Chapter 20: {Kick The Creep To The Curb}

(In Jugyeong's point of view)

Hyun was all worn out by the time we were at school. He bought me an espresso shot on ice though from the school barista. (Yeah, the school decided that adding more wood to the fire with giving young caffeine addicts more caffeine was a good idea. Thank GOD I'm ADHD and it doesn't make me bounce off the walls).

I have practice early today which is why I dragged the whole gang here. Hyun came with me since he was bored and wanted to see me kick a duffel bag heavier than him. But the actual reason why I'm here is because I'm sparring...

With a girl on the mixed gender ssireum team. Let's just say, I'm screwed.

You may wonder why my teacher put me to this.

"Since you have to fight Alita (sucks for you), I felt like you should practice against someone around the same size. She may not do Taekwondo, but she's a wrestler, if she gets a hold of you or slaps you hard enough, you may not get up. You need to be nimble on your feet." My coach said.

"Can you put on my industrial noise playlist?" I ask her.

"Yeah."

"Ready, get set, fight!" My coach announced.

"Jugyeong, lose real fast! You're so screwed you should just sit on your ***!" The girls ON MY TEAM chanted. Hyun was the only one cheering for me.

The girl just straight up charges at me with a pumsae hand slap and just straight bonks me hard. That's a Taekwondo technique, she was probably taught that so she could have a pressure move since ssireum is mostly throws and grabs.

I got hit so hard! Up there too!

"Ugh." I say.

"Is this what Hyun feels like getting smacked around by Jun?" I thought.

The girl grabs my leg. Big mistake.

With my free leg, WHILE HANGING UPSIDE DOWN MIND YOU, I strike this girl really hard in the temple with my heel.

She drops me then tries to body slam me while she's obviously dazed.

She got my arm.

THIS ISN'T MIXED MARTIAL ARTS I'M SCREWED IF SHE ARM BARS ME OR SOMETHING.

I do something that I can't do in Taekwondo.

I turn onto her then headbutt her.

I kick her really hard in the stomach when she gets up.

This girl must have an iron stomach, she grabs my leg, pulls me. Then pins me down.

I knee her a couple times, but it's over. I give up.

"Dang Jugyeong, that was fierce!" Hyun says. He looked both in love and terrified at the same time. Exactly how I want it.

"Jugyeong wins!" Coach said.

"Huh?!" Everyone said.

"The girl tapped out, she was in pain when you kneed her a lot."

"Dang girl you got sledgehammers for feet!" The ssireum girl said.

"Why'd you tap out?" I ask her.

"It hurt, and that first hit to the temple was just so painful I should have tapped out then."

"Really?"

"You got me good. I need ibuprofen or even morphine now."

"What's your name?"

"Ji-woo. Nice to meet you."

"Jugyeong. Likewise."

"DANGIT JUGYEONG! WE WANTED TO SEE YOU SUFFER!" the girls said.

"Now now, don't wish pain on anyone else, remember Taekwondo's motto."

"Who cares? Jugyeong is a *****!" A girl said.

"LANGUAGE!" The coach screamed.

"Sorry."

Class starts soon...

Jugyeong looked so hot beating that girl up.

{Yeah really don't piss her off. I'm more scared of her than Jun at this point.}

"I didn't talk to you though." I reply through thought.

{Remember, in your nerves.}

"Oh yeah."

"And he's talking weird again..." Jugyeong thought.

"Congrats babe!" I said.

"You called me babe? What happened to Hyun?" she replied.

"Wanted to see your reaction."

"Keep doing it."

"Kay."

I drop her off at Physics (yes I know now).

Then go to History.

History class is about the end of the war today. And yes I gave Jun my breakfast pizza (I don't wanna stink next to my girlfriend you know.)

I get to physics and I see Euntae. The dude is staring at me creepy. He grosses me out.

I want to beat him up. Real bad.

We have another partner assignment to do, I sit with Jisu (that girl that Kiara's friends with).

"Hi."

"Hi."

Let's just say it's awkward.

"I hear you're a jerk from a lot of people. I also hear you're a good friend to Kiara from her. No idea what to believe." the girl said.

"Believe both, because they're both correct." I reply.

"You take pride in being mean?"

"Nah I just like it when a lot of people hate me."

"You want me to hate you?"

"Your choice. If you tolerate my crazy I'll be there for you."

