Chapter 13: War Begins!

"I knew that there were clues about it everywhere...but to think that this would indeed be true...this world is really not what meets the eye," Sanemi muttered as saw the items that were in front of him incased in sparkling clear ice.

Five years have gone by since Sanemi's battle with the once marine admiral Black Arm Zepher and many things in the world have taken a huge turn.

Former Fleet Admiral Kong was now promoted to the ranks of World Government Commander in Chief and now is in charge of commanding multiple fronts and making the connection of marines and the World Government.

Sengoku the Buddha was now the new Fleet Admiral along with three new admirals, Sakazuki who holds the moniker Akainu, Kuzan who holds the moniker Aokiji, and Borsalino who holds the moniker Kizaru.

Along with the new promotion of the Admirals, the marines have now started the warlord system. The Warlord system is where the government recruited seven powerful pirates with relatively 'clean' records to protect civilians and help them in combat against the pirates in response they will allow their actions to continue legally.

Dracule Mihawk also known as Hawkeye and who holds the title of the world's greatest swordsmen as a single man unit is also part of this warlord system.

Other names include Boak Hancock the Pirate Queen, Donquixote Doflamingo the Heavenly Deamon, Crocodile the Desert King, Gecko Moria the Necromancer, Bartholomew Kuma the Tyrant, Jinbei the Knight of Sea.

The warlord system was implemented by the marines to combat against the four pirates who had been granted the title Yonko whit every single one of them having a bounty of over four billion berries. The names include Charlotte Linlin leader of the Big Mom pirates, Divine King Sol D. Horus leader of the Tomb Pirates, King of the Beasts Kaido leader of the Beast Pirates, and Edward Newgate the strongest man alive leader of the Shirohige pirates!

But the Yonko was not the sole reason for the implementation of the warlord system by the world government and marines.

"About five years ago Sanemi the Red Oni went missing for about two years but then he made his sudden appearance with a new boat and a new crew. A stronger crew" Sengoku said as the rest of the people in the meeting narrowed their eyes towards the bounties on the table.

"He did a hostile takeover and took over 'Rising Sun' Island and a few others. His crew now has expanded to over six thousand men including 3 division captains.

Mary Rosita the Gardner leader of the first division, and his vice-captain is the user of the mythical zoan: Human-Human fruit model: Dryad.

Otto Puck the Snowflake is the leader of the second division and is the user of a logia devil fruit: Snow-Snow fruit.

Anne Read the Blitz is the only one confirmed to not use any fruit powers but has incredible close combat skills and is known for her speed.

And last but not least Sanemi the Red Oni himself who leads the whole fleet has the mythical zoan: Fish-Fish fruit model: Namazu. " Sengoku said as he folded his arms.

"The problems we face mainly are him and his crew they have been roaming the seas for three years and yet we can't raise a single berry on his head because of the orders from the world government, they want him alive no matter what. It took two years for them to budge enough to add Dead or Alive in his bounty. " Sengoku continued as everyone in the room had their eyes shadowed.

As the higher-ups of the marines with the ranks of Vice-Admirals, Admirals, and Fleet Admiral they know quite clearly that it is the world government who truly controls the marines.

"Recently their demand of wanting him increased even more...it seems that even Vegapunk himself is now interested in researching on Sanemi's body, the only thing stopping them is their public appearance nothing less nothing more," Sengoku said as he gripped the table.

"Arara~ Sengoku-san we already know how powerless we are in this matter, but what is the reason for this meeting? " Kuzan asked as put his palms under his chin.

"It would be a war...I have recently got the news that he is going to challenge Shirohige for his title as the World's Strongest...no matter who wins our job is to locate the place with high tectonic activity and capture Sanemi the Red Oni after the battle ends" Sengoku said as he released a heavy sigh.

"We have to make sure that under no circumstances is Sanemi is killed or injured too heavily. " Sengoku said as everyone in the room glanced at the bounty papers.

"Well, the Sengoku-san who are going in this battle?" Kizaru asked in a lazy tone as he pushed back his glasses.

"Team for this mission is going to be called the Team Steady Stal it will consist of Admiral Akainu, seven vice admirals chosen by him, and 10 rear-admirals also chosen by him. " Sengoku said as everyone looked at Sakazuki.

"Very well Sengoku-san I will select the members and tell you the list by tomorrow morning, I presume that this meeting is ending now? " Sakazuki said in a hoarse voice.

"Indeed the meeting is dismissed!" Sengoku said as everyone started to leave except Garp.

Silence surrounded the room as an ominous feeling tingles Sengoku's nose hair.

"I feel a little relieved now~," Garp said as he let out another fart.

