140 Aftermath

After Pixel returned to the family, she was able to reunite with her mother once again and had sent out orders for the other mothers to be released from their forced in

Imprisonment and isolation.

Due to her current status as someone who was temporarily in charge of the families affairs, it became her duty to meet with each mother of the heirs in person in order to tell them the status of each of her siblings.

The mother of Maximillion was left feeling distraught after heading what kind of fate awaited him in the future.

Pixel was able to calm his mother down a small amount with some promises that she and others would try to find him.

It would prove challenging but it was not entirely impossible.

Among her siblings, Maximillion may have had his faults but Pixel would not consider abandoning him to his harsh fate which was to be sold off as a slave.

He did not deserve such treatment and it was something that she did not wish upon anyone.

Pixel continued to visit the mother of Felice and told her of Felice's current condition and how she would be returning soon.

Since many matters were being resolved and the threats were being removed swiftly, it would be safe for Felice to return home.

Pixel was then kept busy with settling the matters related to her businesses in Zou while trying to keep everyone involved compensated for their recent losses and difficulties.

It took a couple more days for the others to receive word of the successful subjugation of the enemy forces which then followed with the preparations for their return.

More time had passed and more were welcomed back onto Zou which was followed by a combined effort of many families to work together on a joint task.

On the edge of Zou which was on the back of the giant elephant named Zunesha, many ropes and harnesses were lowered enough to be difficult to see them much further below.

Some Minks had made an effort to climb down the connected parts in order to secure any loose areas and attach other parts onto it so that it could continue to be lowered and reach the sea below.

Once there had been some progress and enough had reached the sea, a lot of Minks landed on the ship which was the ship Pixel had stolen.

"Fine ship!"

"How fancy"

"It is a shame. I wanted one just like this."

Compared to the many ships built on Zou or brought from other islands by their own kind, the ship that was brought to Zou was one that stood out a lot and could be considered as an excellent ship.

It may not have been the best ship among many ships found in the New World but it was still of a decent quality and would be able to survive on the rough New World seas.

The Minks admired the ship looking around for some time before getting back to their task.

Some began holding onto parts attached to the ropes and harnesses hanging from overhead then dived into the sea dragging them under.

Others continued to do the same as they dived over different sides of the ship and swam underneath it.

They linked up several parts until the ship had been secured properly which followed with them climbing back up leaving a few to stay on the ship and managed to any problems that came up there.

Back on Zunesha was where everyone was given confirmation that the ship had been secured which followed with them beginning to pull on the ropes they held.

"Pull!"

"Use all you got!"

With each display of power from the combined efforts of the Minks, they slowly started to take a step back together before stepping back in and pulling the ropes further into their grasp.

The action was repeated many times as they let out grunts and roars of many different kinds.

The ship that was being hit by the waves and was drifting around the same place near Zunesha had started to lift further out of the sea until the bottom was no longer submerged.

The ship was slowly being pulled higher and higher as time passed until it reached the point where it was very close to reaching the top.

"One final pull!"

Just as they were given the order, the three Dukes had entered to help out along with those who served them which had yet to participate.

Their combined strength caused the force of their pull to cause the ship hanging at the side of Zunesha to suddenly shoot up into the air slightly over Zou until it came crashing down.

The figures of Catviper and Dogstorm both disappeared from their current position and reappeared in the air below the falling ship.

One landed near the bottom front of the ship while the other was at the front both grabbing onto and securing the ship underneath their combined power.

The falling ship was greatly slowed down and was brought under control allowing for the two to fall downward holding it over their heads as they landed.

It was placed down onto the ground while a figure came up to its side for a moment.

It was Micah who had returned along with the others and he had wasted no time as he took the opportunity to appreciate the ship up close. "Not bad indeed."

He turned towards Pixel who had stood nearby and asked. "You really do not mind?"

Pixel shook her head. "Take it. Do what you must. Make it so that nobody would ever be able to recognise it as the same ship. Just make sure to let me know when you are done or if you need help."

Micah grinned happily as he thought to himself. 'All those years tinkering and fixing up whatever Jessie and James was using in their schemes will really come in handy. I am finally able to put my skills to use. Hehehe.'
