Be My Secretary

Shaking his head and curious to look at his wife's work which he believed wasn't going to be ordinary, quickly turns on the pages of the account book. When he saw the comments written by her, he laughed aloud scaring the shit out of the two standing in front of him. Both Ash and Mr. Sheath thought what bad things she did in the booklet to let the demon king lose his composure. Surely beauty brings disaster. Both were feeling miserable for her and started pitying her. Luna was confused when she saw the look in their eyes for her but she didn't pay any heads to them and was looking happily on her phone. Ash, when he thought that his lady boss was just a pretty vase was a little disappointed because he always imagined a powerful lady as his mistress. But it's okay, as long as she can keep our boss happy and more humane, he can console himself. But he will definitely not spare her if she ever wants to harm their boss. Even if he has to go against his boss orders he will not let her go away.

Both of them thought that their boss was pissed off from her scribbling and were ready to hear him bash out but heard a simple reply "Follow as per the instructions. You can leave" Both were dumbfounded and couldn't react for a while. "Anything else you both want to say?" Kai asked with complete displeasure but it was enough for them to come out of their stupor. Picking up the relevant documents, they rushed out as if someone was to kill them.

Closing the cabin's door, both with intense curiosity opened the finance file, reading, reading, reading, and reading. The employs around them were giving them strange but excited looks. They started discussing among themselves. "Did boss acquire a new project?" "That must be it or why else Mr. Ash and Mr. Sheath will standing, reading the same document for more than fifteen minutes just outside the president's office!"

But who will tell them neither it a new project nor something secretive. It is just a finance file of their company of the precious month. >_< !!!

Inside the office was a complete different vibe from the chilly atmosphere both ash and sheath last experienced. Lowering down his gaze to look at the little lady who was leisurely playing games on her phone as it was the only thing to worth waste time upon. Shaking his head in defeat, he asked Luna "you know finance?" she looked at him "yup" and continued playing her game. Kai whose lips were twitching felt for the first time how it feels to get ignored and top of it he was side casted by a mere game and that of which children play- TALKING TOM!!! Seriously?

Here was Kai started questioning his charm and there Evelyn was punching tom in his stomach while she was bathing him. Kai stop dwelling into such a messy thoughts and straight forwardly asked "Are You interested in working here?" After asking, he thought what he was thinking. A girl who has lived her entire being spoiled by her brother, why would she work hard now. On top of which she can enjoy a life of leisure since she has married to a rich guy. He laughed upon himself over his excessive thoughts.

"What kind of job?" Evelyn asked with curiosity as she kept her phone aside. Kai on the other hand was a little surprised. He knew she haven't worked under any company despite being 24 years old, he thought her brothers mindset was embedded in her heart and naturally she is resistive to work. But at the same time its natural as anything doesn't go as planned when it involves his mysterious wife.

Getting his composure back, Kai asked Luna in his thick, husky voice "Depends on your qualification." Despite saying this, he was never going to let his wife under any other employ or man. "I have graduated from the business University of Capital and had two PhDs in business studies." I answered with a proud look, poking my nose high up in the air. 'It is my proudest thing to claim, why won't I show it off.' Luna thought smugly.

"Oh, this princess has some talents. It's really a waste of you to not work till now or you would be at a very high post by now." Kai said somewhat with a pity. "What shocked with just this? Looking at my talent can I climb up to your chair?" Luna asked mischievously to Kai leaning closer to him who was seating on his majestic chair. But contrary to her expectations, Kai grabbed her tiny wrists and pulled her further closer to him and said somewhat teasing tone "What a pity that the president's chair you have your eyes on has 3 PhD certificates under his name. So your qualifications are still suppressed by me. But if we look from another angle, isn't this seat already yours, the chair of the lady boss of the starlight corporation." Evelyn was dumbstruck. WHAT THE FREAK!!! What's with this direction of our conversation? From me getting a job to being the lady boss of the company. Surely people shouldn't let their guards down in front of a fox or won't even know when you become its food. Evelyn thought to herself reminding herself badly that her husband is the biggest business fox in our country or she will definitely always suffer losses from him. With this thought Evelyn pouted hard, making her already angelic face fill with blush. It was not known to anybody why her face eas turning red like a tomato.

Kai enjoyed the box of emotions which were being displayed on his little kittens face. Surely cats are fun to tease. "Be my secretary" Kai dominantly told Evelyn. He thought that this way she won't get bored home all alone and his life will also get some life with her presence. He decisively denied that he doesn't want her to follow any other man and just wanted to spend some time with her.

Evelyn looked at Kai for a long time considering his offer. She already has too much on her platter and just wanted some fresh air but things are getting more and more messy. But it's interesting also. I have never been a secretary of someone. This new experience is getting her thrill over her rationality. She is darer; always on her way to try something new. The angel on her left side was reminding her to think about the consequences but the devil on her right side was encouraging her to go and live her life. She is Evelyn Wright. Which hurdles she hasn't passed before!

"What will be my salary and terms and conditions?" "Kai looked at her in wonder. "Dear, the money we are making is ours, why is there a need for salary and terms?" "Nah nah, don't try to fool me Mr. Kai." Evelyn folded her hands in front of her chest and looked at him as if saying I won't fall for your tricks.

Kai laughed aloud, as expected of a vigilant kitten. She has started swaying her paws. "Ok miss money grubber, as you wish." This kitten surely knows how to make a profiting deal. Getting all the profits earned by the company plus her salary, what a cutie. He started making her contract personally and went to get its printout. All the employs out there were shocked to see their mighty president on run for such a small errand. All of them hardly get to see him twice in a day despite being on the same floor and today they met him nearly thrice in just half a day. Surely miracles do happen.
