10 Ch 10 : Tashigi

Time flew by, and just after two weeks, the strawhats eventually arrived at Alabasta.

And just like in the original timeline, they brought Vivi with them with the goal of liberating Alabasta from the hand of Crocodile.

During the past two weeks, our Great Immortal Venerable Rain also didn't stay still.

He kept training his body hard every day, and tried to polish his fruit ability in the evening.

The result was pretty satisfying.

Just in two weeks, he was able to push his partial Kamui ability to almost fifty seconds.

Based on his estimation, Rain would have no trouble breaking through to the one minute, but after that, the threshold from one minute to beyond one minute was something huge that he needed to cross.

' Well fifty seconds was already enough. After all, it was enough to plant fear on the opponent's mind.'

Rain then proceeded to walk outside his hotel room.

The big battle was near, and for that he needed to have some preparation.

He went to the nearest weapon shop where he had placed his order before, and the shop clerk was there to greet him.

" Sir, your order is ready!"

Said the shop clerk as he took out a mask just like what Obito wore in the fourth ninja war.

Yup, after continuously being played by Robin, Rain got to realize that he was not a master of hiding his expression.

He might be able to get his way past through someone like Mr. 5 or Ms. Valentine, but if it was against someone who was experienced as Robin, his expression was as easy as a book to read.

Rain took the mask and put it on his face. After a few minutes of admiring himself, he left the shop after paying for the full price of the mask.

' Hohoho, the world shall know pain!!'

Fast forward, the day where the Strawhats would reach rainbase finally came.

Just for this day, Rain had woke up early in the morning and went to the place where Tashigi and Smokers would meet the strawhats.

Yup, his goal was actually neither the strawhats, Vivi, or smoker, but instead Tashigi.

His first and last mission from the system was to find a crewmate, and Rain had decided that he would take Tashigi as his first cremate.

Actually, there were only a few requirements for Rain to make someone his crewmate.

The first is that he was stupid enough to be fooled by Rain, and the second is that he would never betray Rain.

And Tashigi was someone that could fulfill the two condition.

It might be a long process to make Tashigi put her trust on Rain, but right now, a huge part of the Marine was corrupt, and if Rain could bring those facts to Tashigi, he would be able to shaken Tashigi's believe.

Walking into the restaurant, Rain paid a lot of money to the restaurant owner, saying that he would be here for some time, waiting for a friend, and asked her not to disturb him while he was waiting.

Rain then ordered a few drinks for him to drink and some food to eat.

During his time here, he had seen Tashigi and Smoker enter the restaurant, but because the timing was not suitable, he decided to just sit and watch.

When the times come, it would be the time for him to strike, and definitely it was not now.

Soon the strawhats came, and just like in the anime, they met Smoker and Tashigi.

Smoker then rushed to catch the strawhats while Tashigi went to pay for the bills, which Smoker and Strawhats left for her.

Everything was going just like the plot until now, but when Tashigi was about to pay the bills, someone suddenly came before her.

A strange man with a purple outfit and mask came in front of her, and before she could even open her wallet, he had put a huge amount of belis on the table.

" This will cover everything right, Madam?"

Said Rain as he handed a huge amount of belis to the restaurant owner.

Tashigi was a bit confused about what was happening right now, she opened her mouth and asked what does Rain mean, but Rain simply answered with just two words: "Follow me!"

Tashigi looked at Rain weirdly, but she eventually nodded. Looking at the other party, there should be something important that he wanted to talk about, and As long as the other party didn't demand something that was out of her line, she would try her best to satisfy the other party's requirement.

Tashigi then followed Rain to a small abandoned alley, where the two could talk without anyone eyeing them.

After they settled inside, Rain turned his body, and Tashigi could finally observe the full posture of Nate.

Standing in front of her was a strange man. His attire includes a pair of black pants and gloves, with a white form-fitting shirt underneath. Over this he wears a purple, high-collared, long sleeve mantle that splits down the lower half.

But when Tashigi thought the man was finally ready to speak, something unimaginable suddenly happened.

Out of nowhere, the man pulled up two swords and threw one of them in the direction of Tashigi.

" Catch!"
