Chapter 14: The Oni vs The World's Strongest

"Raaaaahhhh!!!!" Sanemi roared as his blade clashed with Shirohige's creating a giant shockwave blowing the people in the surrounding away.

"Gurarara you are quite good brat, now then let's get serious" Shirohige said as Murakumogiri got covered in infused Armament and Conqueror's haki creating golden sparks around it.

"Heeh" Sanemi just let out a huge grin in response as his blade too got covered in infused Armament and Conqueror's haki creating a crimson red glow.

"Yaaarrrrrrhhh" Goth of them grunted as thier haki clashed destroying the grounds beneath and splitting the heavens.

"Yaaaahhhhhh!" The match of the will did not end there and continued as even the tips of their blades refused to touch. The ground below gave up as a huge creator was formed.

"This is...your captain is scary~," Marco said as he dodged some veins with his aerobatic skills.

"Stay still, Petal dance" Rosita muttered as veins around her grew red roses and then the petals shot towards Marco.

"Huaah" Marco yelped a little as he weaved between the petal rain and then made a beeline towards Rosita with his foot out in the hybrid form.

"Pheonix stamp!" Marco said out loud as his foot got covered in rainbow flames as he stomped towards Rosita's face.

"Thorn covering" Rosita muttered as vines with sharp thorns grew from her upper body clothes to block Marco's kick.

"It is as the captain said your flames cannot burn," Rosita said as she thrust her spear in order to pierce Marco.

"Yare yare~ what troublesome bunch of pirates, " Marco said with a huge grin as the spear passed through him, and he took the opportunity to create some distance between.

"Would you look at that, the captain left all the work to us again" Otto said as he blocked Vista's blade and used his fruit powers to create a snowstorm to deal with Thatch.

"What do you say wanna have a date after this?" Otto asked as he pushed Vista away and performed and kicked him away for a good measure. He then twirled as he sliced Rakuyo's fail and then punched his face.

"I would rather die" Mary replied as she punched Atmos's belly and blocked Haruto's blade with her arms covered in Armament haki.

"Aww don't be like that" Otto said as hands turned into snow and created a huge snowstorm that engulfed Thatch and Vista and blew them away.

Suddenly both of thier bodies shook a little as they stared up towards the skies only to find it parted from Sanemi and Shirohige's clash.

"I knew that captain was strong but...this is truly another level" Mary muttered.

"You haven't seen captain angry before then, things for worse than just a little cloud parting" Otto replied.

"But they are ready to fight again" Otto continued as the Shirohige division captains stood up with some difficulty.

"Can't handle your own captains haki? aren't you guys rather incompetent" Otto said as he twirled his blade.

"Unlike your captain pop's haki grows stronger every time he faces someone " Namur replied as everyone got ready to start the second round.

Two verses fourteen division commanders the battle to be remembered for ages to come has now gone to its final phase.

"Raaaaahh" Sanemi roared as he and Shiroge clashed weapons each showing thier mastery of skills as the blades twirled in thier hands.

"Haaa!" With a grunt, Sanemi performed a horizontal slash as Shirohige parried it with his Armament coated hand and then sliced towards Sanemi using Murakumogiri.

Seeing the slash Sanemi flipped back as he put his blade over his shoulders and he got ready to continue.

"You are quite good brat, what is your name?" Shirohige asked as stared towards Sanemi.

"Sanemi...and it is time we take to the next level," Sanemi said as his blade glowed and disappeared but was replaced by a Katana and a Cutlass.

"Those are..." Shirohige's eyes widened as he recognized the blades in Sanemi's hands.

The Katana had a purple hilt along with a golden flower-shaped pattern that ended with a golden guard which was designed as three swirls meeting at a point.

The cutlass on the other hand seemed quite classic with a katana-like blade but with a golden hilt and guard.

These were a few of the remaining blades in Sanemi's inventory Enma and Ace.

Sanemi then started to take a different stance. Ace in his right arm making a ninety-degree angle above his head with its blade pointed to the skies. Enma on his left arm making a similar ninety-degree angle but parallel to his chest and its blade pointing outwards.

'Oden...' Shirohige thought as he saw a vague shadow-person behind Sanemi.

"Oden-Nitōryū!" Sanemi exclaimed as he took the stance and then rushed towards Shirohige.

"Truly what an annoying brat" Shirohige muttered with a smile that turned into a grin as Murakumogiri got covered in Armament haki and a pale white air bubble.

"Haaah!" Thier blades clashed again as the world stopped. Air in front of Sanemi started to crack and then shattered creating a strong shockwave. Sanemi created crystals to hold his legs and the in the momentum performed a Recoiless Ground Drawer towards Shirohige's hands.

Shirohige seeing this coated his hand in Armament haki and tanked the kick and twirled Murakumogiri like a feather in his other hand and slashed towards Sanemi.

Seeing the oncoming slash Sanemi tried to back away but the crystals he created to position himself came in between causing him to take a slash across his chest but he managed to get out before anything fatal.

"Don't try to look down on me Brat!" Shirohige yelled as he did not stop and continued his assault on Sanemi with Murakumogiri.

"My bad, my bad, I thought for sure that old age was going to get you," Sanemi said with a grin as Enma and Ace got covered in a golden shine. Similarly Shirohige's blade Murakumogiri also got covered in a pale white shine.

"Haaaaaaa!" Both of their clash but now with their full power of Haki and Devil Fruit on display.

The ground trembled as clouds filled the skies. A thunderstorm raged and the clash of the Conqueror's truly began.

"Get ready we are going to end this quick" Sakazuki said as stated towards the island surrounded by thunderstorms. There were large waves of tremors emitting from the island but it somehow was still standing. Other than the thunderstorms and tremors clashes of golden and pale white light could be observed.

