Chakra Control

Like that another month passed and Kenshin was getting stronger and his chakra was increasing steadily. It was time Kenshin decided to spend time to increase his chakra control.

Kenshin from the anime knew methods for increasing chakra control like leaf concentration method, Tree walking method and water walking method.

So Kenshin quickly decided to start chakra control method and he will do this in between the time he rests after breathing technique. So Kenshin walked to the balcony of his house where his mother had planted some flowers for decoration. He plucked a leaf from one of the flower plant.

After that he went to his room, sat crosslegged while placing leaf on his forehead and was about to start when his mother saw him.

"Ken chan what are you doing?", asked Minami, his mother.

"Mom, I was about to do some chakra control exercise", said Kenshin.

"Where do you learn this?", asked his mother.

"I read it in a book from father's cupboard", said Kenshin. Minami also didn't think much as it was just a basic exercise that she has seen done by many ninjas.

"Okay but be careful and don't overdo it. You might become sick due to chakra exhaustion", said his mother.

After that Minami went to the kitchen but she had a smile on her face as she was happy about her son who is a genius and is doing stuff only taught in the Academy or scions of noble do early on in their life.

After sending his mother away, Kenshin then started to place the leaf in his forehead and tried to keep it there just by using chakra. But the leaf fell just after he removed his hands.

"It's not easy as it looks", Kenshin said while sighing. Kenshin thought that it would be easy as he have read in many novels but now he knew it is difficult but he will not give up and he is only 8 months old and there are still few years to improve before he starts heavy exercises.

Like this Kenshin days passed by. Every day he would train breathing technique from "Breath of the Sun" and Leaf concentration method in the morning. Then his mother would teach him reading and writing. As Kenshin learned it from his last life and the language is the same, he had it very easy.

The whole afternoon he would spend reading different books in his father's cupboard and practice writing more specifically calligraphy as he knew it is basic requirement for Fuinjutsu. In the night time he would spend his time doing meditation to increase chakra capacity.

A few weeks ago a very peculiar incident happened. Kenshin was with his mother buying vegetables from grocery. It was then Kenshin noticed two women talking. When his mother turned to him and asked her what happened. Kenshin blurted out, "Akagami onna".

Kenshin's mother looked to the direction and saw a red haired lady, her legs started shaking as that woman was Yondaime Hokage's wife Uzumaki Kushina and near her was wife of Uchiha clan head Mikoto Uchiha. It is disrespectful to say that to Hokage's wife so she feared for Kenshin getting some punishment.

Now Kenshin said that in a low tone but Kushina and Mikoto who were powerful jonin heard this and looked towards Kenshin. They found a cute kid about 1-2 years old with his mother. They walked towards that kid.

"Greetings Kushina sama and Mikoto sama, please pardon my son. He is just 12 months old and don't know much about culture", said Minami as soon as she saw Kushina and Mikoto coming towards them.

"hehe don't be so uptight now. I am just curious about the kid dattebane", said Kushina while laughing.

"Your kid looks very intelligent for a 12 months old kid", said Mikoto.

"Hey kid what's your name. Don't call me onna or anything else, you can call me Kushina Oba San. Got it dattebane", said Kushina.

"My name is Hayate Kenshin, Kushina Oba San", said Kenshin but before anything happened he saw him in Kushina's arms.

"Oh my god, so cute . I hope my kid will be as intelligent as you" , said Kushina while rubbing her belly. Mikoto just stood there and laughed at Kushina's antics. After that they talked for a few minutes before leaving. His mother who was initially scared was also happy knowing such people up close. After that they went home.

After that Kenshin finally realised in which timeline he is.

"Seeing Kushina is alive and is pregnant means there are still a few months to Kyuubi attack. I have to anyhow convince them to go away from there but I don't know where the childbirth would take place. Damn it's frustrating but I will not let anything happened to them", said Kenshin with determined face.

Cut to the present, today is Kenshin's 1st birthday. He was just happy but his parents were very very excited. They have been planning to do something grand for a long time.

Today Kenshin's schedule was as usual but he found that whole house have been decorated like some festival.

"Mom what is all this for?", said Kenshin.

"Honey did you forget that it's your birthday today", said his mother.

"I know that mother but why so much celebration" , said Kenshin.

"It's your 1st birthday Ken chan and we wanted it to be memorable for you", said his mother.

"Oh", said Kenshin before continuing his daily activities.

The day was very special, his mother made all his favourite foods for lunch which was enjoyed by Kenshin and her mother.

It was evening when his father came and helped her mother in decoration and other things. Later that evening many guest came from which some were neighbours, some were Atsuchi's colleagues and others were their friends from school.

Kenshin greeted all of the guests. Like usual everybody pinched his nose, cheeks or ruffled his hairs. All in all it was a great celebration for Kenshin's family who were middle classed in their economy. Kenshin was really happy as he is experiencing such love.

Kenshin's parents were very happy, they talked with the guests happily. It was late night when everybody went home. Kenshin's parents were tired so they went to sleep and leave the cleaning for the next day. Kenshin went to meditation.

Like that again time passes and Kenshin kept on doing his daily training as well as formulating plans to keep his family safe. He even tried to convince his parents to leave Konoha and go on a vacation after a month but they didn't agree. The day for Kyubi attack was getting nearer but he couldn't do anything to prevent it.

Another month passed by and today while meditating Kenshin heard tremors which was like a huge earthquake has happened. Kenshin get up and ran towards his parents to at least make them get away as far as possible.
