"Pops is he the destiny child?"

Whitebeard look at his side he finds Marcos standing there. He looks at him and asks.

"How is his condition?"

"Nothing serious he will get fully healed in 1 day."

"So where is he?"

"I told him to stay at the ship but he insists to go to shore so I allow him. He find you busy with the party so he left without telling you"

Whitebeard nodded his head. Then he starts looking at the sky. Marcos does not interrupt him but waits at the side without saying anything. After some time Whitebeard speaks.

"No, I don't think he is the destiny child that Roger speaks about."

Marcos becomes shocked and asks.

"Pops but the mermaid princess is supporting him. Even though he is still unknown and he does not do any major thing but still how are you sure that he is not the destiny child."

"I can feel that. He is just like me. He has dreams but not that huge dreams to change the world. His dream is related to only him and the people around him."

Marcos becomes confused after hearing that and he asks.

"Pops then why you made him your student? He must be some fake who is just using mermaid princess."

Whitebeard reply.

"I know that he is using her but he does not mean any harm to the mermaid princess or fishmen island. On contrary, he wants to protect her. The Mermaid Princess has also become very dependent on him. He is also helping her in development."

"Still pops why you make him your student. That is something special and unique.."

Whitebeard thinks for a moment and then speaks.

"Marcos why did you start your journey as a pirate."

"you already know it pops."

"When I think about my journey I also thought that it is a mixture of both luck and hard work. Now let's forget about the destiny child of prophecy for a second and then tell me what you see in Logan."

Marcos thinks for a few mins and then speaks.

" Pops from the first day Logan came to challenge you till today. I see him as someone special. I see a hunger for strength in Logan and I also find odd confidence coming from him. It's like he knows that whatever he is doing is correct. He looks like someone who will make a change to this world to satisfy his hunger."

"Right I also see this odd hunger+confidence in him. We become pirates not because we know some prophecy but because we all have this hunger in ourselves for different things. This hunger drives us this far. I find a hunger larger than myself in him. I feel that he will have the capacity to change the world. It can be in a good or bad way. He just needs some kind of driving force to fuel his dream."

"Pops he can destroy the world."

"Maybe but I see that he means no harm to us. I want to see how high he can fly. I will only train him but he has to achieve results based on his hard work and talent. I just want to see how high he can reach."

"Well If you say so Pops. I also do not completely believe in this prophecy thing."

"Right, I am just investing in him. There is nothing harmful to us. I know that he will not join my crew. I do not know the reason but he wants to stand at the top in his way.

Whitebeard mumbled to himself. Marcos leaves him alone to think about that.

Logan reaches the shore he is fully covered in a bandage. He is quite happy today. He now understands how big an opportunity he has. In his plan, he always thought that Whitebeard will teach him one or two things but for Whitebeard to accept him as his student is completely out of his expectation.

He is truly thankful to Whitebeard for that. As he drags his half-healed body to the beach he finds Shira coming toward him. She asks worriedly.

"Logan are you alright? Nobody hurt you right? I heard a large sound from the ship, I want to go there but because of the promise I control myself."

She picks him up close to her face and starts examining him at every angle. Logan replied with a sweet smile.

"Don't worry Shira, I am OK. You see they heal me. You know Whitebeard accepts me as his official student. That sound you heard is the declaration of Teach to his sons. Today I am so happy Shira.

Logan starts laughing from his happiness. Seeing him happy Shira also cheers and starts laughing. After that, they eat dinner. During the whole dinner, Logan smiled while thinking about how Whitebeard will train him. Today he just rests and does not train much with Shira. They both enjoy tonight by laying on the beach and staring at the stars.

They know they are on the right path to achieving their dream. Today is the start of a new legend in one piece world.