"You are weird."

"I know I am."

We finish our assignment in silence.

When I leave class. Euntae follows me...

"Do you know if Kiara will be walking home today? She's been avoiding me." he asked.

"No idea." I'm not lying to him, I dunno if Kiara wants me to drive her home today, she didn't ask.

I don't want to tell him she's scared of him because I dunno what he'll do to her if I do.

"HEY CAN YOU ASK HER FOR ME?" he asks while grabbing my arm.

"HARASSMENT!" I yell while spin kicking him in the face.

"WHAT THE HELL DUDE? WHAT'S YOUR PROBLEM?" I ask him.

"I just wanted you to ask her..." while on the ground.

"You didn't have to grab me, get the hell out. Just go!"

The dude was still on the ground. I wanted to stomp on him but I didn't want to do too much. I can't feel pain on my feet so I could have kicked him forever.

Hyun comes up...

(Back to Hyun)

"What happened babe?" I asked. Someone texted me that she bonked a dude REALLY hard.

"This dude grabbed me." she replies.

"Who?"

"Kiara's stalker." she whispered to me.

"Is that the reason she stayed with you?" I whisper back.

"Yeah."

We go to class.

She looked pissed.

She brought out the fidget cube that she uses once in a while, mostly when she's pissed off.

"You need a hug?"

"No, but a kiss would be nice."

"Why not both."

"NO PDA!" Mrs. Lim screamed.

"You said as long as class is in session. Class starts in 2 minutes." Jugyeong says.

"Go outside then."

"Okay."

"I'll walk to work today if you want to drive Kiara home." I say.

{Might as well run. You can't do cardio so might as well try.}

"Okay. I wanna beat him up though. He's scaring my friend." Jugyeong replies.

"I'm not even gonna say to be careful because I know he's screwed. After seeing you bop that girl the size of me today. He should be nothing."

"He'll probably have beer bottles with him."

"Then be careful."

The school day goes as normal.

I start running to work. I got lazy, especially since I worked out today. So I gave up half way and am walking right now.

"Hey I did a lot of exercise for only doing it a week."

{Okay true, take an ATC point for being a good boy.}

"Could I analyze someone's status window?"

"You have Jugyeong's?"

{I do actually.}

"Will you pull it up?"

I get to work. Sangah is there.

"How the hell did I get to work before you did? My school is like half a mile farther." she asks.

"Do you drive?"

"A bike."

"I walked. Jugyeong had some business to take care of so she couldn't drop me off."

"I. See."

"Why didn't you work yesterday?"

"I asked for Friday and Tuesday to be my off days."

"What about your date tomorrow?"

"I start late."

"Ah, a morning date."

"Yep."

"Just a warning, Saturday is dead as hell."

"Wait really?"

"Why do you think there's only three of us working today?"

"Ah that's why FRICK."

I go to the restroom to change.

Meanwhile with Jugyeong and Kiara (in Jugyeong's eyes)...

I drive Kiara home.

"You're gonna stay with me?" Kiara asked me.

"Just until Euntae starts creeping outside. I wanna beat him up." I say.

"How are you gonna do it without juvy?"

"We're women, if he grabs me I can claim harassment and justify self defense. I also recommend that you get a restraining order on him."

"You're crazy! How are you gonna beat him up though? He's as big as Hyun!"

"I fought a girl as big as Hyun today that trained in ssireum and won. This guy is a fatty that has no training and will probably come drunk. Easy win."

"Nevermind. Want some coffee or tea?"

"Why not both?"

"Cold or hot?"

"Cold."

"Okay."

In record time, in about an hour, Euntae bangs on the door.

I open the door.

"What the hell do you want?" I ask him.

"Iiiii just waaaaant to taaaaalk to Kiaraaaaaaa." He said drunker than hell.

"I don't want to talk to you leave me alone!" Kiara said.

"You heard her. Scat!" I said.

"Noooooo!" Euntae tries to smash a beer bottle over my head.

I kick it.

Then I kick him in the stomach off the stairs.

He fell on the curb.

I kicked him in the stomach twice.

I call the police.

He tries to get up, but I keep my foot on him.

They get here in about 2 minutes.

HE GOES TO JAIL.

Kiara goes with the officer so she can file a restraining order.

I drive to Ferrari's for tutoring with Hyun. I KNOW he's bored beyond his mind and I need it.
