Chapter 6: A Month's Progress

A/N: For people that wanna know about the world's and girl's stuff I mentioned in the beginning of last chap, everything is in auxiliary chaps.

And yes, this chapter is more of a filler/side chapter in order to show MC's new stats and etc before the exam.

Waiting outside the replica for the practical exam, Yuuto decided it was time to show off his 30 (31 including today) day progress:

Thanks to doing the daily quest this morning right before the exam, Yuuto also had a back-up [Full Recovery] if needed.

Having 180 free stat points now, it was finally time for him to use them:

'Wow, such perfect numbers...' Yuuto teared up a little. Thought he wasn't diagnosed with OCD or anything, he preferred having nice, even numbers.

Looking at the amount of mystery boxes, Yuuto started cackling mentally and releasing a menacing aura causing all the students to step away from him a little bit.

Using his mind to press yes, another message popped up concerning the boxes.

With absolutely zero hesitation, the [xALL] button was pressed.

'Well damn, that's a lot' He thought. He knew 58 was gonna be a lot, but damn, maybe he should start opening them more often rather than stockpiling this much.

Ignoring the presence of everyone, and forgetting the fact that there was an exam that was soon to begin most likely, Yuuto opened his inventory and looked at the items - the important ones - one by one.

[Skill Runestone: Stealth]

[This skill allows the user to camouflage with his surroundings and hide all traces of presence, essentially turning himself both physically and magically invisible]

Taking it out of the inventory, Yuuto quickly broke the Runestone and gained the skill.

Looking back at the inventory, Yuuto read how the [Compressed Water Bottle] was a water bottle with the ability to store up to 50 litres of water without affecting the weight.

'Quite useful'

[A dagger designed to fight against armoured enemies. Deals an extra +25% damage against armoured opponents]

'Well dayum. I'm guessing "Attack" just means strength...? Probably'

The healing and mana potions were self explanatory.

[Nichirin Blade]

[Agility +10]

[Sense +5]

[A sword forged with Scarlet Crimson Iron Sand and Scarlet Ore which is perpetually bathed in sunlight all throughout the year on a certain mountain. As they constantly absorb sunlight, enemies with the weakness of the sun will be in dreadful pain]

'Woah, Extra stats in 3 different stats... I can't tell which one is better' Yuuto thought, undecisive on whether he wanted a lot more strength, or extra stats on multiple.

'The smarter option is multiple stats, right?'

The [Random Martial Arts Skill] was similar to the Skill Runestones - but instead it was a book - where Yuuto had to pull it out of the inventory, use it, and then he would gain something.

Which he did:

Pressing Yes, the book vanished into particles and some new knowledge entered Yuuto's head, followed by multiple System notifications.

[The proclaimed 'ultimate defensive art'. This style involves understanding and re-creating within one's body the flows of torrential and undulating forces, putting this into the user's fists. This style is strongest against humanoid beings]

[Each Stage contain sub-stages, with each having Low, Mid, and High. E.g. Low-Newbie -> Mid-Newbie -> High-Newbie]

'Fucking hell, that's a lot of extra shit that I need to deal with. But hey, atleast this skill sounds useful'

'Specific as hell numbers, but atleast this sword looks cool and has nice stat buffs'

And finally

Breaking the runestone, the 'Ability' was now learnt.

And so, everything from the mystery box was now done.

The stats were updated, the mystery boxes were opened, and now, it was time.

The time for the practical exam.

A/N: Holy. Shit. This chapter used up so much of my brain. Though, it will hopefully be worth it. If there are any mistakes with the newly updated auxiliary chapters such as skills/abilities I forgot to add or whatever, pls tell me and I'll add it.

Everything from this chapter and before is NOW IN AUXILIARY CHAPS.

Next chapter will be end of entrance exam/Training arc, and then the actual plot can start. Once it will start, the system may pop up less probably as I'll obviously be focusing on the plot and whatnot.
