless one of the mothers had been able to securely hide them all, they had been taken away to be made use of.

It resulted in harassment from the guards sent to those businesses and major disruptions to business as they had to give in to various demands.

During the time that Pixel had returned to Zou, she had already heard about what had taken place within the family and how her own mother had been suffering.

Luckily there were people who had chosen to watch over her mother from the shadows to prevent further harm to her while providing some minor things they snuck in for her.

If it had not been for them then Pixel may have returned to witness her mother being in a very poor state.

Upon hearing about such treatment towards her mother, Pixel was greatly angered but had to wait until the timing was right for herself to show up.

Just as ordered, the remaining living shadow guards had provided protection to her mother and others if anything would ever happen.

If there was going to be any major action taken against her mother and others then it was very likely that it would happen after everything else had been solved within the family and the major announcement was over with.

It worked out in her favour and none of the shadow guards had to expose their presence during that time.

Everything was over but the anger still remained for what her mother had to endure.

Pixel's amber eyes became increasingly colder before returning to their former calm as she had gotten a lot off her chest.

Her footsteps were lighter as she left the screaming mother of Cleo and Milo locked away.

She understood that noble families were full of conflicts and had many horrible things going on in the inside but she still did not agree that using such methods could ever be justified.
