Honeymoon Over

The honeymoon went by faster than Yanmei expected. She didn't even get laid—the feeling she's been dying to feel ever since Roulan touched her.

And she failed even if she let Roulan drink. The taller woman wouldn't even drink until she reached her limits.

For the past three days they've been in the hotel, she's always contacted the hotel service to bring them a bottle of tequila.

Although Roulan would join her, because she's wailing if she's not, she would only drink 4 to 5 small shots.

And Yanmei is to take the rest.

But Yanmei felt excited when they were in Paris. They would always go out, even though Lanying was trailing behind them, eat outside, or even sleep together in one bed.

She can even cuddle and ask for warm hugs from Roulan, which she likes the most.

Strange thing for her, she settled a little lower than she expected herself.

Almost every human being she met only wanted her body, and so meeting Roulan made her feel strange and almost like a stranger.

But she's happy with it.

"What? Nothing happened on you two's honeymoon?"

Guang asks, her eyes looking at Yanmei in confusion as she sips loudly from her cup of tea.

Yanmei's smiling face, as she remembered all of what they did in Paris, vanished when she heard the loudness her friend caused.

She glares at her before leaning on the chair, crossing her arms over her chest as she nods.

"That's the most intimate way we can have it."

"Girl, are you sure you are the Yanmei that I know? Because she won't settle for that."

Yanmei smiled sarcastically at her, her hand sliding on the mug in front as she took a sip of her morning coffee.

"You think I'll settle with warm hugs and cuddles? Of course not! That's why before we get back here, I ask her for a kiss."

A kiss.

A small word that Yanmei can say to everyone, yet for Roulan, it can impact her feelings towards the person she's kissing.

Isn't a kiss supposed to be for the ones you love?

Either on the cheeks or on the lips.

Roulan may seem cold, but she has a romantic side. Yanmei can see that.

The taller woman is very gentle with the people around her. You would see her ignoring everything, but she knows what's happening.

Guang's lips fell in a line, her eyes looking at Yanmei doubtfully as the older woman in front of her seemed excited.

"How did you manage that?"

Yanmei leans forward, her hand uncrossing as her eyes reflect the happiness she's feeling.

"Well, I did ask Dad for that, and he managed to convince her!"

"You sure sound happy."

"Because I am! Can't you believe it!? She kisses me on my cheeks, and just earlier, before she went to school, she did it again."

"Maybe she's just scared."

Guang shrugs her shoulders, seeing nothing special in the situation. Yanmei's smile falls as she scoffs and looks away from the woman in front.

"You don't understand."

"I do, Yanmei; you are threatening her; that's why she's doing that."

"I don't believe you."

Yanmei's phone turns off as soon as she finishes her reply. Her eyes quickly looked at the screen, seeing Roulan's name pop up.

-Baby Hubby (wifey)

Classes are about to start in 20 minutes; where are you?

"Welp, it seems like classes are about to start."

"You don't need to actually punch it in my face."

Yanmei rolled her eyes, her hand going onto her pocket to put the phone before looking down on her mug.

"And why would her nickname be like that?"

Guang asks, her eyes looking at her cup of tea and seeing that she has already finished it.

Yanmei shrugs her shoulders and smiles, her legs crossing as she leans back on the chair, wanting to tell Guang more about her love life.

"I wanted to call her hubby, but she told me she's not a guy, so I parenthesized the girl version."

"You are down bad."

"Indeed."

-

"And then Lei, finall- why are you standing?"

Yu's question caught Roulan's attention as the taller woman suddenly stood up from her chair, her eyes darting between her phone and the cafeteria's entrance.

Lanfen sips loudly on her glass of juice, her eyes getting bigger as she raises her eyebrows up and down. She puts the glass of juice down on the table, smiling at the standing woman teasingly.

"Maybe she's waiting for Huiqing."

"Right, I heard you didn't talk to her for a week."

Roulan puts her phone in her pocket, sighing as she sits back down and puts her head on her arms. She couldn't help but groan and move in her chair.

"You're a jerk for doing that."

"I know! Stop rubbing it on my face!"

Roulan glares at Lanfen as the woman shrugs. Her eyes go towards the cafeteria entrance, and she can't help but flinch at the sudden appearance of the person they're talking about.

"Speaking of."

Yu's attention went towards the entrance, and she whistled, her hand grabbing the glass of juice in front of her as Roulan looked at the entrance.

"Huiqing."

"Roulan."

The taller woman's nervousness could be smelled as Yu and Lanfen couldn't help but chuckle. Roulan clumsily stands up from the chair, her lips spreading wide as she nervously waits for what the smaller woman in front of her will do.

But her awkward expression suddenly disappeared when Huiqing moved forward and hugged her tight. The smaller woman's action shocks the people near them.

"Where have you been? I've missed you."

Huiqing tightened the hug, her face on the taller woman's neck, as Roulan awkwardly stood there, not knowing what to do.

"Just hug her back!"

She heard what her friends whispered behind her. Her limbs quickly went towards the woman's waist, and she lowered herself a little to hug her properly.

"I'm sorry, I couldn't say it to you because it's important."

Huiqing removes her face from her neck, her eyebrows furrowing at what Roulan said.

"If you have any problem, you can say it to me because I can help, but."

Roulan's heart skipped a beat when he saw Huiqing's worried expression. Her cheeks were reddening, causing the smaller to look at her in confusion.

"Why are you red?"

Yu and Lanfen look at each other, smiling as they tease Roulan. Yu stands up and looks at Roulan's face. She snorts, causing Roulan to glare at her.

"Stop it."

Huiqing removed herself from the hug. Her eyebrows furrowed upon seeing someone she wanted to forget behind Yu.

"What are you doing here?"

The woman in front of her couldn't help the confusion she was feeling until she glanced at Roulan and saw the girl pointing someone behind her back.

She glanced a little before running towards their table, seeing the scene unfolding in front of her.

"Why? I'm a student here."

Chang arrogantly said His eyes darted between Roulan and Huiqing, and he couldn't help but sneer at the two.

"Somehow I ruined you two's romantic moment?"

Roulan could see the hatred in his eyes. Her hands balled into a fist as she gritted her teeth in anger.

Chang looks at her and smirks, his eyes looking at Roulan's hands.

"What? Aren't you a weakling?"

"Can you fu-"

Roulan looks at the hands in front of her, her eyes looking at Huiqing, who has a worried expression on her face.

"Please stop; just ignore him."

Huiqing grabbed Roulan's arms before dragging the woman out of the cafeteria. Yu and Lanfen went after them, causing Chang to scoff and glare at Roulan's fading figure.

"What's with that girl? Or something happened to Huiqing that's why she's suddenly charging at that loser?"
