ch.20: first day of tour

So it was the night before tour and I have never been so nervous, but I did get my first tattoo and it didn't hurt much. But I wasn't going to cry like a little bitch. But I did get that one and I had to get one that was a different meaning, so yesterday I left work early, and I found a closer one, and I went there and I got these lyrics on my shoulder, ' i'm not your puppet, so cut the strings and free my from your hands.' I really like it because I have been through hell and when my mom was still here she was I want to put this nicely but I can't. So she was brainwashed, and well I got out of the web of lies, and well I wasn't going to stand there and be a fake lying puppet like my mother. But I do and still love her no matter what.

So I had to finish packing and well I have been keeping in touch with violet and she is my manager now. But we are super good friends. But I got my bags packed and I was going to take my moms car. And the reason for it was I felt like she was going to be going on tour with me. And I just wish and hope I could see her one last time.

Next morning

So I woke up and I was super fucking happy, this was the first day of tour. And I am super freaking happy, and also so this was going to be super fun. But I already packed my bags and equipment, but violet is my manager so I am bringing her with. But she and I have become more and more close. But she said that she used to own a tattoo shop and it was passed down to her by her family.

But she doesn't have any but a lot of piercings. And I was telling her that my dad would not let me get any so that is going to change. And I have been wanting a septum piercing and spider bites. She said that she knew her friend has a little skill with it and she said that we might be able to stop by her, on tour. So one thing really quick I have been keeping in touch with my dad. And a few places for tour are one Los angels then Nevada then I forgot the others until Chicago, and then I think we go to pennsylvania after that. But I will have to ask.

But for now I got dressed into my red skinny jeans and a slipknot tank top. And I threw on a pair of flip flops. But I knew I wasn't going to go far but I had to pick up violet and I went to my car and I told Kelly, " hey Kelly see you in two months." She knew I was going to go on tour with them and she was a huge fan of asking. But I got to my car and I called violet and said, " hey violet, I am going to come pick you up I am on my way please be ready." So I told her that and well it took me ten minutes to get over to her house and she lived two blocks over from my apartment building. But I will skip to the first venue.

Los Angeles

So we got to the first venue and we were still in Los Angeles. And we got to this venue and it was really huge but I saw that they guys were already there and well I haven't told them about my past yet, and plus I am wondering how they will react when I tell them I was put through hell. But I parked my car and me and violet flooded out and I grabbed my two guitars and a amp. But we walked in and I set my stuff down and I forgot when it was but I think we had sound check in a hour.

But I was thinking about the graveyard shift album and I just started to hum a little to necessary evil. It is my second favorite. Song off the track. But I was then ripped away, by someone tapping my shoulder. I looked behind me and saw cc and jinxx. I smiled and said, " hi guys. How's everything?" They smiled and cc said, " good so you ready for tonight?" I looked down and said, " yes and no. I am just nervous as fuck." They laugh and said, " don't worry you will do great."

I started to open my guitar case and it was my blue guitar and jinxx asked, " when did you get that?" I was confused and I forgot I was wearing a tank top. So I wanted to see how long it took. But I said, " got what?" Cc smiled and said, " your shoulder?" I look down and said, " that is nothing." Then jinxx said, " you sure it doesn't look like nothing?" I giggled a little and said, " well it is just a little ink don't worry. Besides at least I have a memory."

Then I think it was Sam that came over and I grabbed my guitar and I smiled, " why you so smiley?" Sam asked me, and I said, " nothing I just am glad that I still have this." I motioned to my guitar, " it looks nice when did you get it?" Jinxx asked me. " I have had this one since my freshman year of highschool. And to be exact this is my first guitar." I put the strap over my shoulder, and pushed it behind my back.

But I then said, " so what's up?" Cc said, " so, how's everything?" I laughed and said, " cc didn't I ask you that already?" He nodded and I rolled my eyes and said, " good. Also when do we have to play or what is the set list?" They shrugged their shoulders, and I went to find violet, I told them, " I am gonna go find violet. But I will see you guys later." I waved by and walked away with my guitar.

So I found violet after a while and she was talking to I think a guy who works with either asking or brides. But I went over to violet and said, " excuse me, hey violet I have to ask you a tiny question." She then said, " okay bye. Yeah haley?" I then replied, " do you know what the setlist is?" She nodded, " yeah you go on after Juliet. Also what songs are you playing tonight?"

I didn't think that far. So I said, " I do not know. Shit?" She laughed and said, " start thinking about that and try to practice." I nodded, and went outside. So I grabbed my notebook and tried to think but I texted vi, and she already was a step ahead, she said five songs. So that means I could possibly do a few of my songs and I forgot that violet said she plays drums.

So that helps a lot, but I thought I could play a few of my songs and one cover. But after a while I figured it out and this is my song list for tonight.

So I love New Year's Day so I haven't listened to them in a while but I thought of it and well I wanted to play that tonight but I have been trying to write more and more songs but I keep coming up with a blank. But I practiced a little and well I do have a slightly good memory, but I do remember my songs a lot.

But I did have to go back to my car for my outfit for tonight. But I went back and I looked through my bags and I had to bring my one pair of boots with. I love them so much. But they are super comfy. But I grabbed that and I found my black skinny jeans and my motionless in white shirt. I love it. But I was going to do my makeup a little different and my hair grows like a weed, so my side grew out finally.

But I am definitely going to die it once we get back from tour. But it was almost time and I headed back inside. But I saw violet and black veil. But I think that I would be a idiot.
