Raymond Heartbreak.

"Arrgh!" The scream of several individuals could be heard, coming from separate directions. The whole city was in chaos, every district was up in flames, the cackling sounds sending shivers down the observer's spine.

Rushing out of the Red Palace, was Raymond, breathing heavily. He looked tired, maybe due to the pace he used in getting out of the Palace.

"When are all going to die!" Yelled a female dressed in stylish clothing, revealing her cleavage. She looked pretty fine if one should judge by her current dress, but her facial expression displayed a whole different story.

"W-why is this happening?!" Yelled an obese male, struggling to wear his trousers well. Tears rolled down his cheeks, and snot rolled down his nostrils. "I just wanted to have fun! Not die!" He yelled out, moving in the direction of the city's closest exit.

"Calm down! We got everything under control!" Yelled Raymond, trying to calm the 'scared mob' down. 

"They won't listen to you," said a feminine voice, walking up to Raymond with graceful steps.

"What are you doing here?" Asked Raymond in surprise at the female presence.

"Ohhh! My darling Raymond, guess you don't want to see me?" Said the female in a dejected tone, her movements highlighting her assets.

"Alice! It's dangerous! You have to leave!" Raymond said in a caring tone, revealing the identity of the newcomer.

"Would love to, darling, but I can't leave you behind," Alice said, her charming smile disrupting Raymond's thought process.

Walking toward Alice with steady steps; he stopped right before her, his eyes displaying the amount of affection he felt toward her.

"I never thought you truly loved me… I thought it was just for sex, you know… kuerghh!" 

Moving backward, Raymond clenched his stomach tightly, raising his head to look at Alice with a shocked expression on his face.

"W-why?" He inquired with a shaky voice. 

"Don't cry!" Alice said, looking at the teardrop threatening to fall off his eyes. "Though I enjoyed every night darling… I'll have to kill you!" She continued, her expression taking a depressed look.

"I thought…" muttered Raymond, looking toward the Palace, which seemed to be in flames.

"I know… they are not coming," Alice said as if reading his thoughts. "Everyone has a goal, something they want to achieve… I know whatever you did in the past was for that goal," she said in a nostalgic voice, surveying the chaotic environment. 

"But, I too have goals… and your doom is essential for its fulfillment!" She yelled, her expression taking a dark turn. "So can you please die for me?" She said in an alluring manner, leaking her lips; as if ready for a sumptuous meal.

*Voom*

Moving at an incredible speed, she brought out a dagger, aiming for Raymond's neck. 

Using his arm; he defended against her attack. He lifted a leg, using the other to balance his body, turning in a semicircular motion, he landed his raised leg on her cheek.

"Ouch!" She said out loud, using the kick force to move further from Raymond.

"How dare you betray me!" Yelled Raymond out loud, his eyes red out of anger. 'All that advice and training I gave to Liam are useless, a woman I liked most betrayed me' he thought, agonizing over the fact that he was betrayed.

"Haa, what were you expecting, that I fell for you? You said it… it's just a relationship of interest! Nothing else!" Alice yelled out, adjusting her jaw using her hands. Though blood was dripping from her lips, it was nowhere near the blood that pumped out of Raymond's stomach.

"I knew… no one will ever love me, but when you appeared here, claiming to come for me, I felt happy, even though it smells fishy," said Raymond, letting the tears flow from his eyes. "Maybe… just maybe, if I did everything for me… just for me, I would have been a simp, and let you win…" Raymond said, a small smile appearing on his sad face.

"But it's not just me… I have a real family, I'd rather die fighting for them!" Raymond yelled out, moving forward with great momentum. 

*Boom*

"Fuck!" Alice yelled out, defending against his sudden attack. Jabbing her dagger at his stomach.

Avoiding her disorganized attacks, Raymond kicked at her stomach, effectively using his experience in close combat.

'I'll have to do this, even though it hurts!' Raymond thought, punching her beautiful face. He felt bad, but Alice was no small fry. To defeat her, he needed to go all out, which includes; not holding back his punches.

"Argghhh!" She cried out in pain as her body flew over a large distance, destroying some structures in the process.

The mob around them didn't seem to have any interest in the ongoing fight, everyone working to leave the city at a rushed pace. It was a normal occurrence when you know a boat is going to capsize; the best choice is to avoid the boat.

"Where are the rest?!" Raymond yelled, trying to get information from the weakened female.

"Hahahahaha! Never knew you saw me as a weakling," Alice said, struggling to balance her body.

'Ohh! I remember telling Liam something similar. Talking to a kid while drunk is a bad idea, hope he doesn't mess up' Raymond thought, blaming his drunk self for misleading Liam.

"I'm not that weak Raymond, you'll have to push harder!" She said, tightening her grip on the dagger.

Pacing toward Raymond, she performed a 360 right at his front, getting herself suspended in space. Falling at his back, she plunged her dagger viciously at his stomach region, aiming for the injury.

Turning immediately; Raymond caught her hand, sending a punch toward her. From the battle so far, Raymond seemed to have the upper hand, though being seriously injured.

It was time to see how far their battle would go. A battle between two partners… hmm, am I supposed to call them partners? Not like it matters anyway.

{I know my fighting scenes are not good… or maybe It's good… I'll go straight to the point.

My fighting scenes… I'll let you judge their quality.

I just want you to know this; I plan on improving… everything about myself. That's my new year's resolution.
