One Piece: Duke’s Odyssey

Like usual I got off my bed stretched my stiff joints and went to the toilet, washed my hands and face, brushed my teeth then changed my clothes. After my morning ritual I packed my food and books into my bag ready to go to school with my younger siblings but not before saying our goodbye to our parents. Leaving the house I grabbed my basketball.

As you can tell I live a pretty normal life with two annoying younger siblings and parents with high expectations for me. Although it can be annoying with their nagging it really helps since I'm so lazy and procrastinate a lot. I don't have any goals other than getting a good job to make my parents proud and having enough free time to read or watch anime, manga and novels in that order.

Anyways after my internal monologue I bathed in the vibrant morning sun which seemed to have melted my drowsiness away as I listened to the few cars driving past me and the birds peaceful chirping.

There aren't many people who walk to school since cars and buses are much more convenient and people are just lazy. This allows for a quiet walk to school not that I mind with how rowdy teenagers can be.

Getting bored I start bouncing my basketball only for it to hit a rock and roll onto the road. Looking left and right for any vehicles, I wouldn't want to get hit by a magical truck that appeared out of nowhere would I? Running to grab my ball I heard a deafening crack as a shadow was cast over me.
