Recommendation Exam
It was the day of the U.A. Recommendation exam, something which scouted individuals will take to finally plant a step towards their goal to becoming a Hero.
The trio were now on their way to U.A. High, though it seems none of them seem excited about it. The two girls were apparently still sleeping and leaning their heads on the windows of the car. While Shoto is just on the front seat staring ahead.
Though the beauty rest of the two would soon be interrupted since they have arrived at the entrance gate of U.A. High, feeling that the car came to a stop, the two girls already woke up from their short slumber and stepped out of the car.
The three were simply wearing their school uniforms for the written exams since it was customary to do so, but if Kaga had an option she would just appear in a baggy hoodie since it provided optimal comfort and warmth.
With the three out of the car, they were able to get a good look at U.A., "Well...ain't this a sight?", Kaga said softly under her breath after seeing the massive building in front of them. 'It certainly looked small in pictures and in the anime...seeing it in person is different'
"Let's go, we're almost late", Shoto said as he started walking towards the entrance, the girls followed suit but still wishing they could continue their sleep.
It was still quite early in the morning after all, given how it's only just nearly 8 a.m., other examinees who saw them instantly recognized them as 'The Royals' that the media branded them with.
They were now feeling less confident after seeing how these three already took instant spots considering their experience and talent, but some didn't falter and actually had wanted a challenge.
One of them is a hot-blooded youth, "Hey! You're the Royals aren't you! Nice to meet you!", he screamed to the top of his lungs which caught the attention of everyone nearby.
"Please don't shout, my ears are quite sensitive to sound". Kaga responded in a lazy tone but just kept walking and yawning from time to time.
"This one smells like passion~", Himiko stated after hearing the person's greeting and just chuckled after seeing her best friend still so sleepy in the morning.
"Anyway, nice to meet you too but I'm not much of a morning person", Kaga said as she just casually greeted but her way of greeting didn't offend the guy.
"You could use some passion!"
"I need some passionate sleep"
This banter went on until they reached the area for the written examinations where they found Shoto already seated.
"Couldn't you have walked slower?", Kaga said as she looked at Shoto annoyingly...she had to hear the loud talking of some guy who kept screaming passion.
"You just walk too slow in the morning", he said stoically...already used to Kaga who is slow during mornings even though she can speed up her time to get ready but she doesn't want to.
"You could've carried me you know!", she reason while taking a seat beside Shoto, and soon Himiko took one right beside her too.
Luckily the passionate shouting guy came in later than them since he kept pestering the other examinees. 'Is he nervous or is this just his natural self?', is what everyone there thought of the guy.
So in the end, a teenage girl with long black hair that was tied and somewhat spikey ended up sitting on the seat next to Himiko, which if Kaga cared to look she would know who this person is.
Himiko was curious enough to look but her eyes were on the upper section of her body, 'Is this a teenager or an adult? Is it just the genes? This person's boobs can stand toe to toe with Kaga!', Himiko thought and ended up feeling her own.
'Maybe I should ask Kaga to grow whatever cells make boobs bigger?', she thought but with her constant staring the black-haired girl eventually noticed and gave a proper look at the girl staring at her...chest?
"Excuse, is there something on my chest?", she asked genuinely curious if there really was anything.
"Nothing~", Himiko responded and quickly faced her head in front of her and acted as if what she had just done didn't creep the person out.
The person known as Momo could do nothing but resume what she was previously doing...waiting.
But not after some minutes, the proctor for the examination came and immediately raised his voice to get everyone's attention.
"GOOD MORNING! MIND IF I GET A GOOD MORNING FROM YOU TOO!?", the Voice Hero: Present Mic said out loud but only managed to get one response out of the many students in the venue.
"Good Morning to you too!", the hot-blooded student awhile back was the one to respond, however, these two were apparently grinding Kaga's gears since to her an enclosed space while using a sound amplification quirk is like a screaming banshee for her.
Present Mic gave the usual rules of what not to do in an exam and when they can start, and when the clock exactly hit 8:10 a.m., Present Mic immediately shouted that everyone has two hours to finish the written portion before starting the practical exams.
Once the exam started, Kaga immediately used blood boost within her brain so that her perception increased while everything on her vision slowed.
She breezed through the exam within minutes to an outsider's perspective and as for Kaga everything, of course, took longer but the people didn't need to know that.
After finishing her paper, she stood up and quickly placed the exam papers in front of Present Mic but she also spoke to him, "I'm done with it so I'll just sleep...peace~"
She went back to her seat and shocked everyone with her action, the majority of people there thought she had already given up and this included Present Mic since nobody just finishes a two-hour test within minutes.
Kaga like the person she is didn't absolutely give a damn for what they think, all she knows is that she aced that exam. Soon, dozens of minutes passed and the next to shock them were Shoto and Himiko.
Himiko did something similar to what Kaga did, but on a different scale, it just stimulated her brain and perception a bit since the technique was still quite new to her after all.
Though it seems the one most shocked is Present Mic since he was curious if Kaga actually decided to just bomb her test, what greeted him were perfect answers...something a student should take at least an hour and a half to finish.
The same happened for Shoto and Himiko, although Shoto did have some minor errors since he didn't share the same ability as the two girls but just wanted to rush through the exam and sleep as well.
'These kids are monsters, maybe they're really talented as what the media says', Present Mic thought to himself since it wasn't a rare thing to do for the media to exaggerate whatever they want to point out, as long as there's truth to it they'll post it.
-Some Moments Later-
"ANDDD...STOP! PUT YOUR PENCILS DONE!"
Present Mic announced the end of the test which got him some mixed responses, some were relieved, others stared blankly, some just wanted to go home, a few were confident, and...some woke up.
Fast forward to skipping the pleasantries, the recommended students were now standing in an open field and they were instructed that they will be going through an obstacle course while Robots try to distract them as well.
Each set would have six students race against each other at a time, and not surprisingly the trio were separated into their own varying groups, the rules to the race were simple people can go into combat against each other, but no lethal attacks are allowed.
The students will have to reach before the timer runs out and also to see how fast they reach, so this is a showcase of how the examinees will use their quirks but they also can't just focus on the attack since the goal is to finish the race under a time limit.
The first to go up within the trio was Himiko, and she wasn't up against anyone that Kaga happen to know, but she did spot all of the recommended students like Juzo, Inasa from earlier, Momo, and the girl who can separate herself.
When the six went up to the starting line, Himiko was already grinning from ear to ear since she can feel that everyone within the line was nervous to the bones and some are actually thinking of ganging up on her since they recognize her. Probably from the Sky Egg and Sludge villain footage.
