What Happened

Akeem arrived at Abidemi's house in no time as he got out of his palanquin and was helped by one of the guards. He sighed as he dusted himself off and looked at the house while taking another breath of fresh air. 

He dressed up in his family's colors and in the royal family's attire. He also had a turban on his head.

He could hear the loud music coming out of the house. He could see the many servants and attendees outside. Guiding many people inside and taking their invitations. Akeem sighed again as he shook his head and crossed his arms.

  "I think we might be too early." a woman called out. Akeem looked over his shoulder. He bit the inside of his cheek when he noticed that the woman was getting help from her attendees. "We could've waited a few more minutes."
