Kyuubi Attack

In between his medication Kenshin heard a loud sound and then their house was shaking vigorously. Kenshin thought, "So it has started, I have to get mom and dad away".

Thinking that Kenshin rushed towards his parents room. Fortunately they were also coming out of the room.

"Are you okay honey?", asked her mother.

"I am okay. Let's go to the shelter mom. Where is dad?", said Kenshin in a panicked tone.

"It's all right honey your father is checking out what really happened, so in the mean time let's go to the shelter", said Kenshin's mother while picking him up in his arms.

Just as they were going out, Kenshin's father Atsuchi came panting heavily.

"Quickly go to the shelter", shouted Atsuchi.

"What happened dear. Are you okay?", asked Kenshin's mother, Minami.

"No time to explain, Kyuubi is attacking the village and there are some people fighting it but they are on the loosing end", said Atsuchi.

After that without wasting any time, Kenshin and his family moved towards the shelter. On the way they met many people like them running to save their lives. Kenshin also used his sensory powers to check the power level of Kyuubi but he was shaking from the malignant aura coming from Kyuubi.

Fortunately their house was far from the area where Kyuubi was attacking but still flying debris was coming and occasionally injuring the people. Kenshin's parents were nice as they were saving every people they could on their way.

After that they reached the Relief Shelter, Kenshin and his mother went it but his father went in the other direction.

"Dear where are you going?", said Minami.

"Father", shouted Kenshin as he didn't want to loose his father.

"Sorry dear but I can't go with you. I many not be a jonin and fight with the Kyuubi but I still have responsibilities towards the village. I will try to bring as much people so they could live on", said Atsuchi.

"Okay dear I know you would say this but please return safe", said Minami while crying.

"Father", cried Kenshin as he knew this very well be the last time seeing his father.

"Okay don't cry now. I am going to return so don't worry. And Ken chan promise me you will take care of your mother while I am gone okay?", said Atsuchi.

"Okay I promise father", said Kenshin while crying. After that they went inside the relief center.

Inside the shelter there were many old people, women and children. Kenshin and his mother were sitting in a corner of this centre. The mood of the shelter was very depressing many people have their loved ones outside or some of them might have died.

Kenshin got down from his mother's arms and sat beside her. Kenshin didn't knew what else to say so he just said, "Mother, Don't worry father will be alright".

"I know honey he will be okay", said Kenshin's mother.

After that Kenshin looked around and found many middle aged people but they were civilians. After that he saw, there were many doctors present who were checking up on the injured people.

And after about 20 minutes the sounds and tremors stopped. Just stopped many people got anxious as in a few moments they will know whether their family is safe or not.

"Mom father will be fine", said Kenshin assuring his mother and himself.

"I know honey. Look the doors are opening", said Kenshin's mother.

Kenshin turned to find that the doors opened and many ninjas were rushing to check there families. Kenshin and his mother also went out to see if Kenshin's father is okay or not.

Fortunately after few minutes of searching Kenshin found his father's chakra signature and told her mother the direction. Kenshin and his mother found his father who was also looking for them.

"Thank god, you are okay dear. Otherwise what would me and Ken chan do alone in this world", said Kenshin's mother while crying. Kenshin didn't said anything and was just crying.

"Okay okay, I am fine aren't I. Now let's go home. This event is going to be very sad event for our village", said Kenshin's father.

After that they went home and Kenshin continued his meditation now ever seriously as he felt too powerless by today's event.

"I must train harder than ever. My talent is average compared to Itachi and Shishui's talent but I have "Breath of the Sun" and few year headstart which is my advantage. I must train very seriously from now on as Jinjuriki Madara and Kaguya are opponents that will be very hard to deal with.

I must decide which which way I will go. Should I try learning Sage mode after I have enough chakra or should I learn "Hachimon Tonko" or possibly both", said Kenshin while thinking about his future.

The next day the whole village was shrouded by a layer of depression filled clouds. Kenshin's day continued like usual but in the afternoon they went for mass funeral.

Kenshin's parents were sad as many people were not as lucky as them to be alive after yesterday's incident. There 3rd Hokage announced the death of 4th Hokage and his wife but didn't say anything about their son.

The 3rd Hokage said how their 4th Hokage and his wife defeated Kyuubi but died in the process. Many people were shocked as their Hokage defeated Kyuubi but soon became sad as he died. But still many people hailed 4th Hokage Minato as Hero of the village.

Kenshin looked around to find many big name people in the future were here like Kakashi, Guy and others from their generation. Also Uchiha's like Shishui and Itachi.

Kenshin also saw Danzo. Though he did not feel anything wierd but he still got a creepy feeling looking at him. He also saw others and decided to not come into their eyes. Not at least for the next few years.

After that Kenshin and his family went back. Kenshin today found how cheap human life is. Just in half an hour about 5% of their villagers died. This event only pumped him to be stronger.

Kenshin then began contemplating, "I was planning to join Academy together with Neji, Lee and others but I can't wait that long. My family is very normal and I couldn't get any high level scrolls just by going through the normal method.

My father can teach me some basic but his affinity might be different from mine. I think when I am strong enough I will join Anbu under Hokage as they have many jutsu scrolls including even the forbidden ones.

That's it I will join Anbu. From what I have heard most Anbu are at least know fuinjutsu means they have scrolls regarding them as well. I have to learn fuinjutsu as well because it might help in some tricky environment".

After that Kenshin finished his planning and went to sleep.
