"Alright, the battle will be between Shoto Todoroki and Tenya Ida, who will act as villains and protect the Nuclear bomb, while Katsuki Bakugo and Izuku Midoriya will be the heroes responsible for defusing it. Now, why don't you four head to the test area? We'll be observing from here," All Might announced.
Nodding, both Shoto and Ida proceeded ahead, while Katsuki complained, "Hey! Why do I have to team up with him? Hey, switch with me!"
Laughing, All Might patted Izuku's head and explained, "That's not possible, young Bakugo. As a hero, you must learn to adapt to your allies. Sometimes, two heroes who have never met before can synchronize like two veterans who have spent years working together. That's what you should aspire to do as a Future Hero!"
Ignoring Katsuki's complaints, Izuku was about to leave the room when All Might placed a hand on his shoulder and asked, "Oh, wait, young Midoriya, is this really your costume? Don't get me wrong, it looks very aesthetically pleasing for a hero, but protection is crucial for us heroes. Going fully naked on your upper body is dangerous."
Suppressing the urge to brush off All Might's hand, Izuku gave his best attempt at an innocent smile and replied, "Oh, you don't have to worry, All Might-san. I can handle being bare-chested. It's no problem, really. I have to go now, you know, for the test."
All Might nodded, preparing to provide assistance if the child got injured due to his choices.
(Idiot, if you knew the level of protection my leggings alone offer, you'd be astonished. Besides, none of these brats can harm me anyway.)

While waiting for All Might's signal to start the test, Izuku observed Katsuki, who appeared to be getting ready for a race.
"What are you doing?" Izuku inquired.
Frowning, Katsuki replied, "I'm preparing to beat you. I won't let you take the glory of defeating them both before me."
Smiling at Katsuki, Izuku proposed, "Let's make a bet, shall we? If you manage to touch that Rocket before me, I will call you 'master' for the rest of your life!"
Hearing Izuku's words, Katsuki's blood boiled with rage as he exclaimed, "Huh! Are you underestimating me? You think I can't do it! I'll show you!" He knew that Izuku wouldn't make such a bet unless he was 100% confident, and he was determined to make Izuku eat his words.
Before Izuku could respond, All Might emerged and said, "3... 2... 1... Start the test."
Both Izuku and Katsuki dashed inside the building, only to be met with a wave of ice.

"Let me handle them both; don't do anything except protect the bomb," said Shoto Todoroki, locking eyes with Tenya Ida.
Shoto's words didn't sit well with Tenya, who tried his best to play the part of a villain, exclaiming, "How dare you! As villains, we must be evil together and take down the heroes as a team!"
Ignoring his partner's response, Shoto waited for All Might's signal.
"3…2…1… Start the test."
As soon as the signal sounded, Shoto unleashed a burst of icy energy from his body, freezing everything in his path. He knew that Katsuki and Izuku were unaware of his abilities, so he decided to go all out from the start, trying to overpower both of his adversaries.

Inside the Viewing Room

"Oh no, Izuku!" exclaimed Ochaco as she witnessed the burst of ice freeze both him and Bakugo.
"Izuku is frozen, I can't believe it," Mina said in disbelief. The reaction varied among the students. They knew Izuku had been the number one in the UA Entrance exam, but they were shocked to see him defeated so easily by one of the special enrollment students.
With a smug expression, Momo Yaoyorozu remarked, "Of course, as expected of a Special Enrollment." As one herself, she took pride in witnessing Shoto's power.
Concerned for his new friend, Kirishima implored, "All Might-san, shouldn't you help them? Being frozen for that long is not a good idea. Please, help them."
Chuckling, All Might pointed at the screen and reassured, "I think you all underestimate your classmates' tenacity. Look."
Every student's gaze turned towards the screen and, to their astonishment, they saw Izuku's chest emit a red glow as if building up energy. Then, unexpectedly, flames burst forth from Izuku's body.
Everyone, including All Might, was taken aback by this development. However, the flames were far from ordinary. They exhibited precision and accuracy, intentionally melting only the ice. The flames followed the ice's trail meticulously, ignoring everything else in their path. They spread throughout the building, melting the ice up to Shoto Todoroki's hands without harming him.
What left everyone even more stunned was the ice that had frozen Katsuki Bakugo. The flames refused to touch it, Leaving him stuck inside

As he found himself encased in ice, Izuku pondered his options. Then, a revelation struck him: "I could use Muramasa's ability."
Concentrating his mind, Izuku's body began to heat up as energy surged within him. He confidently proclaimed, "Blaze!"
Flames erupted from his body, expertly targeting and melting all the ice, except the portion surrounding Bakugo. Fixing his gaze on the remaining ice, Izuku taunted, "Well, well, looks like you never stood a chance. I can't believe you call yourself my rival when you couldn't even defeat the other guy. It's a shame, really. I almost considered you a challenge, but you were never my equal, and now, just look at you—so pathetic. You can't even escape from ice; you never had a chance, Bakugo."
Rage ignited in Bakugo's mind, and he retorted fiercely, unleashing explosive energy: "You bastard! I WILL WIN!"
