2 The Awakening ( Part 1 )

Within the forest part of the island, a tall shirtless child was fighting against a large monkey over 7 feet tall. Drake meet the gray and brown fur monkey when he was wandering around the forest when he was 5. At first, they ignored each other but over time as they interacted more, they became friends with each other since both of them needed training partners.
( Drake's Pov )
" Hey, Albert you got pretty strong now, you know," I said to Albert while I dodged a punch from him. I named him after the first monkey that went to space. Albert started training around the same time I did. He wanted to become the strongest animal on the island or which currently right now is a large tiger. After that is the world from what I understand about the monkey.
Albert challenged him a year ago but was defeated. He was about to be killed by it but I saved him while receiving a claw slash on my back which awakened the only gift I was given by the system.
The system changed my body that could rival Kaido's durability and regeneration when I reach the peak of my strength. The claw mark I got from the tiger healed fast once my regeneration awakened. If mom found out about it, she would have freaked out and put a stop to my trip to the forest.
As I continued fighting Albert, I received many cuts, blows, and injuries all across my body. The injuries weren't fatal but they did hurt like a bitch. My regeneration and durability do have limits for example if someone shoots a bullet through my head, I'm gone. It doesn't help me recover my stamina as well. Once I reach peak attacks without Infused and Internal Destruction won't be able to hurt me most likely just like Kaido.
" Hey, Albert what you say about increasing the intensity of our fight," I said to him while this time I want on the offense. I dodged his fists before I sent out a jab which hit him in the face knocking him back a couple of feet away. Albert recovered pretty quickly before attacking me. I caught his right hand and sent a kick to his head with enough force that it created a large creator as Albert's head crashed into the ground knocking him unconscious for a few solid minutes.
"Shit, you alright," I yelled out realizing just how hard I hit Albert in the head before Albert woke up six minutes later complaining his head hurting a lot.
" Sorry about that, I thought I accidentally hit you too hard," I said back helping Albert stand up again.
", Ooo Ooo, Ah Ah Ah," Albert yelled back not minding Drake knocking him out. Both of them played around with each other for an hour. Albert maybe is a strong monkey but right now he is a six-year-old. Drake's mental age is 25 but due to his reincarnation, it's somewhere around 10-20 years old.
' System, show me all of Albert's stats.' I thought in my head looking at Albert which was the only way to activate the ability of the system. It would display all of the person's strength and everything else above their heads except for me, my stats just display in my mind as a blue screen. As for the map, I have to say display map in my head for it to activate. With blue dots being marines, red dots being pirates, green dots for allies, and purple dots for devil fruits which so far I can't find any. But it makes sense considering I'm in the West Blue right now.
' As I looked at Albert's stats, it surprised just how strong he is for a monkey. Well, not surprising considering some of the animals in the Grandline.' I thought in my head reading his stats while I chased him around the forest to tag him.'

" System display my stats as well." I thought in my head while a blue screen appeared in my head. I managed to tag Albert who I'm currently running from.

' Looks like I have gotten a lot stronger during those past couple of months. I should be able to survive against any pirate crew in this part of the world, I hope." I thought in my head while Albert and I stopped our game.
" Albert, I have to go back now. It's going pretty late." I said to him as I rubbed his head which brightened his mood up since he looked pretty sad about me leaving. I make sure I come to the forest every day for at least an hour so I can train and play with him. Albert said goodbye as I started to walk out of the forest and headed back home putting back my shirt.
Ten Minutes Later
"Mom, I'm home," I said out loud as I can see mom in the living room reading a rather large medical book.
" Welcome back, how is Albert doing," Diana said back as she knew about her friendship with the monkey to which I replied alright. I said how he was doing and some others things about him.
" Honey, I started thinking about teaching you some basic medical knowledge and techniques. " Diana said to me which completely freaked me out.
" Where did this come from, mom?" I asked her back to which she replied in incase I got injured and there wasn't any doctor nearby. I didn't have to worry about injuries with my body but I didn't mind becoming a doctor either. It would be super useful in the future. And so that's how my night started with me reading a large-ass book bigger than my head.
