The future of Africa

----Phil POV----

I brought the team back to the base and soon others also came back.

"I met a weird old lady. She was able to shoot some sort of energy shield via her hands. Taking her down was not easy but she was controlling major drug operations in China.

She used kids, blind kids, and trained them in some sort of maze inside the factory. Kids will make the drugs, transport them and brought the money back. I don't think they were born blind Phil.

I don't know what to do with them. Any Idea?" Rogers was the one to come back first and looking at his expression I think it's better to deal with his problem first.

"Ask the knights to bring the kids here. They need time to heal and deserve a better life. I can't fix their eyes now but we don't know about the future. Anyway, then can spend time here and I kind of miss the kids at the base." I told him simply and then waited for others to come.

"Woah! It seems I am not the last! Had to put enough bullets in a Japanese ninja. We lost three knights but the magic guys helped. It was nothing special but they were hiding on an Island in Japan and that base has a lot of toys that should not be out there. I am going to take over that base. Any problems Phil?"

Fury came second and asked me a question I knew I didn't have to answer. Just gave him a shake of my head and he gave his iconic grin.

He took all the knights we had in the base and went back with them through his portal. Hope came after Fury and the reason she was late was that she was not sure if she caught a real 'HAND' leader or not. Yes, she caught one of these guys alive without a scratch.

Her captured prisoner 'Alexandra Reid' was actually taking a spa and when Hope came out of the portal, she was facing a situation of a single naked middle-aged lady taking spa while she had brought a team of knights along with her.

There was no fight, no drama. She just shot her with her Tranquillizer gun and then checked anything that she can find. After confirming with sorcerers, she had to wash and dress this woman first before bringing her back.

I just wanted to torture this woman to calm my burning heart but I kept my calm. Let the final guy come.

When Bucky came back it was another situation. He had to fight someone expert in hand to hand combat and that guy was in New York in a Dojo. Yes, Dojo, teaching kids how to fight.

When Bucky attacked him, this guy took these kids hostage and only after an intense chase and fight, Bucky was forced to shoot this guy through the head. The sorcerers had no way to participate in this fight and the knights just took over the dojo. There was a lot of cash in the basement and information about several locations.

In the end, the knights were sent by bucky to these locations to capture and burn down all operatives there and with the help of space portals, it became easy.

"Everyone, I met an African warlord - 'Sowande'. He was hiding in Africa and I believe he was responsible for arranging mass sacrifice of kids needed for the leaders of Hand. I saw bodies of kids, dead and offered to the dark dimension where their souls will be tortured for eternity.

No god or power can bring those souls back. All because these five bastards wanted to be immortal. I am going to meet the sorcerer supreme and will come back shortly. In the meantime, Rogers will be back with some blind kids. Arrange them properly.

Also, keep this bitch alive. Until I hear screams tonight, I don't think I will be able to sleep properly. " I told the group who were present and asked a nearby sorcerer to open a portal for Kamar Taj.

I was beyond angry at this point. What the fuck kind of sorcerer supreme you are if you can't even save helpless kids souls from the dark dimension.

"Hello, Master Phil. I assume there were some problems with the mission?" The ancient one was sitting and meditating peacefully while levitating in the air and gave a serene smile. Looking at her smiling peaceful face, I lost it.

"Boom!" I punched her smug face hard! "Did you know about the kids? Tell me, yes or no? or I promise ancient or not, I will smash your head like a watermelon right here!"

"Wait" She tried to maintain her balance after my punch. I literally blasted her across the room and I think whatever the future she saw, that punch was not part of it.

"Contrary to popular belief, I am not omniscient, master Phil! I am not sure why you are so angry and what are you talking about!" She clarified.

"Then ask your sorcerers who went with me and check with the fucking time stone! I want answers to this." I said while kicking her fucking tea set and going back to my base.

The sorcerer on the other side was like a man seeing a ghost and he saw everything that happened. Ancient one gestured him to come to her side and he bowed to us and left.

"I think our ancient one will need some time for any good answer. In the meantime, I hope everyone can discuss the future of Africa. With so many weapons and warlords and basically no government with a strong army, it will be genocide there.

Kids and Women will be the first victims and men will be forced to become a killer or will be killed. We can choose not to participate in this and act like nothing is happening or we can do something about this.

I leave the decision to everyone here as I don't know how long or what sacrifice will this need."

I told the stunned team members and went towards my home. I needed some alone time. I have spent a lot of time in this world. I enjoyed all the perks and then went through hell for four years in Quantum realm alone but still, I could accept it.

It happens in any comic or story when a hero suddenly gets power but kids are sacrificed to dark dimension in large numbers! The ancient one clearly had no idea about this and somehow this must be a common practice for these 5 bastards to remain immortal.

"I need to do better and improve faster. I cannot sit and wait for main events that I knew will happen in future otherwise what is my purpose of being here!" Thinking these thoughts I entered my home. Melina was making something in the kitchen.

I hugged her tightly and after so many years, I think I felt very weak today.

"Just stay like this for some time. I need you right now!" I whispered in her ears and she switched off the gas. We stayed like that for a long time before I could feel calm enough to move again.

-----Ancient One POV----

That was uncalled for I think. That fucking hurt. I was punched after a long long time and it could not be avoided. I think I got pretty used to facing enemies with magic that I forgot to keep my awareness against friends too.

"Tell me what happened and go in detail as much as possible" I ordered the sorcerer who was with Phil.

It took no more than 20 minutes for him to explain everything in detail and after that, I personally went to the jungles of Africa to confirm.

"Lunatic! Monsters in human skin! How could we not notice this!" I felt the rage and shame now. I saw through the time and I saw the bodies and rituals on the ground. Those dead kids and their souls! They didn't deserve this. This time I did not even notice the ritual. Clearly, something is either wrong with me or the protection circle around the earth! I must check!
