PancakesWitch
Another novel by PancakesWitch and this time its about planet hopping. Iβve always loved this concept but never found a good novel that used its idea well so when this came out on Pancakesβ discord server for the first time, I was really excited to read it. I was not disappointed and now that it is on web novel, I hope others get the chance to read it too. I highly recommend you give it a try.
Author supporting its own work with a self-review, I hope any new readers check it out if they want to hear some more about this novel! This novel is about Frank's journey as a World Traveler, a Title given to him after he awakened the World Traveling System on his sleep! After such event, he is sent to another world straight away! and needs to adapt to the situations and learna bout these world's story, and about the many threats, monsters, and enemies that shall cross his path! Although at first he is confused about what to truly do, he quickly becomes aware of his purpose, and what he must do to save his own world, Earth! And it is not as if Earth is not filled with supernatural things, in fact, it is filled with them to the brim! This novel is something I've always wanted to write, a merge between modern superpower novels alongside monster hunting, world traveling, isekai, and more! The fun literally never ends, as Frank explores the infinity of the multiverse, and all the fantastical worlds, filled with powers, treasures, allies, and enemies!

At the start, the story is somewhat hot garbage in my opinion. Most of the characters were insufferable, including the MC who was borderline mentally ill. There was a ton of redundancy and other annoying aspects, but after around 50 chapters the story picked up. Then after 100 chapters it finally got my attention- I feel like the author either got more comfortable writing the story or simply understood how to develop the characters better. If you feel like giving this story a chance, at least persevere through the first 100 chapters. They aren't too long and I got through them in a hand full of hours so its not much of a waste if you still don't like the story at that point.
Good Story with lots of potential, however I felt there wasn't enough action involved and is more like a slice of life story. The story development is extremely slow. The main character hardly abuses his own ability of travelling to other worlds which I feel like the main objective of saving Gia gets lost somewhere down the line or is just developing to slowly. Also the many characters are introduced in my opinion as it becomes a little chaotic. However the Author doesn't forget about these characters and no one fades away in the background. The power system is a little unique too. This at the end of the day is my honest my opinion. But there were times I had to force my self to keep reading so I didn't drop it to early. Slice of life just isn't me i guess. I enjoy a good Action packed novel with romance and maybe a harem but not to many members as it becomes too chaotic.
Iβm a little over 100 chapters in. I like the story but I dislike the character building / character interactions. The mc makes no sense and is very dumb. He leeks his power to kids and continually reveals more powers to the people in his world. He is supposed to be mentally mature and he thinks a ton. The author has the mc ramble on and on in his head about things but the moment he is talking with people he doesnβt think at all just says stuff and trusts people too easy. The mc op power is pretty entertaining. So far he has only visited one other world after 100 chapters. Story reminds me on the Korean web comic the gamer but not as well written. Almost every character stammers and gets flustered every time they talk with the mc. Even godsβ¦ If you can get past the conversations and supposed mature mind of the mc and just pay attention to whatβs going on the story is pretty great.
Before i start my review i would like to say that i finished the book and my talk about minor spoilers though i will try to keep spoilers to the minimum. This book shows us how even the most normal looking ordinary people can have a quite eventful life or extraordinary talent or a troubled past or all of those like the mc of this book. He feels just like a normal student you might find in any highschool could be said to even be a boring person at the start But as you read more you will find out just how hectic his life actually is you might even feel bad for him considering he literally dies more than once(remember that he is the harbinger of death). You will see how an ordinary student grows in power personality and maturity till he becomes someone who can shake the entire universe yet he doesn't forget himself in power or neglect those close to him. Though the part about being a harbinger of death takes a little while to appear in the story so you might need a little patience. the ending felt a bit rushed but at the same time its not truly the end as with all the other books from pancakes it is connected to a shared universe meaning the mc and his allies will appear again in another book which is why as i am ending the review i won't be saying goodbye but i will be saying till we meat again
i have read the few chaps and i will say that this author have a very big imagination to start a new novel since he or she have a total of 4 novels... and making 1 novel or chap a day is really hard but this guys made quality chap evryday i like the idea of this story i cant tell much since this is only the beggining of the novel but i hope this will be a awesome novel like the other novel of him or her?
A fantastic novel written by PancakesWitch bringing in the concept of world traveling, which I find interesting. The characters feel developed and unique, with Frank being pretty relatable. This is my first time writing a review sorry if its a bit bland but, I love this novel and I think others would love it too so give it a shot!
This is another quality edition to the PancakesWitch multiverse of novels! The big focus in this one is on the characters and their backstories and stuff. This does give more depth to the characters and the backstories are not badly written or anything, but I can't help but feel like they drag on a little longer than they should. Most of these backstories take up 3 to 5 chapters when I feel like they could have maybe been shortened to 2. I don't know, I just feel like we spend a little too much time learning about the past of these characters when the present of these characters is more interesting. I'm not saying don't do it anymore, but maybe just move things along at a more brisk pace. I feel like that would help improve the story's pacing (at least in my opinion).
