Is This Even a Contract ?

Kai entered and handed her the contract to read and sign if she agreed to all the terms and conditions. When he thought of the contract, he smiled wickedly. When he was feeling proud of his work, he got an email from Sid 'Boss, the identity of the CEO of Moonlight Corporation is very well held hidden. I got to know only 10 people, who are the core members of Moonlight really know who their boss is, the rest has never seen or met her. The only information we found is that Moonlight's CEO is a woman and all the people in her company address her as Miss Moon.' Kai eyes darkened. Their connection in the underworld and business is widely stretched in just a mere 7 years and can even rival starlight. Even with his resources he is unable to get deeper into it. He is fine as long as they are not foes but once they are, things are not going to stay calm.

and many more of such idiotic terms. Evelyn was thinking hard can a billionaire CEO come with such terms. Wait, are they even terms?

Evelyn looked at Kai with a complicated gaze. Is there any other reason for it? Looking down the contract again, she can't comprehend the meaning behind the terms. Anyhow, these terms don't come between my professional pursuit so it's okay. On the other hand its good that he is not stingy in giving his wife her desired salary; a complete market rate. Acceptable. Anyways it won't take long for these mere 120 millions to reach half a billion or more. As if patting herself for her good work, she happily signs her name at the end of the contract.

While returning the contract back, she asked "What is the need to add unnecessary terms in it. Since I am your wife, I am definitely going to come and go with you, then what's the fuss?" Looking down the contract, he set it aside and kept it in his drawer with satisfaction and finally answered " You didn't want to reveal that you are my wife, right?" "Yes" I replied the obvious. "then just to remove the chances for you to say that we have to come separately to avoid suspicion. Then it would be a big deal, no?" Kai looked at me with an evil grin. Have I fallen into a trap? Nah, there was no other meaning to it, so why am I feeling giddy. Throwing my uncomfortable feeling I softly replied hmm and said to start from the day after tomorrow.

"No problem, Tomorrow I will announce that I will be having a new secretary under me so you can freely join. Let's go, I am fine with today's work. let me show you around too."

Standing up from the chairs, we both strolled out. All the employees were giving me a strange look, trying to gauche my identity. Definitely the rumours must be like is she our lady boss or any of our contractors daughter or something like that Aww, they will be greatly disappointed the day after tomorrow to see me as their boss secretary. Just thinking about this is making it hard for me to stop my smile.

Kai gave me a strange look."What's so funny? Let me hear it too." I being a big hearted person was willing to share my thoughts about this. "You surely do have a wild imagination." Kai said while shaking his head in amusement.

After strolling in the office for around an hour, we finally set off to my new home. I wonder what my brothers' reaction will be when they know that their cabbage has been stolen by a pig . At the same time what will happen to this cabbage is still unknown. Will the cabbage be chopped by her own brothers first before the pig to get slaughtered. Oh my, these thoughts give me a chill.

I was in my own thoughts, when Kai knocked on my forehead gently, reminding me to get out of the car as we had reached. WHAT? I have been dreaming on my own for the whole journey. Damn it. What's happening to you Evelyn. Why are you always out of your character when you are with him. Why are my hair always down around him? Is this the legendary male charm? Definitely it must be it. Reminding myself to beware of it, I aligned down the car. Holding his big hands with my little ones we entered the maleficent and tall building.

Entering the building, Kai registered me as his wife. It was a private and the most secured property over here and no unregistered people were allowed to enter. His penthouse was on the 35th floor and the lift directly opens up in the penthouse. 

Luxury....how long it has been I have lived a life like this. My brothers definitely must be heartbroken if they knew their little sister was living in a small room rather than maleficent princess room they have customized for her.

Hehe.... definitely I would never let them know this or my ticket to travel around will definitely be snatched away from me. Evelyn you need to work hard to hide this sweet lie from your brothers!

On the other hand, Kai was getting amused looking at his wife's ever changing expressions. As far as he remembered his first meeting with her, wasn't she an ice cold beauty without any expressions on her beautiful face. What happened to her? Now where she is gone?

The sudden sound broke both Evelyn and Kai's thoughts.

Holding her hands, Kai brought Luna to his personal condo. Even his family is not aware of this property. 

He gave her a small tour of this condo. "Go and fresh and up. I will make our dinner. Your clothes are already arranged in the closet. If you think anything is lacking or if you want to buy anything else, let's go shopping together. Anyways its Sunday tomorrow; A perfect day for outing, no?"

"A date?" Evelyn asks with a smirk on her pale white face. He cherry red lips doesn't help any better to make her face more charming.

"Luna! We are already married since this morning. I think now you need to remember you are not single anymore, hence you can't have any boyfriend since I am here now." His starting was in a pampering tone but by the end of his line, he was damn serious and gave off a dark vibe but why do he look more and more charming when he shows his dangerous side. Hehe, her husband is just like her, he is someone who meets more than the eye. On my, now you have also picked my curiosity my dear husband.

"For your kind information Mr. my only husband, who said only boyfriend-girlfriends go on for a date? Why can't married couples go on for one too? Hence, I am not taking no as answer and we are going on our first date together. Okay, I am going up for a bath." Luna hopes up the stairs with a silly smile on her face which she herself doesn't know was hanging there firmly. Kai was dazed just looking at that radiance which was continuously emitting from her.

He started smiling too and went to make a warm dinner.
