The New King

In the midst of the shipwrecks, Orlumbus unconscious body was lying on top of a thick wooden log floating on the water. When Ashen saw him, he quickly grabbed him and flew back to the ship.

"Treat his injuries!" As he landed on the ship, Ashen dropped Orlumbus body near Amber. The latter quickly dragged him inside, brought a first aid kit and proceeded to treat his injuries.

After that the Sword of Xebec sailed towards the island's port, cutting through the rolling waves with an air of menace. As the ship neared the port of Standing Island, the bustling activity on the docks paused, replaced by a palpable tension that swept through the air.

With a loud creaking of timber and the scrape of anchor against the seabed, the Sword of Xebec came to a halt, finding its place among the array of vessels that call Standing's port home. The crew emerged from below deck, their footfalls echoing with a swagger that speaks of countless exploits on the high seas.

Led by Ashen, who was wearing a black captain coat and a black hat. The crew disembarked one by one.

After that they proceeded to move through the bustling streets of the port, their presence stirring a mix of fear, curiosity, and awe among the onlookers. Shopkeepers hurriedly close their shutters, whispers of caution ripple through the crowd, and parents gather their children close, fearing the influence of the notorious sea rovers.

Undeterred by the wary gazes, Ashen and the crew made their way towards the royal palace, striding through the streets with a swagger that befits their reputation. The clinking of swords and the jingle of trinkets mingle with their footsteps, a symphony of danger and intrigue.

Reaching the royal palace, the crew advance was halted by a group of soldiers. They were led by a large muscular man with long, flowing hair and a pointy, upwards-facing beard. He was carrying a massive sword with him.

"Halt!" The man demanded, "This is the royal palace, I won't let you filthy pirates get pass this point"

"And who are you?" Ashen asked in amusement.

"I'm the captain of the royal army, Hawk!...I won't let you take any step further!" he declared, pointing his sword at Ashen. Although he was trying to display his confidence, if you look closely, the man was actually shaking uncontrollably.

"You fool…"

*SWOOSH*-*BANG* With one swift motion, Ian bashed Hawk's head with his metal bat, knocking him out cold.

"You should do as you are told" Ian commanded.

"H-Hawk-san…"

Seeing their captain defeated with one hit, the other soldier couldn't do anything but helplessly watch Ashen and his crew walk into the palace.

Reaching the doors of the throne hall, the crew paused, Ashen at the forefront. He pushed open the doors, revealing the grandeur within. They proceeded to step into the chamber, their presence commanding attention as they take in the sight of the magnificent throne and the figure of King Alaric.

When the king saw them, he immediately got on his feet, his face had a look of shock and horror.

"Demon of The Sea…Ashen" The king muttered, not believing the sight before him "If you are here then that means…"

"The Yonta Maria Grand Fleet was destroyed" Ashen continued the sentence, he didn't pay too much attention to the king and the people around him and was busy admiring the throne hall.

"Nice place you got here…" Ashen praised the hall before he changed his gaze to the throne "Nice throne"

"My I ask you what business do you have here? What does one of the three emperors of the sea want from this country?" the king asked while sweating nervously, his advisors beside him were too afraid to talk themselves.

Ashen didn't say a word, he simply walked up to the throne, grabbed the king from his collar and tossed him to the side.

"From now on I'm the king of this country!" Ashen declared sitting on the throne.

"…and you are my puppet, I'm having you around to keep the people in order…you will keep them in delusion that you are the king of this country"

"My friend Ian will come here every month to take 40% of your money…Now I'm being very generous here since I'll also be providing you protection, instead of spending your money building an army you can just give it to me instead and I'll do the job" Ashen said before he added "Now as long as you are flying my flag nothing will happen to your country and no one will dare to attack you"

"I'm sorry but I don--" One of the people beside the king started speaking, he looked like one of his advisors. Unfortunately for him he couldn't finish his sentence as Ashen immediately pointed his index finger at him and shot a burst of hot blue flames that burned him to death.

"I said I'm the king, when you are at the king's presence do you talk without permission?"

"I-I apologize for my subordinate action" the king apologized bowing his head, his body was shaking in fear.

"Good, you will start building the Yonta Maria Grand Fleet again, Orlumbus is still alive so he will still be the captain…Once it's done, they will be sailing under my flag, and they will become a pirate crew. Meaning no more of those stupid expeditions or adventurer stuff, they will go out plunder ships, take their treasures and come back"

"Do you understand?"

"Y-Yes, I understand!"

"Good, and one more thing…" Ashen said as he stood from the throne and flashed a hostile look towards the king before he released his Conqueror's Haki, just enough to make him fall on his knees and not lose his conscious "If you dare to make any kind of contact with the world government, I'll make you and this country experience a living hell!"

"I…Won't--AGHH!!--" After saying those word, the king immediately passed out foaming at the mouth.

"Let's go!"

After that, Ashen and the crew left, but before they do that, they also made sure to fly the Ashen Pirates flag besides the kingdom's own flag. So now anyone who approaches the island's port, or the royal palace will see it wide and clear.

A few days later,

[Unknown floating island in the New World],

"This is a new variable that I wasn't expecting, defeating that old hag Big Mom, becoming an emperor of the sea and now he's invading countries…Puff…I like this crazy brat, reminds me of myself back in the day" said a very tall elderly man, reading the newspaper while puffing smoke from his mouth, he's dressed in traditional Japanese clothes consisting of an orange trimmed, a red and black kimono robe tied together with a dark green sash, and a golden chain around his waist. He has golden mane-like hair, reaching down to the ground, and on the top of his head is part of a steering wheel.

"Chief?" questioned a very tall man with a clown-like appearance. He's doctor Indigo.

"The 20 years plan is still ongoing…" the man is the admiral of Golden Lion Pirates, Golden Lion Shiki. He was currently residing on top of one of his floating islands "Since that shithead Roger died and the world in constant changes. The great age of pirates, what a joke…those treasure-hunting, empty headed pirates are just a nuisance on the seas…I know an ambitious man when I see one"

"Puff…Maybe I should pay him a visit soon… He's using Rocks turf, what an interesting fellow, Jihahahaha!"
