Ch 8 : Rainbase

Later that night, Robin eventually left after she successfully annoyed Rain.

The two didn't really talk that much, but somehow, Rain felt that Robin had taken an interest in him, and it wouldn't be their last meeting in the next few days.

Things have been progressing like this, and Rain could only sigh helplessly.

During one of their few conversations, Robin asked who is Rain, only for him to answer with some perfunctory answer like:

" An ant doesn't deserve to know my name!"

But somehow, Rain got the feeling that his answer had just picked Robin's curiosity more.

Heck, she even tried to use the seduction method to Rain by leaning her voluptuous body against Rain.

Luckily, Rain was quick enough to respond and he quickly used his partial transformation to avoid Robin, making her seduction attempt fail in the first place.

Robin was a superbly beautiful woman with mature charm, and who knows whether Rain could hold himself back anymore if he was to let Robin's body touch him.

' Psycho woman...' Rain murmured silently after Robin left.

Still, Rain who had wasted so much time with Robin, didn't have any other choice. He could only continue his journey to Rainbase and hoped that Robin wouldn't annoy him that much.

A few days later, Rain eventually arrived at Rainbase.

In the anime, Rainbase actually served as Baroque Works' main headquarters, operated by the organization's president Crocodile (a.k.a Mr. 0) and his partner Miss All Sunday.

It was one of the cities that continued thriving even during the drought orchestrated by Crocodile, mostly due to its gambling industry. And because of this, Rainbase has been referred to as the "City of Dreams".

The moment Rain stepped his feet on Rainbase, Rain couldn't help but marvel at how luxurious this city was compared to Alabasta other's city.

Even though it was still incomparable to earth, the gap that Rainbase had with the other city was enough to make Rain feel a bit surprised.

He had seen Rainbase from the anime, but the feeling was really different when he watched it with his own eyes.

It had a special charm on it that even some modern cities on earth didn't have.

Now that Rain had reached the Rainbase, he only had one goal for today.

That was to go to the Casino, make some money and spend the money in luxurious manner.

The past few days which Rain was traveling to Rainbase, he had spent all his time walking and training, and it had made a modern guy like him almost go crazy.

Don't get him wrong, training was good and important, but it would be a lie if he said he wasn't bored during the training.

Continuously polishing your physique every day, only a mad man wouldn't feel tired of it.

Heck, Rain even began to question whether the problem lies in him or the other transmigrator.

Not gonna waste any more time, Rain walked to the Casino where a lot of people had been queueing to enter.

It didn't take long for Rain to finally get his chance, and he entered the Casino without any trouble.

Inside, the Casino was packed with people gambling, cursing his own luck, or even making some connections.

He didn't have any money, so for what reason was Rain going into the Casino?

Rain walked silently, secretly eyeing the people with a lot of money.

He then chose his target and waited for his target to let his guard down before eventually:

A spiral void appeared and sucked almost half of the rich person's money without him noticing.

Yup, Rain was gonna make some money in the Casino, but it was not by winning the game, but instead by stealing them using Kamui.

Rain had the biggest cheat that a thief had dreamed of, so why would he bother using any other way to make money?

Time flew, and when Rain eventually got out from the Casino, he had already pocketed about ten million berries into his Kamui dimension.

It was so simple to make money that Rain really wanted to laugh that Obito didn't utilize this ability to steal from the Daimyo.

' Hahahaha, stupid Obito! If you use this money to steal from the daimyos, Akatsuki definitely wouldn't have any shortage of money!'

Still, Rain, who was keeping his act didn't laugh like a maniac in public. He held himself hard from laughing, and only a small smirk escaped from his face.
