Chapter 4

Norrev pulled Adhalia to safety and told her to stop looking, but alas it is too late since Adhalia face is now pale from seeing the crew gruesome death.

Norrev shout to Adhalia amidst the crowd to hold his hand as he makes his way to the exit of the mall. but as they arrived at the entrance of the mall they saw that it is packed with other people that they can barely move with people shouting slurs at each other to move faster.

While Norrev was thinking what to do he saw Adhalia looking at him with tearful eyes.

'Poor girl she has to be in this position' making his mind he went back with her and goes to the upper floor to see the situation on the evolved, perhaps the danger is dealt with.

As he was running he felt that he can't feel Adhalia hand anymore, looking back he could see that Adhalia is looking at him with a tearful eyes.

"Br..other nor please ho..ld up i can't run with high heels."

"Ah i'm sorry i should've known that but got caught up with the situation", as i said that i helped her to take off the high heels and carry them.

As we both make our way back to the evolved but at the second floor what we see is pure chaos, both of the dead crew member are attacking the civilians with the evolved in the middle biting on the security guards.

'Are they like zombies?' i thought but they should need an infection from some source which should be the evolved but he is fine before having those tattoo vine on his arms.

'Is it the unknown creature inside the stone? but from what i knew they disappear when someone used the stone.'

"Watch out!!" someone on the opposite of us screamed.

WUSHHH!!!

I saw something went pass one of the civilian on the second floor before he collapse to the floor.

As me and Adhalia run to the collapsed person we saw a pool of blood, i told Adhalia to close her eyes and wait for me there before i go to the person alone, from what i can see there was a metal pipe sticking out of the person on the heart.

'Shit did that evolved throw the metal pipe with insane accuracy and power?' I thought as I ran back to Adhalia and told her we should be moving upwards again to avoid being thrown metal pipes.

Going to the escalator we saw an influx of people going from the entrance to the second floor while shouting, peeking below what i could see was just people biting each other in chaos, i even saw a child who was screaming for his mother while she is defending herself from 2 of those creature.

"HEY HELP US!!" there was a group of young men probably from a baseball team who were holding back the creature from entering the second floor with their baseball bat while shouting to nearby civilians to help them.

Seeing those creature running up the escalator while feeling the sweat on my arms holding Adhalia led me to a decision.

A decision to run upstair.

'What are they even doing, with the amount of people still getting in a fight with the creature on the first floor they won't be able to hold the escalator with that few people.'
