Ch 12 - Hazel's determination

As Hazel stood up to do the other chores after she left Derek slowly opened his eyes he was looking at the disappearing figure of Hazel who was going to the kitchen he could feel the warmth from Hazel which he always wanted to have but he didn't liked the feeling he was getting because of Hazel he didn't wanted himself to be caught up in such complicated feelings.

As soon as Hazel came with a glass of warm water for Derek he said what are you doing here at my house and how did you know about my passcode . You know this is what people call trespassing shall I report you to the police station or you can get out of here yourself without making any other trouble.

Trouble trouble you say Hazel was hurt by his words it was because of him that she had to run here to take care of him she did all the things she could have done and instead of a thanks she was a getting a response which she didn't expected.

Well she knew that Derek wasn't a man who could talk sweet but she didn't expected him to be so cold towards her but Hazel was fully determined that she won't give up here she knew that even if he was telling her to go away she could read his eyes which were desperately telling her that he wanted someone to take care of him .

Hazel replied well it's okay if you don't want me to come close to you I can stay at the room next to you and you can call me whenever you want . Wait what don't you understand English huh???? Derek asked

English well as you know that I can understand it very well but I am telling you that I am not going anywhere until you are feeling better and take care of yourself I have promised Emily that I will take care of you and I won't break it even if you scream on me to scare me away . I have prepared the supper for you just have it she came up with a bowl of soup as Derek wanted to drink the soup Hazel quicky took the spoon in her hands and blowed the soup on the spoon and placed her hand infront of his mouth Derek was staring her with his deep eyes .Are you drinking it or not my hands are aching Hazel said Derek replied well I didn't asked you to feed me okay as Hazel was moving her hands away he suddenly grabbed her hands and said well I didn't tell you to remove it either . Hazel was surprised is he really that Derek who was ferociously telling her to stay away from him and his sister infront of him was the Derek who was just like a child who needed care and alots of love she put her hands-on his hairs and started to Pat his head yaaa I know I will feed you the moment she said this Derek pushed her hands away and said be in your limits telling you to feed me doesn't mean that you can touch me whenever you want .

Well Hazel knew that Derek was just like a porcupine trying to show his ferociousness to others so that no one can hurt him and at the same time he acted like he was still a kid .

His indifference made her feel worse. Hazel couldn't help it but love him more and more somehow she could relate with him even though they were so different but a connection was being developed.
