"you still follow guys you don't know" he said after a while. "what do you mean people I don't know? you are Evelyn's brother" she responded. "so you trust to follow me just because of that" he asked. "why? do you have a problem with that" he did not answer her again till he got to their destination and park the car. Then he took out something from the back seat. He opened it and move his hand closer to her face. "what do you think you are doing?" She ask and move her face back. "I think you need to apply this to your face or its would become swollen by tomorrow" he answered. "don't bother I will do it myself" she said and move closer to collect it from him. Maxwell use that opportunity to put the oil on her face and rub it gently then he blew it. "Next time don't be so reckless like today" he continued. Sonya was flushed and couldn't say anything. He finished and remove his hand from her face, then kept the oil and clean his hand. they alighted from the car. "Sonya" he called quietly. "do you really not remember me" "how do you know my name? she ask him instead. he smiled at her. "A car will be here to take you back to the hospital, bye" he said and drove off. Sonya stood there and watched him drive off. "he is a weird type. why is he talking like he knows her from somewhere. she thought and went inside to change and also packed somethings that they might need at the hospital. she came out of the house and a car was really waiting for her. she hop in and arrived at the hospital in no time. **** "Sonya can you please help me pass the towel" Evelyn said from the bathroom. since the day she has helped her they have become very good friends. "okay, am coming" she answered and came out of her room with a towel for her. "hey guys there is a huge news" loveth screamed has she ran out from her room. "what is it" "where is Evelyn" am coming Evelyn answered from the bathroom and came out with a towel wrapped around her. "sit down first" loveth said and also sat down "go to the business news and check the latest news there" Sonya quickly open her phone to check it. "your brother actually destroyed Zayn's father company and all his friend and zayn's father has been arrested also zayn has not been released from the police station I guess its also your brother's doing" loveth said briefing them. "really? is he that capable" Sonya asked surprised. "he is more than capable and beside those people are nobody compare to him" loveth said feeling excited and satisfied. "i need to go change" Evelyn said and went inside "is she okay?" loveth asked. "i guess she is, don't worry about her, she will be fine" they both entered their room. After a while there was a knock on the door. "Sonya can please get the door am kind of busy in here" Evelyn shouted from her room "am not putting on something decent. ask loveth to open it" she replied back. after sometimes no one came to open the door and its kept ringing so Sonya decides to go open it. she opens the door and was surprised to see Maxwell. she stood there in awe for a second its like her brain has stopped working for that moment. She wonder why seeing his face has a kind of effect she cant explain on her. "he was putting on a causal wear he looks more handsome and kind of enticing" she thought but she quickly stop herself. "Sonya stop thinking too much" unknowingly she has been staring at him without allowing him in. "can i come in "he said. "oh am sorry, come inside" she replied and make way for him "where is Evelyn"he asked and sat down. she should be in her room. she said. "i will call her for you" "don't bother am actually here to see you. Sonya turn back to face him. "why is that?" she asked a little surprised. "about zayn's case you are a witness to it. "okay so what about it" "hem... i think you might want to change your clothes, because we will be stepping out" just then Sonya remember she is putting on a see through top. "sorry" she said and ran inside to change her clothes. Evelyn came out after her and saw her leave. "max, what are you doing here? Evelyn asked "what happened to Sonya? why did she run inside?" she said and sat down. "why are you asking too many questions. aren't you suppose to explain things to me. what if something had happened to you? he snapped at her instead. Evelyn was intimidated by his tone. "brother how can you shout at your dear sister like that" she said trying to coax him by acting cute. "come back home tomorrow, i will arrange for you to go to school from home "no brother, i don't want that" she protested and Sonya came out dressed. "i will talk to you later and make sure you come back to the house tomorrow" he said and turn toward Sonya's direction. "let go" they both walk out of the house after Sonya informed Evelyn. they get outside and Maxwell opened the door for her. "why isn't Loveth coming with us. she is also a witness" she asked. "just one person is okay" Sonya didn't think much about it and she hop in. Maxwell also entered and drove off. after a while he parked the car at a restaurant. "i thought you said we are going to the police station" "no, i just said we are going out for a bit" "then what about my statement" "i can just record your statement and i will pass it to the police" Sonya look at him confused. "then why didn't you say so before we leave the house" "because i want to bring you here" he said to himself and smiled, then came down from the car and open the door for her, she got down and look at him confused.
