Peter's breakthrough.

Nate was not planning to use the crystal in forming a weapon, but rather, he was planning to use it on Peter.

"I want to use it on my horde member" 

The truth is that Nate does not know how to give such a command to the system since there were no function keys meant for that, instead, he decided to use what he thought might work.

[To use this on the host horde member, the host has two options. One is sharing the crystal another is giving it all to the host horde member]

The good news is that it actually worked with Nate calling out the system but what seems to be the bad news is the sharing part was tempting Nate too hard.

'If I share the crystal, that means that the crystal power would reduce'

Nate was still contemplating what to do, he even wished that the system never mentioned it.

"Distributing all the crystal to horde members" Nate closed his eyes and chose.

With that being said, the crystal started to turn into dust particles and soon vanished.

"Just like that, it just disappeared" muttered Nate as he quickly ran into the host to see Peter on the ground.

It did not take long for Peter to wake up, after all as a zombie, he is not used to sleeping.

Waking up though was with newfound power, as his lifeless eye was starting to gain some colors.

Nate could tell what had happened to Peter even without the help of the system...

Nate already knows that Peter had gone through the next level or how the system would have stated it was an upgrade.

Nate could not wait to see what changes had occurred in Peter's status as he opened it.

Taking a look at Peter's attributes, Nate could not help but be amazed.

All of Peter's attributes were balanced, with all the numbers in five. Seeing the attribute, Nate felt like giving the crystal to Peter was Worth it.

It would be an OP if he was the one to keep up leveling up while Peter stays behind. His actual plan from the beginning was for both to level up together, but it was the system that always blessed him more than Peter.

But right now, Peter was on a great level, Though Nate does not know their limit of leveling up One thing is for sure they are not yet close to that level.

One of the attributes that had just increased and Nate was having high expectations from it was Peter's intelligence.

It was a good thing that his intelligence had increased from two to five meaning that three more points were added to Peter's intelligence attribute.

Nate was happy because he had this theory that he had formed that Peter might be able to regain himself if his intelligence attribute was to be raised to a certain extent and that was what he was hoping as he approached Peter and started calling out to the latter name.

"Peter! Hey...can you hear me" After some time of waving his hand in front of Peter, the latter was not making a familiar sound of speaking instead was the zombie glow that usually came out of his mouth.

"Shit! Bang!

Finding out that he was getting high hopes for nothing, Nate angrily slammed the hammer on the ground sending cracks around the surface of the floor.

Lyon had been silent all this while on the corner and could not help but be frightened by the sudden outbursts, but this did not prevent him from speaking his mind.

" I don't understand you and your zombie brother, but are you expecting him to regain himself after going through whatever might have happened to him?"

Nate shook his head as he said to Lyon. "I was the one that turned him, though it was an accident, At least he is with me I'm still hoping that there might be a way for me to bring him back"

"If you can't bring him back, then there must be something about him," Lyon said jokingly, but what he didn't know was that he just made a point.

"Something new," Nate thought as his mind drifted back to something that he had forgotten.

"Function keys work with intelligence !"

Realizing this, Nate quickly opened the function key bar.

[Because Peter's intelligence had increased to five, the host can now give his horde member a weapon of his choice and the holographic 2D stick would help the horde member in using the weapon]

[For the host to give a command to his horde member "Peter", the host must mention the word function first (either within his mind or speaking out) before giving any command]

Nate did not waste any time testing it out.

[Function slap Lyon]

Getting the command, Peter suddenly rotated his hand out as they landed on Lyon's chin.

Lyon was thrown to the ground with a dent mark on his cheek, there was even a trace of blood on his mouth.

With the blood out, Nate starts to regret giving the command in the first place.

Soon, Lyon was now fully transformed as he pounded on Peter.

Seeing this though had brought an idea for Nate, Even though he might be regretting what he just did, the opportunity that just appeared now was tempting, and he was happy to fall for it.

[Functions key Beat the hell out of this guy but don't kill him]

Getting the command just like before, nothing had changed in how Peter carried out a command.

He jumped at Lyon that instant and at the same time, the pickaxe appeared in his hand as he swung it at Lyon.

Meanwhile, Lyon was not standing while watching Peter swing the pickaxe at him. He also picked out one of the spikes on his back and thrust it forward.

A shock wave was sent around the house with a violent breeze hitting Nate on his face.
