There were times when they had much lower funds so they had to build their own or fix up broken equipment to be made use of once more.

James was talented in that area but Meowth was considered as quite skilled too.

It was even more impressive since Meowth was a Pokémon and it was already very rare for a Pokémon to learn human languages.

Being able to learn many other skills as Meowth had significantly helped to increase his knowledge and abilities to the point where he could already be considered as a genius among the Minks in those specific areas.

That was his state before he was reborn as a Meowth Mink so his intellect and other aspects could only continue to improve within his new body as it grew up and as he continued to work on different projects of his own.

If it had not been for the restrictions of the family competition then he would have had many things to make use of in order to keep himself and others safe.

Upon seeing the ship being dragged back to his family home, he grew even more excited of the possibilities he could bring to such a ship after being given free rein to change it as he pleased.

All that was asked of him was to have it back up and running in a usable state within a set period of time.

If he ran into any manpower or financial troubles then he just needed to ask Pixel to help out.

Various ideas came to mind after thinking back to his previous life and the various vehicles he had a chance to fix up or study the structure of which included submarines, ships and many other things that were on sea, land or air.

All he lacked was the materials and something to use as the foundation for such ideas to be built upon.

Having a ship that previously belonged to the Marines in such a good condition was more than he could have asked for.

He was not the only one who had some ideas of their own and had come to Pixel upon returning.

Upon returning home to the Meridian family, Felice was seated at the table her grandfather once sat at as the head of the family.

She had a complicated look on her face and looked over many documents containing areas that would need repairing if the family was going to recover from everything that had taken place.

Many areas that were being maintained by the families previous power and her grandfather had been left with many places that would remain stagnant unless she found suitable replacements for such positions.

There may have been many issues with the Meridian family if they continued their current path so Felice had started to think about some other plans.

The Meridian family was very lacking in political power even when they had such an important task within Zou so they had nobody to rely on during major difficulties.

If it had not been for Pixel then the family would have been destroyed with nobody lifting a finger to help.

Even her own efforts to forge ties with other families had been useless in the end however that did not affect her decision of continuing to pursue such relationships.

It just meant that she was making allies but not powerful or useful enough allies who could provide greater support.

Felice looked across the room beyond her desk and asked. "Can it be done?"

Pixel finished reading the plan that Felice had written up and answered. "It could work. If that is what the head of the family has decided then simply give the order."

Felice nodded in response before raising her voice a little. "Then make the preparations."

Pixel bowed slightly. "It shall be done. I will handle the difficult work while you order the others to begin the rest of it. Do you really think something like this can be of help?"

Felice shrugged displaying her helplessness. "I cannot say for sure. I just know that we cannot keep up what we once did after losing so much."

Pixel smiled in response and left some final words. "We cannot know for sure if we have been at a complete loss. Not everything has been settled with the other families yet. That could play a big part in helping recover our losses."

Her figure vanished as she disappeared from the room with a flash leaving Felice to look over the rest of the reports related to the overall damage to their family.