"Without any plans...Akainu-sama it could be fatal..." Momounga said as he advised for a plan to be made.

"Shirohige is nothing but reminiscent of the past and Sanemi is nothing but an overestimated brat we have faced stronger foes while being a vice-admiral," Sakazuki said as the marine warships approached the island.

"It started to snow?" Balmenco muttered as he saw snow covering the area.

"On guard! it's Otto's ability he can camouflage in a snowstorm" Curile yelled as every whitebeard division captain flared their observation haki.

"I can't sense him at all!" Izou yelled as he got his guns ready to fire once he spots Otto or Mary.

"Can't sense nature apart now can we ?" Otto's voice came from thier surrounding as he appeared behind Curile and then covered him from head to toe in snow sealing him for the time being.

"Haaaaaaaa" Juzo yelled as he turned his right arm into diamond and rammed towards Otto.

"Your fighting style is too rash!" Mary's voice came from Juzo's back as she took a stance similar to Sanemi as performed a palm attack on Juzo's un-covered part.

"Full Contact Karate: Elder Blue Dragon" Mary yelled as all the moment Juzo had built was converted into a shockwave which threw him away to quite some distance.

"Wait so captain did teach you his martial arts," Otto said as he formed beside Mary.

"Indeed as every parent has a favorite child, every captain has a favorite commander" Mary replied as she got in basic Full Contact Karate Stance.

"ouch! didn't have to do me like that, besides we are having some nuisance coming " Otto said as stared off at the sea.

"Are you not worried about your fellow crewmates?" Marco asked as he weaved through vines and torn projectiles.

"Unlike you, I know they are going to win" Rosito replied as she continued her assault.

'According to the captain as long as he is distracted the rest should be easy work. Among the Shirohige pirates, he is the most annoying one.' Rosito thought to herself and then sent another wave of roots to assault Marco.

"How truly annoying" Marco muttered with his ever-present smile and then swooped towards Rosita.

Rosita's eyes widened as she did not expect an assault after believing she was the one who had Marco cornered.

"You are too relaxed to be on a battlefield yoi~," Marco said as his forehead covered in Armament haki rushed towards Rosita to give a headbutt.

Just as Marco's head was inches away from Rosita's her surprised face turned into a smirk as the flower on her headband glowed blue and released peculiar spores.

"You are too relaxed to be on a battlefield" Rosita repeated Marco's words as she kicked Marco away.

'The hell was that...I...I can't focus...' Marco thought to himself as he wobbled a little and tried to look towards Rosita but everything seemed blurry to him.

'It was as captain said spores would be more effective than wound but nevertheless, as a doctor, he should be able to heal the root of the problem soon' Rosita thought as she joined her hands in a praying position as thick roots appeared all around Marco and encased him, as a layer of Armament covered them.

'Now I just need to hold for captain's signal. ' Just as Rosita's thoughts were finished the whole island started to tremble.

'Captain's haki...he is really going all out for this one...I hope he is safe.' Rosita thought as she stared towards the epicenter of the tremors.

"You mind if you let me out?" Maroc's voice came from the closure.

"pretty please?" Marco asked again as he tried to break wood but they were covered in Armament haki.

'He recovered already...as expected of the first division commander' Rosita mentally praised Maro and flared her observation haki to keep an eye on him.

Sounds of metal clashing the roaring thunder echoed as Sanemi and Shirohige clashed their blades. Their body now displayed fresh sars they got from fighting each other.

"Gurararara what do you say brat. Do you want to become my son?" Shirohige asked clearly impressed by Sanemi's skill and how he reminded him of Oden and his younger pirate days.

"I have spent time with my father doesn't really work out" Sanemi replied as he continued to clash with Shirohige.

"Besides...we are going to have some company," Sanemi said as he and Shirohige dropped their stance and stared towards the sea only to see multiple ships heading their way.

"these marines sure have grown a pair since last few years" Shirohige commented.

"After the death of Gold Roger, they sure have arrogant" Sanemi replied with his blades casually on his shoulders.

"Gol D. Roger," Shirohige said.

"huh?" Sanemi looked towards Shirohige with a confused expression.

"his name was Gol D. Roger, Ace the cutlass you bear now was once his prized possession," Shirohige said as he let out a feral grin.

"Sanemi, take your crew and leave, let me show them why I am called the world's strongest," Shirohige said as he clenched Murakumogiri's handle.

"As if I would let you have all the fun old man, besides you look like you are going to die tomorrow," Sanemi said as he too got ready.

"Old man, eh, well then you owe this old man favor, with most of your crew down and the disadvantage in numbers Oni Pirates will surely fall" Shirohige commented about the fewer numbers of Sanemi's crew.

"Oi, Oi, Oi are you looking down on my crew? Old man, I have made sure to train them and have the most exceptional men on board! " Sanemi said as he got ready to argue.

"Gurararara! of course, I am looking down on your crew, after all, I am the World's strongest," Shirohige said as he boasted about himself.

"brat now leave with your crew...consider this a favor from the world's strongest you can repay it when start drinking milk from the bottle," Shirohige said.

"Old man..." Sanemi said as he clenched his blades.

'he is right both of my fruit using commanders have a weakness against that Akainu' Sanemi thought as he used his observation haki to sense the people on the marine warship.

'Not before the last screw you' Sanemi thought as he sheathed both of the blades and grabbed the air in front of him.

"Haaaah" Sanemi roared as he pulled the air creating massive shockwaves in the direction of the marine warships causing disarray among them and destroying thier formation.

"I do not simply forget such favors," Sanemi said as he walked off to collect his crew and leave.

'Truly worthy being Conqueror, let's see how you will shake up this new sea brat' Shirohige said as he let out a huge grin.
