Piotr Rasputin

Three years later, David was standing on a farm in a land so far away that even by plane it would take him about nine hours. However, none of that had ever been a problem for the man who had always been able to do as he pleased.

"Are you sure you can't tell me anything about this?" a familiar voice asked.

"You know well enough I can't, Charles, and it's your cue now," David said as he gave a sigh.

Standing at the top of a small hill, he watched below as a young man, who seemed no older than 20, ran towards a young girl playing in the grass.

A little farther away from them, a driverless tractor was rolling toward her. It would be a gruesome way to die. However, David saw the young man manifest a strange power, as silver matter began to coat his skin.

"Does his power really turn energy into matter, or is the silver metal from within his skin?" David wondered as he watched the young man standing protectively over his sister.

The tractor was reduced to pieces from a single punch delivered by the now silvery, hulk-like young man. The scene was shocking to everyone who witnessed it... well, except for him.

Without further ado, David teleported Charles beside the young man at that moment. After all, Charles was trying to recruit the young man into the X-Men.

David observed the process but found himself more focused on the little girl, who stood holding a plush toy in her hand. No matter how he looked at her, it was difficult to believe she would later become Magik—Illyana Rasputin, the ruler of Limbo.

Looking at the young girl, David sighed. Not all tragic fates could be avoided. There were some where, no matter how you intervene, an even more gruesome fate will replace it.

Charles and Piotr talked for a bit before the young man picked up his sister and began walking toward one of the houses in the area.

"Between him and the Juggernaut, who do you think is stronger?" David asked almost as soon as he appeared beside them.

"I should be asking you that," Charles replied.

"But I asked first."

"Fair point. Well, Cerebro did detect him, so he must be almost equal to or even directly equal to my half-brother."

"Great point," David replied as they walked.

Passing by the damaged tractor, David noticed people slowly gathering around the farm. Punching a tractor wasn't just a spectacular display of impossible strength; it was also very loud, which drew a lot of attention.

Piotr may have saved his sister, but now they would all bear the brand of a mutant family because of his actions.

"Human stupidity," David muttered as he restored the tractor before teleporting away.

He didn't understand why people could be so foolish. You hear such a loud sound indicating a clear conflict or danger, and instead of hiding, they come running out to see what's happening.
