Another Author's Note: I Am Sorry

Hello everyone, hope everyone is doing well.

First of all, I apologize for sending out another Author's Note. But if it makes you feel better, I had planned to write and publish this one first. The other one was published because I woke up to a specific comment that made me snap. But worry not, I will have another chapter out sometime tomorrow night.

Just want to let everyone know, if it isn't obvious, we're at the final stretch to hit 1 Million reads on the story. I know that in the grand scheme of things, it isn't a lot compared to the top dogs on this site. But to me, it is a huge deal. In my whole writing career, I've never even made it past 50k reads on either my original stories or fanfictions.

I've done a couple of fanfics back in the early Wattpad days and I was quite passionate about those. I wrote Fairy Tail fanfics. But they weren't that popular. In hindsight, there were a lot of things I wanted to redo in those stories but they are dead now, so it doesn't matter. The stories are unpublished now so don't bother looking for them.

I want to say that I am very grateful that even if I make nothing from this story, the fact that people take the time out of their day to even read it is enough for me. I always get ideas for stories but rarely commit to them. And if I do, I just give up on them. Thankfully, I haven't given up on this one. This is the first One Piece fanfic I ever committed to. I had a couple of ideas before this one and was kinda bummed out that I didn't.

One of those ideas was silly, it was that someone from our world made a wish to bring Devil Fruits and from that wish, the One Piece power system came to our world. You had devil fruits, haki, and all that in our real world. Imagine the chaos, haha.

Believe it or not, it was either that story or this one. Ended up not going for that one because I was gonna involve some of my favorite celebrities/athletes or whatnot. Good thing I went for this one instead.

I know that right now, I have the Elden Ring fanfic out that has a similar premise to this one. If you haven't, check that one out. There are a lot of ideas that I have that I am afraid to commit to because it'll mean not paying attention to this one. I have novels that flopped that are on hold, I have to focus on the Elden Ring fanfic sooner or later and I keep having these ideas that just randomly pop into my head.

I have an idea for a Monster Hunter story but I don't know if it'll be received. Was thinking of another premise like this one or mixing it up and having some sort of collab. Having Monster Hunter Devil Fruits. Imagine a dude turning into a freaking Glavenus, that'll be fucking awesome.

The plan was to take this story to 100 chapters. Hopefully, I can reach the end of the first act by then. Once that is done, I might either start another Fanfic or work on the Elden Ring full-time. I know I haven't had the best schedule but I am trying my best here.

I don't plan to end it at 100 chapters, don't worry. It'll just be a hiatus before it returns. I know that I had placed a couple of author's notes around so the story isn't fully 100 chapters. I do apologize for that.
