25 Ch 24 : Chunin exam's discussion

- In the Hokage room -

" Now, first we'll hear from those who are watching over the new genins," Sarutobi said, upon which Kakashi, Asuma, Kurenai, and Sanada walked out.

" Kakashi, Asuma, Kurenai, and Sanada..."

" Well, are there any genins that you would like to enter into this Chunin selection Exam?"

Hiruzen continued to speak like in the anime.

On the other hand, Sanada felt very tense right now. When he watched the anime before, he thought that this scene was pretty normal, but just now, he realized how hard is it to be the teacher that recommends his student just after a few months of graduation.

Kakashi, Asuma, and Kurenai.. These guys really have the nerve of steel, he thought.

And just like in the anime, the three persons began to recommend their own team members.

" The Kakashi led team 7, Uchiha Sasuke, Kasumi and Uzumaki Naruto. Under the name of Hatake Kakashi, I nominate them to take the Chunin selection exam."

" The Kurenai led team 8, Hyuga Hinata, Inuzuka Kiba and Aburame Shino. Under the name of Yuuhi Kurenai, I nominate them to take the Chunin selection exam."

" The Asuma led team 10, Nara Shikamaru, Yamanaka Ino and Akimichi Choji. Under the name of Sarutobi Asuma, I nominate them to take the Chunin selection exam."

The three of them had said their choice, and now all the gaze was shifted to Sanada who was left to say his decision.

Sanada was ready to say his decision, but at this moment, he suddenly noticed a pair of eyes looking at him with a provocative gaze.

' So, do you dare to register your disciples? Let's see who's disciple is better.'

Who else would it be other than Asuma? After their first meeting in the Hokage's office, the relationship between Sanada and Asuma could be said as pretty normal. Sarutobi noticed there was something behind Asuma and Sanada, but when he saw that it was just a skirmish to prove who's disciple was better, he just laughed it off. After all, this skirmish would not be harmful to anyone and rather would help the future generation to grow.

After that, Sanada thought that the thing had been done, and he had no other business here.

But at this moment, a familiar figure appeared and approached the four new genin instructors.

' Ah yeah... there is this event..' Thought Sanada silently in his heart. Even though he was a big fan of Naruto, there were some little details that he almost forgot, and this was one of them.

Iruka, the academy teacher of the new genins came forward to question the four instructors about their decisions.

" Okay, okay, calm down a bit Iruka. I know you are only worried about your former disciple. But I assure you, all of us here have the best knowledge about our own disciples." Said Sanada trying to calm down the situation.

But unknown to him, his appearance like this just made the situation a lot tenser.

' Sanada, he... how can he be this fast? Were my eyes deceived me?' Silently thought Kakashi as he almost didn't notice Sanada moving behind Iruka.

' He is fast! And not just fast, it is very fast... or maybe very very very fast?' Thought Guy as he saw Sanada's speed just now.

Only Iruka didn't realize the severity of this situation and wanted to keep arguin.

" Sanada.."

But then, the Hokage's voice came and settled down everything.

" Enough! Just like what Sanada said, I believe that the Jonin instructor has the best grasp of their student capabilities, and this matter is already final. Iruka, I know you are just worried about your former disciples, but for now, please step out of it."

The Hokage had the final said, and after Sarutobi said this, no one else was daring enough to continue arguing, and soon the matter about the Chunin exam was finished.
