Standing in the middle of the incoming horde was Big Mom. The horde numbered millions, containing creatures of unknown species.
'I'll have to fight them all, and go after that Lizard,' Big Mom thought with gritted teeth, clenching her fist tightly. She knew the dragon has gone to 'recuperate', which was a bad thing for her.
'I'll have to get done with these small fries' she thought, holding her club tightly. 'For our goals'.
"Raa!" The creature's sounds filled the entire terrain, making it hard for one to stay.
'I hope that bastard does not try to enter while I'm distracted' she thought, contemplating chasing after him. 'No, he can't pass in such a condition… he would just be begging for death,' she thought, coming to a reasonable conclusion.
"I don't show mercy to 'small fries', I'd prefer to enslave you all, but time is running out… so I'll use the easiest part, get ready for some serious gore!" Big Mom yelled out, moving in the direction of the approaching horde. Though they were coming from all sides, she decided to attack the horde from the south; they were closest to the Xadia boundary, making them the biggest threat; if they decided to infiltrate first.
*Crush*
*Gush*
The battlefield was filled with the sounds of broken bones and crushed flesh. As Big Mom used her club to wipe out hundreds of the small creatures in one swipe.
"This is what you get for being weak! Getting used as pawns in a scoundrel game! I'm gonna free you from misery!" She yelled out in a righteous tone, massaging their weak bodies with her club.
"Hahahahaha!" The creatures laughed in joy as Big Mom broke them into pieces, leaving their mangled bodies as fertilizer for the soil.
"Blood! it looks so beautiful… I wish Kassandra were here, she would be really happy!" Big Mom said, grinning wildly. "Too bad, she isn't," she said, pouting. Right now she looked pretty cute… don't give me that look.
Anyway, the horde was dwindling with every second that passed, their cackling laughs resounding in the region, almost canceling the spell placed on the ones behind the horde.
The dragon, who stood far away from the battlefield, could not help but shiver in fear. "What demonic ability is that… making my slaves laugh so much," he said in a scared tone, doing his best to recuperate.
*Pleasuring Pain* Big Mom called out in her mind, increasing the ferocity of her attacks. Continuing her pace through the horde, she cleared all obstacles on her part, making the whole region a sea of blood, the bodies being like spice to the 'red sea'.
'Why hasn't he sent any reinforcement?' questioned Big Mom in her heart. 'I hope things are doing fine.'
Not spending too much time on her flitting thoughts, she moved swiftly through the horde, performing her quest… mashing the creatures to fit her taste.
"Please Big Mom! Forgive us!" Yelled a human-like creature, moving toward Big Mom.
"Ohh! Do you take this as a joke?!" Big Mom yelled out, aiming her club at the ignorant fellow. Daring to plead mercy while moving forward; if he had run away things would be different.
"No! I don't want to die!" As if planned, several creatures in the horde started pleading for mercy, still moving toward Big Mom.
It seemed as if the spell cast on their minds had worn off, left with the one controlling their every movement, causing them to plead for mercy.
"Fuck! She can even make my slave spell wear off?!" Said the dragon, almost fainting from the shock. He was a dragon… What is a dragon… more like, who is a dragon; a being with unimaginable strength.
Back on Earth, same as Kosmos; dragons are considered superior life forms, beings no human in the Southern continent wanted to annoy, giving them a high place of value in the Southern continent with humans making up their main population.
"I need to recuperate fast!" He said as a bottle appeared in his hand. It seemed to fall from the sky, landing on his forearm.
Moving his hand toward his mouth, he crushed the bottle, allowing the greenish liquid to fall into his gigantic mouth, gulping it all in one go.
His eyes took a fiery glow, and his injuries healed up in seconds. "It's time Big Mom… time to end this charade," he said, his hoarse voice echoing in the terrain.
Taking off to the sky, he flew toward Big Mom with great momentum, causing the surrounding space to crackle.
"You're back?!" Big Mom said in an excited tone, smiling at the dragon.
Looking around, he couldn't help but shake his head. "What are you?"
"Ohh! Now intrigued by my existence?" She said in exasperation.
"Why fight so much… for an 'Empire'... An empire that lets you fight alone, with no support?" He inquired, intrigued by Big Mom's resolve to defend this front.
"If I answer, can you tell me the reason behind the sudden attacks?" Big Mom said, looking at the dragon. Though they had talked about goals, the topic was not expanded.
Glaring at each other intensively, with Big Mom having to look up while the dragon looked down.
"Haa, you know of 'my love', right?" Inquired the dragon, taking in deep breaths.
"If I remember right, that Phoenix female, 'Cari' right?" She said, unsure of his love identity. She was not his fan, or rather cared about his life.
Intensifying his glare, his eyes taking a red shade. "You don't even remember her name right, 'Kori' not 'Cari'!"
"Why get so pissed over a little slip-off?" Big Mom said jokingly, rolling her eyes.
"She's fucking dead!" Yelled the dragon, smoke coming out of its nostril.
"Hmm? So you are here to get some revival treasure?" Big Mom said with a thoughtful expression. 'I thought his intentions would harm my plans… seems not.'
"You could have said that earlier."
"That was for the first time I tried to invade," he said in a dejected tone. "But you stopped me."
"Ohhh! Now I'm to blame. You tried to invade, without any negotiations, and you expect me to let you in?" She said in exasperation, nodding her head.
"What I needed… there's no way your empire would give it willingly," he said, looking toward the south.
"Forget about the past… what do you want now?" She asked curiously, looking at the dragon intensively.
"It's in your district… the Red Palace," he said, his voice echoing throughout the region.
"Hehehe, I've heard a lot of hilarious jokes, must say, this is my best," she said, pushing her hands sideways.
"I'm not joking, I need whatever it is to save the 'seed' my love left for me… her last memorial!" He said, tears trickling down his ferocious face.
