Precarious Situation

Yin Xiu entered the mountain, ready to fight the magical beasts that would come her way. She was ready to prove that she had learnt a lot from her master and that her cultivation was not for show.

Yin Xiu wandered towards her destination before encountering her first opponent.

It was a 9th Level Sprit Apprentice Realm Fire Leopard. Yin Xiu quickly got into her fighting stance. -Her battles would start.

Hao Jin was persistently going through the routine his master was making him go through. He was okay with it though. This was because he only had to do this routine for a few more weeks. He was 3 weeks away from his 8th birthday.

Chen Jiang was not paying attention to what was going through his disciple's minds. He was sitting in the courtyard and looking at the peach blossom tree that was blooming. He did not move at all and left his newest disciple to do whatever he wanted.

The next 3 weeks passed in a flash just like that. Chen Jiang was still doing the same thing. He saw Hao Jin come up to him.

"Master."

"Yes. Have you already completed your routine for today? That was very quick."

"No master. I don't have to do the routine today. I turned 8 years old today."

Chen Jiang's eyes did not leave the peach blossom tree. It was on full bloom and some of the petals were falling.

"Really. That is good. I will impart the cultivation technique you must use. Your cultivation will be slow at first but you should not worry. Do not change your cultivation method no matter what."

"Okay master."

Hao Jin was thinking that his master would hand him a cultivation manual but Chen Jiang simply pointed his finger to the forehead of Hao Jin.

Hao Jin suddenly had the entire knowledge of the new cultivation technique.

"It's called... Agile Sword God Technique?"

"Come to me if you have any problems. Now focus on cultivating."

Hao Jin left. He did that for the entire day. Chen Jiang was still looking at the Peach Blossom.

After a week, he went close to the peach blossom. He bowed to it.

"I wish you were here. I hope you are living a great life in your after life, mother."

Chen Jiang suddenly felt something happened. He understood what happened. He suddenly took out a sword out of nowhere. He flicked it towards a general direction.

Yin Xiu was facing 3 bandits who were looking at her lecherously. They were initially 5 and had already attacked her twice but a mysterious force had thrown them away. The other 3 were closing in on her.

"What a great catch brother."

"You are right. Such a beauty, she will fetch a hefty sum among the nobles."

"And who is to say if we enjoy her first?"

Yin Xiu was trembling.

"I am a 5th Level Spirit Warrior."

"A warrior? Cultivators fetch even more. But you must be a genius if you are already at that level. I must kill you to save myself from your master."

"Let us enjoy her first brother."

Suddenly a huge sword like qi manifestation landed right before Yin Xiu. The moment it landed, it emitted a huge Qi wave in the direction of the bandits. The Qi wave crushed the bandits into smithereens immediately after contacting them.

The Qi wave continued and wrecked everything in it's way until it stopped right in front of a huge tree that was 5 Li away from Yin Xiu.

Yin Xiu was unable to comprehend what happened.

"Pick up the sword."

Yin Xiu heard a familiar sound.

"Master?"

"Pick up the sword."

Yin Xiu immediately went forward and picked up the sword. She took it out from the ground with some effort and held it firmly.

It was a good sword. A very very good sword. Yin Xiu was instantly enamored with the crystalline blue sword that was also very light to hold.

"That can be your sword from now on. You can manifest your Qi into that and it will become more powerful. This sword can fully handle the full strength of your Ice element Qi."

Yin Xiu was very happy. This was because she understood the worth of the sword. There weren't a lot of swords that could handle a Spirit Warrior's Qi. And those which could handle elemental Qi were even rare. The sword would probably fetch around 200 Low Grade Spirit Stones.
