Chapter 150: Irrational Insanity I

"Hm, interesting," Yovan murmured, Sengoku's words telling him that they don't actually know him to be Apollo, so who the fuck is this other World Noble that he killed? And how?

"May I know who this unfortunate World Noble that I had killed?" Yovan asked.

"Was it an Accident?" Sengoku narrowed his eyes as he asked.

"I think so?" Yovan was also unsure, his words causing the Admirals' faces to twitch, a World Noble died by accident?

If only the celestials knew that their death went from being something forbidden, unthinkable by any to becoming something that happens by accident...

"Let's not waste any more time and get this over with!" Akainu stated with deep-seated hatred, "You have no idea just for how long I've been waiting to melt you to the ground!!"

"Ah, misfortune," Yovan let out a sigh as he opened his left eye, an eye he lost long ago, and he gave up on it not because he can not recover it, but because he saw a better use for it.

This situation might've been a hopeless one for most, for all in fact, just not for Yovan. He came here prepared, knowing what may lie in Punk Hazard waiting for him.

And he's about to use this place to test a theory, the only way he sees to truly survive.

First, he wanted to survive as in he wanted to live, then he wanted to survive as in to never die, and then he wanted to survive despite irrationality.

He brought upon so much irrationality that his existence could be considered stranger than imagination, but is that truly enough?

In the second to last countdown, he asked a question and the answer was suicide... The previous Limitless committed suicide, but why? That was an unsettling prospect.

Why would a being that is Limitless commit suicide? How can he be any different than the previous Limit? He must have something that distinguishes him from all the Limitless that came before him.

Yovan has an assumption about why such a being would kill themselves... Limitless isn't limitless. Such a paradox indeed, but what if Limitless was only as limitless as their realm allows them to be?

Doesn't that mean that they're limitless in an abstract sense but not really, stuck in a state of false Limitlessness for eternity, perhaps Limitless saw that as torture.

So Yovan asked another question after the last countdown because he might just know how to not only survive but also become irrationally limitless.

[Question: Was putting me on the same Island as the crow fruit done on purpose?]

He had to ask such a question for crows are synonyms with misfortune, so he had sometimes wondered, was it on purpose?

[Answer: No]

So Yovan's plans took a complete turn, especially after he saw the added option, [Absolute Survivor: 65%] That told him that Limitless was helping him more than he thought, it was allowing him to achieve things that aren't supposed to be achieved.

It's an option that only increases when he survives an impossible situation, so what's more of an impossible situation than facing four Admirals at once, on top of the Fleet Admiral himself?

"Indeed, let's start," Before he even finished his words, Yovan clearly felt all and every feather within miles away evaporate just as Kizaru vanished.

'I see,' Yovan barely had time to think before Akainu was already standing before him with a punch of pure melting Lava.

Kizaru had the responsibility of making sure Yovan never escapes. No, never even have the chance to teleport.

The punch came in contact with Yovan's chest, easily so, not because he can not avoid it but because, "I wonder, do you know how I fight?" Yovan murmured as he grasped Akainu's lava arm.

"You!!!!" Akainu wasn't the only one shocked, all the Admirals were shocked as Yovan pulled the rabid dog closer with his hand also punching toward Akainu's chest, seeking to yank his heart away.

What shocked them wasn't the punch in by itself, but the golden flames surrounding it, flames so hot they were threatening to even burn lava.

"Awakening!!!!!" Akainu's frightened scream spread far and wide as he started turning into pure melting lava, and so did everything around him.

Alas, it was too late for as he was focusing on trying to evade or block Yovan's punch, the latter released a golden laser beam from his left eye, a beam of concentrated golden flames.

"AAAHHHHHHhhh!" Akainu's scream gradually died down as he completely turned into lava, albeit only after losing his right eye and a big part of his face to the melting flames.

Attending to Akainu any longer wasn't an option, not with the other admirals at his back, only stopped by his vast black wings, but their force still sent him flying.

Only Kizaru was busy getting rid of all the feathers about, using his light powers to move about with a ridiculous speed along with numerous beams.

Yovan of course had done it to keep the light man busy but the latter still found time to send beams at him, beams only stopped by the Stranger's Haki.

Such an unimaginable battle was taking place in New World. It was only beginning yet the Island already turned into a land of ice and lava.

More so, one could see a giant golden buddha overshadowing the Island, seemingly moving with the speed of light to bring punches upon the Island.

Sengoku ate the Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Daibutsu, a Mythical Zoan-type Devil Fruit that allows him to transform into a giant golden Buddha and a human-Buddha hybrid at will. This power is the source of his nickname, Sengoku the Buddha.

The buddha's brilliance, however, was overshadowed by the twinling beams swimming about, numerous beams of light, exploding in space like fireworks.

Having known of the Admirals' power, Yovan prepared well, and he remained cautious, going all out from the start as he unsheathed his blade... His golden blade.

Indeed, Enyo had evolved due to the constant injection of his golden flames, turning into a golden blade instead with danger that told even Sengoku that he couldn't block it.

Yovan's eyes turned golden, glimmering with the brilliance of the sun as golden flames enveloped his wings. No, they enveloped him entirely, acting as a shield against all that seek to harm him.

The Admirals realized it there and then, "You... You're Apollo???!!!" That wasn't something they saw coming because until now, they believed his Devil Fruit awakening to be his teleportation ability.

However, his current capability to control the golden flames could only mean that he had eaten a mythical Devil Fruit, and its true awakening is control of flames.

They weren't aware that his Devil Fruit had already evolved, [Devil Fruit: Kakin Kakin no Mi, Model: Three-Legged Crow: 2605/∞]

Unfortunately, his mastery over it was coming to a halt, certainly due to not using it in battle. He couldn't, not when it can implicate him of being Apollo... He doesn't need to anymore.

"I was starting to get tired of holding back... Ahh," Yovan couldn't help but let out a sigh of relief despite many of his plans crumbling as a consequence. What happened was indeed misfortunate, but it wasn't all bad.

"Nice to finally meet you. You can call me, Yovan, the Stranger, Apollo..." He had many more titles such as Hades, but he didn't bother saying them as he vanished, his voice still sounding about.

"You may think that I'm stuck here with you, but you will soon realize that you're stuck here with me." That's something that Kaido had come to realize, and now it's their turn.