"GARP!" Sengoku yelled at the top of his voice, in nothing but pure rage and hatred.

"Captain are you sure about this..." A woman said in a whisper-like voice.

The woman had long white hair that reached her waist and pale skin complexion this was paired with two perfect-sized breasts and plump bottom.

She was wearing a headband made from nines topped with some fresh-looking flowers. She was wearing what seemed to be a mixture of leaves, armor plates, and vines as her top along with a long skirt made up of a leafy design.

"More than I have ever been, I am going to challenge Shirohige...either we will become a future Yonko crew or will just try again," Sanemi replied.

"I am not asking about that...I was asking are you sure you don't want to have sex with me? " Rosita asked as she pulled his hands.

"Nope. Too much responsibility for a man like me." Sanemi replied as he stretched.

"humph," Rosita pouted as he turned around.

"you will eventually crave into your desires" Rosita muttered as she left.

"That is the fourth time you rejected her you know? " A masculine voice came as a man descended from the observer's tower.

The man had dark blue hair and a dark skin complexion he had a slender swimmer-like body.

He was wearing a black tank top with an open blue and short jacket that also had a white fur-like extension near the collar. He also had pair of fingerless gloves with spikes near the wrists, icy blue diamond-shaped earrings.

"Are you saving your virginity for someone special?" He continued as he pulled out a flask.

"Not that it would matter to a drunkard like you but I prefer not to answer," Sanemi responded as he stared off in the sky.

"Whatever you say captain I just hope it's not for you bro-" Before Otto could finish his sentence his face was smacked by a rock.

"As I said before you talk too much," Sanemi said as multiple rocks floated around him.

"Itai~" Otto whispered as he rubbed his head and looked up only to see eight others headed for him.

"Wait why are they black" Was all Otto could say out loud as he was knocked out again.

"Seriously Captain and Otto-sama are at it again," One of Sanemi's crew members said as everyone watched Sanemi hurl stones covered in haki towards Otto.

"They are always like this...well better get back to work we have a big whale to fight in due time," Another of his man said as he prepared for the night.

"Well, it's a good thing Captain had ours named Black Pearl, not Moby Dick" Another one commented.

"Well there is not much you can name a ship entirely black in color." another commented.

"How about eternal darkness?" the first guy replied.

"Doom Bringer!"

"Dark Miasma?"

"Yo that sounds kinda cool"

And hence the discussion of possible names for the plack pearl continued as the night went on.

Sanemi was sitting there on his bed as his hands glowed and a plate of dango appeared on them.

'perfect, round and sweet' Sanemi thought as he snacked on them and then prepared to sleep.

Sanemi sat on his bed as he stomped lightly on the ground as golden crystals covered the door.

"Oh come on I was not gonna do anything tonight" Rosita's voice came from outside

"You presence states otherwise go to sleep Rosita," Sanemi said as he removed his top garments and went to sleep himself.

"Captain it's Black Pearl! It's heading towards us!" A man a spy glasses yelled out loud.

"Black Pearl? the hell is that?" A Gaint man who had a few medical pieces of equipment connected asked.

"Black Pearl...it is the ship covered in nothing but black paint from its head to toe and is the current vassal of Sanemi the Red Oni...he is the one who was quite famous for having a bounty above two billion but only was needed alive. Also, he is the son of Kaido. " A man with orange pineapple hair informed the giant.

"So the brat of that brat...coming towards us? Let's see what he is bringing to the table but if he is related to that brat his first words should be-"

"Shirohige! I am here to challenge you for the title of the strongest!" Sanemi's voice came from the skies as he landed in front of Shirohige along with his division leaders.

"You have guts I will give you that brat," Newgate said in a hoarse voice as he removed the equipment on him as he stood up dwarfing all four of them.

"Captain is it alright that I sign my leave now? " Otto asked.

"you will have to clean the cabinboy's toilets for the oncoming year. " Sanemi replied as he pulled a Red blade from his back.

The blade looked in a very bad condition, it seemed that half of it was sliced and it had many scratches indicating its history of the battle. Along with the blade it had a black, grey, and crimson hilt in the shape of a skull on a cross.

"Haaaaaa!!!" Sanemi roared as he charged towards Shirohige.

A blue blaze came as a bird's paw tried to block Sanemi's charge but was interrupted by a few vines.

"I will take on you, let the captains do as they please" Rosita muttered as she pulled out a spear.

"You gotta be kidding me yoi~" Marco muttered with a smile.

While Sanemi and Rosita were busy with Shirohige and Marco respectively Mary and Otto too were busy fighting the rest of the division captains as the rest of the Red Oni pirates too joined the fray the battle turned into an all-out war.
