Olvia woke up in the bed to see food next to her on an end table along with a cup of tea. She laid her head on the pillow and looked at the food in silence before slowly eating.
A while later
Galan walked into the room and saw the empty dishware. He took them back and returned to the room, leaving a glass of water and a plate of fruits before leaving again.
The next time he came back, he picked up the empty dishware and replaced the IV bag, leaving water and a book on Armament Haki.
This continued for a few weeks as Galan took care of Olvia in silence.
One day,
Galan was sitting on his chair in the sand when Kong waked over, dropping a bunch of crates along with a huge block of Stone. Galan looked over and Kong snorted, "I was the only one who could drag this damn thing over here. You got a delivery from Vegapunk. Apparently chosen to test Seastone weapons."
Kong rolled his eyes and sneered, "My ass! Don't make such big moves next time! How's the girl?" Galan turned back to the sea, replying "Recovering." Kong crossed his arms and looked at the house, muttering "You're quite the tough fuck. Treating a woman like that, it's no wonder you're alone."
Galan replied gently, "I like the peace." Kong looked at him and sneered, laughing "Yeahahah! Sure! You keep telling yourself that, you cockless prick. I've exhausted all my means to drill into that thick fucking skull of yours that you're not alone, but hey! Who's patting my fucking back and thanking me, no one."
Kong grabbed Galan's head and said "You know where to find me if you need me, punk." before ruffling his hair and walking away. Galan smoothed out his hair and got up from the chair, looking at the crates.
He opened them to find everything he ordered from Vegapunk.
He pulled out the shotgun and looked at it. In the same crate there was an ungodly amount of ammunition. All three different types of rounds, boxes and boxes of them all. As well as a little booklet.
Galan opened the booklet and it was essentially a manual on how to use the shotgun, clean it, fix it, etc. There were even a few pages on the types of bullets and what to use them for.
There were only three types; Buckshot, Slugs, and Nullifiers.
The Buckshots had metal beads in them that would spread out for a wider impact range.
The Slugs had a single round in them that was much more powerful than the Buckshots.
Finally, the Nullifiers were the Seastone bullets and they came in both types; Seahorses and Seasnails.
The Seahorse rounds were the Buckshot variants and the Seasnails were the Slug variants.
However they all achieved the same purpose. Putting down Devil Fruit users.
The Shotgun itself was completely black and Galan held it in his hand. He jerked his arm and the shotgun made a 'Cha-Cha' sound. This was how you reloaded it, instead of breaking it in half every time you simply had to pump it.
Galan was quite impressed with it. It was compact and had its own foldable shoulder support. Vegapunk named it 'Punk-12'.
Galan turned to the stone block and held out the Punk-12 with one hand, pulling the trigger. His arm didn't shake at all as the Punk-12 blasted a round into the stone block, not even leaving a single mark.
The shot sound was loud and Galan could feel the recoil, however he was strong enough to where it didn't matter. He quite liked it, plus his old shotgun was sitting in his office as a wall ornament, so it was just right to carry around.
Vegapunk was even kind enough to add a leather strap with 'Marines' on it, leaving it in the crate.
Galan attached the strap and hung the Punk-12 on his shoulder, looking at the rest of the goods. The Bulletproof vests were tougher than the one he had before which was good. The long range rifles were equipped with sights and more accurate barrels.
Galan was satisfied. He carried the crates with him, leaving them by the training ground, under an awning to shield them from rain before taking out two vests and a rifle. He kept one vest for himself and brought up the other one along with the rifle, leaving it next to Olvia, leaning on the end table.
He replaced her water and food before leaving the room again. She opened her eyes after he left and looked at the door before turning to the fresh food, vest, and rifle in silence.
Galan returned to the huge stone brick and knocked on it. It was completely gray and 5 meters all around. Length, Width, and Depth all 5 meters. He slowly bent down and lifted it off the ground, exhaling sharply through his nose as he carried it to the training ground, placing it in a location that wasn't in the way of everything.
When he was finished, he dusted his hands and looked at it.
According to the note Vegapunk left him, Seastone was hard as diamonds, nearly unbreakable unless broken down by certain methods. Of course, he added a note that Haki could also destroy it if it were strong enough but that he pulled some tricks to get this to Galan as a 'testing stone' so it would be smart if he didn't destroy it on purpose.
Galan understood that he was probably not getting another one from Vegapunk's words. He was already surprised that he received this in the first place.
He raised a fist and punched it, only to hear his gloved fist hitting a rock.
He calculated quickly and nodded to himself, most likely he wouldn't be able to break this stone without Haki at the moment. However, this was a good practice surface.
He took off his leather gloves, revealing scabbed knuckles. He put the leather gloves in his pocket before punching the Seastone block hard. The scabs on his hands tearing open and splattering blood on the stone block.
He frowned as the Seastone block moved back from the impact, looking at the ground he decided to fix it.
A while later
Galan was punching the stone block and it wasn't moving anymore, however it was buried 2 meters deep, so only 3 meters were above ground. A giant could easily lift it out of the ground again.
Regardless, Galan continued punching the Block, not having anything else to do but some paperwork occasionally. He was currently tending to Olvia, improving her diet, and waiting for his promotion.
He also received daily reports from Dragon, Shakuyaku, and his undercover agents. Hearing about various bits of information from Shakuyaku, Army related updates from Dragon, and status reports on Robin's situation.
There was nothing to do but wait.
