" What kind of child did you raise that will raise their hand at people? Huh. Like she doesn't have any manners." Femi yelled loudly. "You should be so lucky that she is still breathing."

Aremu and Lulit flinched when Femi directed her glare at them. Bandele and Ige were sitting beside their mother. The two looked down at their laps as Femi shook her head. 

"Honestly." Femi said as she stuck her nose up.

"She was just angry." Aremu said weakly. He was going to speak up but Lulit held her hand. He stayed quiet.

Meanwhile, Lulit looked at Femi with a head bow. "I'm extremely sorry Grandmother. Bandele had no right in hitting Abidemi like that."

"But." Aremu started out. Lulit and Femi glared at him which shut him up.

Lulit then looks back at Femi with closed eyes and head bow. "We keep our mouths and stay out of the way until the party's over."

"What?" Bandele and Ige yelled. They jumped when Lulit glared at them. "But Mother."
