Yesterday in the evening
…
In a vast forest, Izuku resided within the grand house he constructed. Before him lay a forging workshop where he diligently worked on his masterpiece: an unrivaled armor, the most exceptional light armor ever conceived. Crafting this piece was undoubtedly one of the most challenging tasks he had ever undertaken, but the real struggle lay in obtaining the necessary materials.
Titanium, the key component, proved exceedingly expensive, making it essential for Izuku to explore alternative means of acquisition. Adjacent to his abode was a factory that held a considerable amount of titanium – a plane factory focused on manufacturing top-tier military planes designed to combat villains too formidable for ordinary heroes. Here, Izuku found the material required for his true armor. Though titanium possessed remarkable strength and was notably lighter than steel, it couldn't withstand the force of powerful punches capable of breaking the sound barrier.
Yet, Izuku discovered a solution in Palladium micro-alloy glass – an incredibly robust and durable material that had been successfully produced by researchers in California. Recognizing its strength and durability, Izuku understood the potential it held for crafting his armor. However, he was no fool; creating an armor from glass, no matter how strong, would pose a risk. Thus, employing his quirk, he took on the abilities of a Hassan and covertly infiltrated the military factory to procure the titanium and Palladium he needed.
Seated in his chair, Izuku hammered the titanium, shaping it to his design, while enveloped in golden flames. His plan was ingenious – instead of a conventional single-layer armor, he decided on a double-layer design. The first layer comprised a thin mixture of palladium and titanium, providing essential protection with minimal bulk, reserved for use only when facing a formidable foe.
Izuku had reasons for not wearing the first layer at all times; he preferred his upper body to be unencumbered, granting his muscles freedom and better sword wielding. Moreover, the look appealed to him.
The second layer consisted of a complete armor made entirely of titanium, fortified with layers of Palladium micro-alloy glass. For practicality, he concealed the formidable armor under black baggy cargo pants crafted from high-caliber leather, rendering them resistant to slashing attacks. Completing his ensemble were the enchanted red arm pad and white flowery sash, items left by Muramasa that exceeded any of Izuku's current creations in terms of durability.
In this manner, Izuku meticulously crafted a truly remarkable armor, blending ingenuity and prowess to prepare for any perilous encounters that lay ahead.
…
Now
…
Accompanied by his schoolmates, Izuku headed to the changing room, where he donned his armor for the second time. Admiring his creation, he smiled with pride, proceeding to put on the cargo pants and fasten the red arm pad while draping the sash over his back. As he stepped out, he noticed Kirishima and Katsuki engrossed in conversation.
"Hey, I don't want you following me around, got it?" Katsuki expressed firmly, attempting to distance Kirishima.
Observing this, Izuku couldn't help but intervene, saying, "Don't listen to him. He actually enjoys your company quite a bit. If he didn't, he would have made it clear."
Katsuki groaned and shot a glance at Izuku, retorting, "Oh, shut up! You don't know anything about me!" He swiftly darted out of the changing room, with Kirishima in pursuit.
Intrigued by Izuku's behavior towards Katsuki and the tension between them, Fumikage Tokoyami, whose head resembled that of a bird, asked, "Do you have a history with Katsuki before he joined UA?" Curiosity filled Tokoyami's gaze.
Izuku replied confidently, "Of course, I know him well. I was his mentor for the last six years, teaching him everything he knows. Today, you'll get to witness that." With that, he too left the changing room, leaving the other male students astonished by the revelation.
…
In a dimly lit room, All Might assembled all the students, who were donning their fresh new hero costumes. He pointed towards the screen and declared, "You will split into two groups of two through a draw. Two of you will act as the villains and protect the fake bomb hidden in the building, while the other two will take on the roles of heroes. The villains' objective is to safeguard the bomb until time runs out or defeat the heroes. On the other hand, the heroes must stop the bomb before it explodes. Remember, even if the heroes manage to defeat the villains, they will fail if the bomb detonates. We'll be using this screen to observe and analyze your strengths and interactions with your fellow students. Feel free to ask any questions, and I'll provide feedback for each of you. Now, does anyone have any inquiries?"
As no one raised any questions, All Might proceeded to click on the screen, revealing the draw.
"Shoto Todoroki and Tenya Ida versus Katsuki Bakugo and Izuku Midoriya."
