Chapter 195: Departure
"Can you repeat that?" Nami asked politely.
The crew was all together having dinner while Luffy tried to explain the events that transpired that same afternoon.
"I said that I gave our treasure away to that Big Momma to pay for the candy I ate," Luffy repeated for the second time.
Nami stood up from her chair and walked to their Captain's side while everyone else stared at her in silence, not daring to speak up.
"So…" She placed a hand on his shoulder.
"You lost our treasure already then…I wasn't even done counting it and is already gone, this has to be some sort of record, don't you guys think? is kinda funny." Nami started laughing in a way that gave them chills.
"I'm scared…" Said Chopper.
"She is so scary …" Said Brook.
Luffy looked to be unaware of the tension and started chuckling.
"Shishishi, yeah, I guess is kinda funny."
Nami placed a hand on his head. "It is… isn't it?"
All of a sudden, she started to slam his head violently against the table.
"Bam, bam, bam!"
"Funny my ass!"Nami screamed.
"Bam, bam, bam!"
"Stop!, you are going to kill him!" Usopp pleaded.
"Bam, bam, bam!"
"It has a rhythm to it." Commented Brook.
"He is bleeding!" " Sanji exclaimed.
"How Is it possible? isn't he made of rubber?" Asked Buggy.
"I have a theory about that…" Commented Robin.
"Bam, bam, bam!"
"This is not the time!" Usoop stood up and was going to Nami when Vivi picked her up in the air.
"Let me down!" Shouted Nami.
"I think the Captain has been punished enough." Said Vivi.
Nami tried to protest but Vivi put a hand on her mouth.
"Look, the Captain is not completely at fault this time. He was never told who that candy belonged to.... and besides, he mostly did it to protect Fishman Island from the wrath of a Yonkou. But if those things are not enough to calm you down."
Vivi go closer to Nami and whispered in her ear.
"I hid one small chest inside our room, and it's filled with the best jewels and precious stones. Is all yours…"
Nami's change of attitude was immediate.
Vivi then released her hold on her.
Nami let out a cute smile. "Oh well, what can you do? We can get more treasure in the future, right?... Im going to take a bath and read a book in my room."
She then left the dining room at a quick pace.
"What did you whisper to her?" Asked Zoro.
Vivi put a finger on her lips.
"Woman secret, don't ask. "
All of a sudden, Luffy rose his head from the table. His face was covered in blood.
"A-Algith… let's g-go to the N-New Wulrd!"
"How can you still talk?!" Exclaimed Sanji.
Chopped hurried to his side and started cleaning his wounds.
"How can you be so chill after provoking a Yonkou?, do you even know the danger that you are in?" Buggy said with a frown.
Luffy just shrugged and mumbled something that could be translated as.
"Do you know this Big Momma?"
"I only know the same as everyone else. She is big, obsessed with food, and should never be provoked." Answered the clown.
They stood in silence for a few seconds.
"What are we going to do then?" Asked Usopp with worry.
"Is not like she is going to attack us the moment we go back to the surface, right?" Said Franky.
"Unlikely, she must have bigger things to worry about. And the Captain is giving her a lot of treasure as compensation for the candy, so is not like the offense was severe. As long as we don't provoke her further…we should be fine." Concluded Robin.
Luffy mumbled something again while Chopper was trying to work.
They could make the words.
"See? is going to be fine."
"Stop moving!" Shouted Chooper.

"What!, do you really have to do? We just became friends. Can you stay one more week or a year?." Princess Shirahoshi cried while holding their Captain in her hands.
Another day has passed the Sunny was ready to depart.
"Jezz, you really cried from beginning to end, huh?" Said Luffy.
"I'll try to become less of a crybaby…sniff." Shirahoshi cried.
"Ah…to have the most beautifully of all mermaids cry for my departure…" Sanji dramatically held his chest.
"Maybe I should stay here for a year."
"Yeah, that's a great idea, stay here. "Commented Zoro sarcastically.
"Shut up, you would all starve in a week without me, be more grateful!."
"Tsk…" Zoro refused to admit he was right and instead looked away. It was then that he spotted Usopp sitting in a corner, starting at the distance in solemn silence.
"What's wrong with him?, I have never seen him like that."
Sanji looked at Usopp too.
"He is been like that since he came from his shopping trip with Vivi."
"Don't worry about Usoop, he is fine." Vivi placed her drink down.
"What did you do to him." Zoro gave her an accusatory glance.
"Well… I ran into this mermaid called Bell that I meet the other day. She was with a few of her friends and they wanted to thank me for saving their island. And when I say thank me, I mean…you know." She winked at Zoro.
"What?!, Vivi!." You promised me!" Shouted Nami with indignation.
Vivi rose her hands.
"And I did nothing!, I swear. I told them that I had someone dear to me and I could not accept their…emm…offer."
Nami smiled brightly at her.
"Really?"
"Ugg…" Exclaimed Zoro.
Sanji was listening with full attention.
"Where are these mermaids right now?!." He demanded to know.
"You can ask him." Vivi smiled mischievously while giving Uspp a glance.
"I told them that if they wanted to show their gratitude, my good crewmate Usopp was free and I left him with them while I did the rest of the shopping."
"It was heaven…" Said Usopp while looking into the distance.
The blood-curling scream that came out of Sanji's mouth was something they would never forget.
