Immortal Sword Sect founding day. This day was the day that was most significant in the history of the Immortal Sword Sect. Thus, this day was also the day that the annual acceptance of disciples opened. The event would last 3 days. Many elders would visit the event and choose disciples.

The elders all stood to a side and simply watched the proceedings.

None of the elders objected. While they were part of the Immortal Sword Sect, none of them had practised the Immortal Sword Art. They were not qualified to do so. Only mainline disciples were. They had practised their own sword styles which were suitable for them.

"I want her," A big-bellied bald elder stood up. The other elders looked at the elder with disgust. The elder's name was Zhang Bo. He was a lower-ranked elder who had barely become Spirit Duke thanks to the various pills given to him by his clan. He was renowned for being a lecherous pervert before becoming an Elder.

"I object. I believe that this girl will be better under me."

The same elder who had accepted Xiong Yongnian stood up.

"How is this fair Elder Xun? This girl is not suitable to learn the broadsword from you. She will fare better if she learnt to take the sword from me instead. Haha."

"I will take her."

A cold voice sounded. The person who had spoken was a middle-aged woman. Zhang Bo looked at her and wanted to fight but knew that he couldn't say anything about it.

A soft voice spoke. The elders looked at the source of the sound. The person who was speaking was a young handsome man in a wheelchair.

"What does a crippled person need?!" Zhang Bo shouted out.

All the elders immediately stood up. Madame Yu took out her sword and immediately swung it at Zhang Bo. The Sword Qi from her sword went towards Zhang Bo and missed him by an inch. Sweat dripped from Zhang Bo's face. Madame Yu then turned towards the handsome youth.

"Greetings Elder Chen. I did not expect to see you here. If you feel that the girl will do better under you, I will agree to your decision."

The youth nodded. Zhang Bo's face turned ugly.

"How is this fair Madame Yu? If I want to take her as my disciple, you all disagree. But if this nameless youth appears, you not only claim him as Elder but also tell that he can accept this girl as his disciple? Can he cultivate this genius?"

Madame Yu harrumphed.

Elder Chen gave Yin Xiu a hexagonal token. The token was black in colour. There was the number 2 on one side of the token and the character for a Chen on the other.

"You can use this token to collect your resources from the sect treasury once a month."

Zhang Bo's face paled when he saw the token. 5e number 2 on the token was representing the mountain in the sect from which that Elder had come. There were 36 mountains and they were ranked in terms of power. Zhang Bo came from the 34th mountain. The big burly Elder Xun had come from the 29th mountain. Madame Yu came from the 9th mountain. But the 2nd mountain was the most powerful as the 1st mountain belonged to the sect leader.

Elder Chen looked at Zhang Bo.

"Elder Zhang. I hope that your reputation does not precede you. The Sect promotes righteousness."

Zhang Bo wanted to refute the crippled young man. But he couldn't in front of Madame Yu.

"Elder Chen. I think that the new disciples can learn a lot from two Elders battling. Why don't you face me and show them how it is like?"
