3 The Awakening ( Part 2 )
Two Months Later
"Today is a big day for you, Albert," I said to him while jumping from tree to tree. I carried a bookbag with a first aid kite and everything I would need on my back. Albert roared in agreement as he also swung from tree to tree. Today was going to be the day Albert was going to challenge the giant tiger that almost killed him last year. I'm going with him to make sure nothing goes wrong.
As we went deeper into the forest, more dangerous animals appeared, but they left us alone since we fought them before and defeated them. About four minutes later, we reached the area where the giant tiger pretty much rules.
" Buddy, this is your fight, I make sure no one interferes with your battle," I said to Albert as I jumped to a branch of a tall tree. Albert roared towards the tiger as he walked towards it. As the tiger noticed the monkey walking towards it, it sent a huge roar warning Albert who just ignored it and rushed at the tiger. Soon their battle erupted.
The fight was brutal right from the start. Alber would dodge the tiger's claw clashes and punch the tiger back hard in the face. Albert wouldn't go without injuries either. As the battle raged on he would receive wounds from the tiger's claws. At one point the tiger almost ripped Alberts right arm apart with those sharp long claws.
( Drake's Pov )
' As I watched the fight continue and Albert got more battle wounds, I was about to join the fight. No, that would hurt Albert's pride.' I thought while I watched Albert throw some sand into the tiger's eye. As the tiger was blinded, Albert ripped out its eyes. Now the tiger was attacking blindly in pure rage which forced Albert to dodge all of its attacks.
Albert gained some distance as the tiger roared in pain and grabbed a large sharp stone that he threw at the tiger's head with all of his strength. As soon as the stone hit the tiger's head you could hear a large crack sound as blood was gushing out of the tiger's head. After a minute it died from it and the battle ended with Albert being the last one standing. Drake jumped down from the branch as he saw the fight was over.
" You won Albert," I said out loud in an excited voice as I high five him which Albert responded to. I was about to put my bookbag on the ground to take out the first aid kite to bondage up Albert before both of us heard the ground shake. We heard a roar that scared away the animals that were watching the fight.
As we turned away we see 15 feet pissed off silverback gorilla. It was rubbing its eyes making it look like it just woke up from sleep which it most likely did from the fight.
" Albert I distract and see if you can find anything sharp to use as a weapon," I said to Albert I saw the gorilla stats.

The silverback quickly came at us swinging his powerful arms at me and Albert. I blocked it while Albert attacked the silverback but his punches didn't do that much. As the silverback stopped its attacks for a few seconds, Drake and Albert used the time to ran away.
Albert went looking for something they can use. The silverback would chase after them making cracks across the ground as he ran. Drake and Albert separated to confuse the silverback but it seems like it's dead set on killing Drake. Soon the silverback chased Drake towards the very end of the forest or island.
" Bastard, it looks like your not gonna give up on killing me," I said out loud towards the animal as I noticed I had nowhere to ran. The silverback just beat his chest a few times before he attacked me. It used its massive arms as a hammer where he would try to smash me to death.
I would dodge them while sending punches of my mine towards his face. I ripped out its eyes which was what I taught Albert when its arm was stuck in the ground. The silverback pure strength does rival someone like Kuro whose worth $ 15 million berrys but its low IQ along with its slow speed makes it an easy opponent if you are faster or smarter than it which Drake is.
Right as I was about to go for the finishing blow to the gorilla, I noticed the ground beneath us was breaking up since the silverback made so many creators to the ground along with already having multiple cracks at this part of the island. I was able to jump away from the cracks before it suddenly opened and both me and the silverback fall into it. I literally dug my right hand into the side of what seems to be a small cave to slow down my speed while the gorilla fell straight to the ground.
As I looked around the cave, I saw a skeleton laying on the ground holding a demonic-looking longsword surrounded by other skeletons, nothing else was in the cave. As I looked at the sword closer I could see its beauty, it was all black as five red circles were on both sides of the blade with a red line coming from them towards the end.
As I walked closer towards the sword, I located its scabbard which had the same color scheme as the sword with it being all black except for the side being red along with a few strange letters on the top of it.
As I finally touched the sword, I was waiting for the bloodlust instead all I felt was totally loneliness. As I took out the sword from the skeleton's hand, I admired the beauty of the sword before it tried to resist me as my right arm which was holding the sword shake.
" It must have been more than 100 years since someone fought with you, how about joining me as my partner," I said out loud to the sword as I could feel the sword's soul listening to my words now.
" Hahaahah, I make sure the sea trembles just at your name," I said as a humming sound came out of the sword's soul agreeing with me as I could feel it not completely resisting me like before. The sword was still shaking but now I felt like it would listen to my orders somewhat, most likely I would have to awaken conqueror's haki to acknowledge me as its new master.
As I was about to put my new sword back into its scabbard, I felt the silverback behind me. I quickly turned around swinging my new sword at it as it tried to punch me. As my sword made contact with its arm, instead of cutting the arm apart, it grew in size cutting the whole gorilla in half surprising the shit out of me.
" Okay, buddy we gotta find out what kind of sword you exactly are and what powers you have," I said to the sword as I put it back into the scabbard. As I was thinking of how to get out of the cave, I heard some screeching sounds as Albert finally located me.
" Yo, hold on for a minute. I come out in a minute." I yelled out loud since I could the worry in Albert's eyes. As I was thinking of some ideas, I decided to see if I could make the jump in one go. As I put all my strength into my legs as I jumped, I reached nearly half of where the opening was before I felt like I was cushioning off-air as I did the second jump in mid-air somehow getting out of the crack.
As soon I landed on the ground, Albert started hugging me which I did the same as well since I felt like we were going to die. As we started heading back towards the town since by now everyone has gotten used to Albert. I would bring him to the town whenever mom would force me to play with other kids. I thought about everything I learned today from the fight.
'The power ranking doesn't mean everything in a fight, multiple things have to be considered to determine the winner of a fight. It also seems like I used a bootleg version of Geppo.' I thought in my hand while I showed Albert my new sword.
' Hey system, do you have any ability that could let me see the ranking and power of the sword.' I asked in my head to which I got a reply that just said yes. From the system's answer, all I have to do is ask what something's ability is in my head while looking at it but first I have to see the ability.
I also asked to make sure there isn't any either function which I should know since from what I understood the system has two main factions to which I just got a no in a monotone voice as always. I quickly tested this out at the sword I was holding.
( The reason he doesn't know about this is that he never had to ask what's something ability is or was there any reason to use it before this. Since I know some would question this just for the sake of it. )

' A scientist could have figured out how to infuse other types of devil fruits into objects hundreds of years ago.' I thought while we finally reaching the town. Some people walked over and asked to look at me holding the sword since they never had this type of looking sword. I didn't let them touch it in case anything happens. Some kids came over to play with Albert. Overall today was a pretty good one with everything we gained today. But we didn't know soon those peaceful days would be over.
