My Omni-Ability System in a Parallel World
I'll be rewriting this book all over. There are lots of mistakes in it. The next few chapters that I'll be uploading is to complete the plot I made for the new story. Please ignore this book and check out my second book. Xin, a sixteen year old kid who is the rightful heir to the throne of Erica kingdom, faced an unexpected predicament as he was on his way to save his father and mother, who were the king and queen respectively, from being killed by his father's cousin. On his way to rescue his father and mother, Xin discovered that he had been transported to a parallel world where abilities were being used and a world crisis of alien invasion was occuring presently in their world. Xin is a smart genius who spends all of his time proving formulas and theories that scientists of the past had discovered. Of all discoveries, he tend to love the discovery of a parallel world and he had read millions of books that proves the existence of parallel worlds. But what surprised him was that his parallel self whose name is also Xin, used to exist in the parallel world he's in, but scientifically, he also might have been transported to Xin's world. The 'Xin' was said to have been in a month Coma but upon seeing the real Xin, everyone thought that 'Xin' had woken from Coma. And Xin had no other option but to pretend to be the previous 'Xin'. But there's a war going on in this world, A war between Aliens and Humans. And every human had been told to learn an ability inorder to win against the savaging beasts. Surprisingly, Xin got a system which was activated by the Omnitrix (a watch created by his father and said to be able to store different types of abilities), and with this system, Xin would learn how to control many types of abilities, and the tide of war would shift in favour of all humans. But still, there is an enemy that Xin had to defeat. That is his father's cousin, the controller of time and worlds.
Chapter Forty One: Lauren vs Chris
With anger, Lauren, who was the last child of the five children that the world leader Nelson had, threw out a ball of fire at Michelle. Michelle was then sent flying backwards but due to how strong she was, she was able to get up at once.
Xin could see what was going on but he was way too weak to fight.
"Michelle, are you alright?" Xinny asked, feeling concerned.
"Hey," Chris called out for the two girls. "You two should take Xin to his room, I'll deal with these brats."
Michelle had quickly help Xin up and they had already started heading for the dorm room. But Xinny refused to leave, she had even sent fire balls of her own towards the students who were running towards Xin and Michelle.
"No, let's deal with them together." Xinny argued as she readied herself to fight.
"Go, Xin needs you. You are too weak to fight, go now!" Chris shouted in an attempt of making Xinny go away.
"Are you going to be okay?" Xinny asked, her emotions were mixed with sympathy. She knew how strong the Nelson family are. Their ability is fire but it is far stronger than any normal fire ability user. They specialize in this ability and lots of fire skill books are in their possession. It would be hard to defeat them even if you are an experienced fire ability user. Not even Xinny who was lucky to learn the fire ability will be able to defeat Lauren all alone. And Lauren was said to be the weakest among all the children of Nelson.
"Go Xinny, don't worry about me." Chris said gently. But it was surprising to Chris that Xinny still cared about him. He had thought she was really angry that she didn't want to associate herself with him but he discovered that it wasn't true. Chris could only chuckle to himself with a smile, 'Well, I'm the good guy after all.'
Giving in, Xinny finally heed to Chris's words and ran towards Xin who were now at a distance away from where Xinny was. Lauren had immediately signalled for the student that was by his side and as he attempted to run after Xinny, Chris had immediately stopped him in his track. He did so by launching a metal chair that was created purposely for the comfort of students who wanted to have a leisure time at the hallway, at the student, landing and injuring the boy as he tripped and fall. He didn't stop as he grabbed the legs of the student and threw him backwards toward where Lauren was standing. The injured student stared at Lauren face with discomfort and instead of helping him up, he faced the one who had caused this and grinned angrily at Chris like a lion who's ready to pounce on its prey.
Lauren got annoyed as he activated his ability once again and after doing a few moves and legworks, he created six fire disc that looks just like a moon crescent.
"I'm not here for you, but it seems like I need to take care of you first to complete my mission." Lauren said as he launched into the air, all ready to fight Chris at full force. But Chris noticed something, as Lauren moved, the fire crescent also moved with him, it was following his directions and order.
When the angry bird was at five metres closer to Chris, he immediately slammed his hands together and the fire crescent, still following his orders had flew straight, heading for Chris's attractive flesh.
Chris had quickly calculated the speed of the fire crescent and using all his senses and might, he had immediately transformed into his beast form, a Minotaur. An half human, half beast creature who had the body of a man and the head of a bull. The two horns on its head were a lot similar to that of a bull while its other body, excluding the feet are human.
"Rarrghhhhh!!" Chris roared in his beast form as he use his strong arms to hit the fire crescents to a side. Now he could be seen running towards Lauren at a full beast speed.
"I call it BEAST MODE!!" He launched into the air as he projected himself to slam his fist on Lauren and end the fight there once and for all.
Chris was at arms length, but Lauren had quickly taken action by forming a strong fire wall to protect himself. The wall was created using flames of fire, but it was as thick as an earth wall. The fire wall was round and shaped like a dome or to make it clear, it covered Lauren like a ball.
Lauren's two friends were at a distance away from him, so they weren't affected by Chris heavy landing. Even though that didn't affect them, the heavy smashing that Chris was making on Lauren's fire wall was causing the ground to shook violently. They wanted to run but they knew they had to stay and help their friend or they will be in the deep trouble if Lauren discovers that they are gone. They had wanted to back down since, thinking it was a silly idea to want to touch Xin's newly gotten sword. However, they couldn't or Lauren will make them regret not following his orders.
Well, they couldn't get out of it anyway, Lauren had helped them a lot in so many ways, and if they run away now, he would label them as traitors and due to his father's position, they might not be promoted. This same thing happened to Megalon, now he's repeating his third year and there's no hope that he'll be leaving this year or next year either.
The only thing the two friends of Lauren could do is watch till one conquers another. After all, the teachers wouldn't interfere. Not matter what happens, the head general had given out instructions to all the military personnels and teachers not to interfere. You think it is bad? Yes, the head general also feel the same way, but what could he do. The rich families had all came to him and had offered lots of things to him, making him promise that as long as their children aren't getting hurt during a fight, no one must interfere. That's why the head general told the Military personnels to only watch when there's a fight, but if a recognized student of a famous family is being beaten, they must interfere and punish the less privileged student.
Right at this moment, the military personnel were watching Chris and Lauren fight but due to how good Lauren was defending Chris's heavy punches they felt like he could still win.
The fire walls of Lauren were still strong but Lauren himself knew he was getting weak. His Mutant cell was decreasing by seconds and once he runs out of MC, he won't be able to use his fire ability until it refills back. That would be in an hour or so. And to make it refill faster, he would have to meditate for thirty minutes to get it to a full bar.
'Mehn, I need to get him off me, I'm getting tired and sweating badly.' Lauren complained as he sweat buckets.
Being able to use fire takes a lot of endurance and practice, you have to be able to walk on fire, sleep in the midst of burning fires, touch fire with your bare hands, and also, meditate in the midst of fire for three good hours.
Although Lauren had gotten adapted to this fire training since he was a kid, yet he was still sweating badly due to how long it had been since he's done this before.
Knowing that Chris won't stop till he runs out of his MC, Lauren quickly came up with a plan.
